Jihad in China update. Evidently cheap fleabag hotels are not targeted. "Chinese police warning that Islamic extremists might attack hotels: U.S.," from AP, with thanks to Twostellas:
BEIJING (AP) - Chinese police have warned of a possible attack by Islamic extremists on luxury hotels in China over the next week, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing said Wednesday.The warning, posted on the Embassy website, urged Americans visiting such hotels to "review their plans carefully, remain vigilant with regard to their personal security, and exercise caution."
U.S. President George W. Bush is due to visit Beijing on Nov. 19-21, which comes just after the period cited in the warning.
"The Embassy has learned that Chinese police advised hotels that Islamic extremist elements could be planning to attack four and five star hotels in China sometime over the course of the next week," the U.S. notice said.

Knowing how tough it is to enter or leave China, how would Islamists manage to make their way to Beijing without the cooperation of the authorities. Are the borders porous enough in certain areas?

Good. I hope they do!
The Islamists are actually dumb enough to blow up stuff in China. But if they do, China will make an end to Islam in China!
And while they clean up in China, they hopefully also get rid of that filthy, revolting mosque on Nathan road right behind the Peninsula hotel.

China can't even tolerate Buhddists who set THEMSELVES on fire, let alone worthless barbarians like Islamists. China would wipe them out.

I'd like to believe that, but the Chinese are also into playing the "my enemy's enemy is my friend game". S. Huntingdon certainly saw the potential for Islamists and the Chinese to find some accord back when he wrote "Clash of Civilizations" arising from China's desire for economic supremacy.

fellow dragon ;) you may be right about China's desire to be #1 one day, and to use Islam to fulfill that desire, however I can gaurantee it'll come back and bite 'em in the butt. Islam turns on ALL infidels until they are properly Islamisized, even if they are former allies. Hopefully China isn't that stupid.
