Al-Qaida ops busted at Mexican border?

Did three A-Q members recently cross into the U.S. from Mexico? More evidence of why the border issue is a national security issue from WorldNetDaily.com, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:

WASHINGTON – In announcing the introduction of legislation aimed at preventing illegal aliens from getting driver's licenses yesterday, a North Carolina Republican member of the House of Representatives casually dropped a bombshell that went over the heads of most of the media covering the event – that three members of al-Qaida were recently captured trying to enter the U.S.

"This isn't aimed at any one race," said Sue Myrick, who is being mentioned as a potential candidate for governor of the state. "Our main concern is: Who's in our state? This is a critical issue today. They just arrested, down on the border, a couple of weeks ago, three al-Qaida members who came across from Mexico into the United States."

That's how she was quoted in her local daily – the Charlotte Observer. An audio recording of the event confirms the quotation's accuracy.

There was no follow-up by the reporters present.

...I can't help but wonder if a quarter-trillion-dollar improvement plan would have made a difference at the border. Ah well, I guess we'll never know.

Even when attempting to apprehend hapless peasant farmer Mexicans at the border, authorities concede that they only nab one in ten. Now how well do you think that professionally-trained, battle-hardened, religiously insane, well-financed Jihadis do? One in twenty? One in fifty?

Guess we'll find out soon enough, eh Gary? Maybe Fearless Leader will appoint a Faith-based group to guard our border.

If what Susan Myrick said is untrue then our Homeland Security Dept. should say so.They are the the overlords of our immigration authorities. The former INS.

That's Michael Chertoff's purview. And he's an open borders tool, same as GW.

Posted by: dennisw [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 10, 2005 7:38 AM

Sue Myrick is just repeating what many of us have heard. Arab Muslims from different Middle Eastern countries have been intercepted crossing the border all across the southwest. The feds immediately take the Arabs while border patrol deals with everyone else. Muslims from Spain or spanish-speaking parts of Morocco could walk across unnoticed.

There is new legislation proposed by Reps Hunter and Goode called the "True Enforcement" bill.

I've read the proposals, this bill really does address the root causes of illegal immigration.
For example:

Citizens have the ability to sue companies for hiring illegals.
Every employer MUST use the new system to verify their employee is legal to work in the US.
Employers get larger fines and longer prison terms. They can also go to jail after hiring just one illegal, you don't have to prove a pattern.
It gets rid of the "anchor baby" provision.
Much stricter border and internal enforcement.
It includes a wall along the US/Mexico border.
If we can limit the flow north, we can better id those who come here with ill intent. Right now they can just mingle with massive hordes pouring north. It also makes it harder for them to mingle with the general citizenry.
Unless of course, they are students from Saudi Arabia. sacr on/

More on the bill is available at www.fairus.org.
And everybody, PLEASE don't tell me that business interests won't let it pass. If you roll over and play dead in advance, you pretty much ensure that the bad stuff will happen. If you're against illegal immigrant and for rational border security, this bill is worth fighting for.

"HOCUS POCUS, CHANGE THE FOCUS!"

WAKE UP PEOPLE! YOU ARE CHASING A SHADOW OF THE HORSE THAT LEFT THE CORRAL A LONG TIME AGO!

The focus need not be on who is coming into the country now, then, or ever. The country must become the focus. What is it going to take to make the hoi polloi of this once proud nation to get its back up enough to stand up to the coward that is pushing us around? The president
used to be referred to as the "Leader" of our country. That ended in Dallas in 1963.
Since then, the presidents have been nothing but propped up puppets, manipulated
by The Secret Team. This was disclosed for all to see by the late Col. Fletcher Prouty. The decisions being
made today are made in the best interests of a bunch of covert con men that our government
has become, and every decision is based on one thing -- the almighty dollar. The bottom
line. Who stands to gain what is all that matters. How many people have to die,
both on our shores and abroad before people understand that we have become nothing
more than bystanders, spectators if you will, while our world spins drastically out of control.
The downward spiral toward the complete ruin of American society as we know it began
in 1963 when President Kennedy was assassinated. The "War on Drugs" in the 80's gave more
power to the men behind the curtain, and the genocide of September 11 may have been the
ultimate thumbing of their noses by the real enemy at Americans everywhere. (I say "may have
been the ultimate" because it is very clear to me that what happened to the Twin Towers was
only a warm up of things for come. They may push the envelope even further into the horrific with
their next "terrorist attack".) It has become clear to many of us that as the decline gains speed and we sit idly by, washing our prozac, lithium and zoloft down with white wine and lite beer while our country as a whole is being led down a not so primrose path by Bush's bravado and braggadocio. We need not be quite so afraid of what is going to happen next as long as ol W has a plan, right?.As long as we have an enemy "somewhere out there" all is well? We may as well be sitting in a theatre eating popcorn for all the effect we are having on our own lives.
RIP HST

Treehugger:

Thanks for the post, this looks like a good bill. What I like about it are the provisions that bring penalties to the employers. This is absolutly crucial. We can't focus entirely on the border.

If I put a fence around my house with a no trespass sign, but also let it be known that anyone who makes it over the fence and into the house will receive a $1,000,000, what do you think would happen? By not enforcing our labor laws we are sending a mixed message to the illegals. Don't cross our borders, but if you do make it across we welcome you with open arms.

If we eliminate the job prospects we will greatly reduce the reason that illegals come accross the border to begin with. These employers must understand that they are committing a crime when they hire someone illegally.

I especially like the part where citizens can sue employers, because we know the government will do nothing even if the law is passed. The 1986 law was passed in exchange for amnesty and required employers to inspect three pieces of ID when someone is hired. When was the last time you ever heard of the Department of Labor enforcing this provision?

NO AMNESTY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

We tried that once and it is a total sham, it only encorages more illegal immigration. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Hi Bribos.

I am reading about the very thing you discuss, right now. A work of fiction about how the Illuminati run everything.

That is who you are blaming, yes?

btw, it is a very Bad work of fiction- just like your conspiracy- by a fundamentalist writer. But I had no idea of that when I was out yard saling this summer and found it. Unfortunately I shall have to finish it before returning to my history studies- where I've never found one Jot of proof of the group you refer to.

These “special interest” aliens are absolutely our greatest security risk at the borders. They will often change their names from Muslim to Hispanic and states like NC with loose and poorly managed licensing programs are making it too easy. Many (SIs) are paying the smugglers $10k-$30k or more per head which is a lot just to work at a convenience store.

See: http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2005/3/8/214617.shtml

While a vigilant “few” keep their eyes on the southern border, the northern border is exploited, and the seaboards…how will it be stopped, really? Our mild deterrents are not working against well-organized and determined groups out to cause harm.

Why does the media act as if it MIGHT happen? It already HAS happened.

Hey Carolyn... another thing that I really, really like about your linked site,

www.thereligionofpeace.com

was the terror-acts-in-the-name-of-islam-in-the-last-year spreadsheet... too bad they don't keep a running total at top.

Also of interest was the comparison of how many were killed during the Crusades, how many by the KKK, etc. with the number killed by Islam in recent times.

I respond to you here because there's already over 120 comments at the site where you left it... you need to keep posting that link every couple of days. But make sure Mr. Spencer doesn't mind. I was posting a link here that he asked me not to put up anymore, all about the crazy prophet and his followers. Apparently they quote one of the hadiths or whatever that aren't considered authentic by some. Just email me if you want to know the URL, I think it's a great site.

GAAAAH! My eyes! Be careful not to accidently leave of the "the" and go to

www.religionofpeace.com

it's a bunch of horseshit about how great Islam is.

Nice try, Gary, but as you can see for yourself, it is a problem for both sides. But MY side isn't the one that's making the decision to guard (or not guard) the border. That would be YOUR side.

Posted by: kj [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 10, 2005 12:41 PM

Or Gary, are you trying to make me believe that Bush's hands are tied by Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton? That he can't do ANYTHING to stop the thousands of OTMs that are pouring in?

Gary, have you ever heard of an organization called "Homeland Security"? It's part of the President's cabinet. You should really look into that, you know. It must be so embarassing for you to continually try to deflect blame for Vacation King.

GD, Gary... do you think that Reagan would have stood by while this happened? Or would he have sent Border Patrol enough money, men, troops, trucks, ANYTHING? True, he loved Islam and focused on communism... but don't you think that if 9-11 had happened on HIS watch, that he would have done something to protect our border?

Stop selling yourself for Fearless Leader. And don't accuse me of doing the same, you are doing for someone who had 9-11 happen on HIS watch. It didn't happen on Kerry, or Gore, or Carter, or Hitlery's watch. None of them control the Department of Homeland Security.

Hold your leader to a higher standard.

Violence greets Clinton visit
Thousands of left-wing protesters chanting anti-American slogans have clashed with police and set dozens of shops ablaze at the start of a delayed state visit by US President Bill Clinton to Athens.

Riot police used teargas against thousands of left-wing protesters who had gathered in the central Syndagma Square outside the parliament in Athens, after a small group threatened to storm the building.

As the crowd fled through surrounding streets, fires were started in rubbish bins and some shop windows smashed.

OH MY THE TRUTH HURTS DON'T IT!!

He also reminded journalists that he had been trying to generate a peace initiative between Greece and Turkey, over the divided island of Cyprus.

"The Greek people and the government should be quite At least three people were reported to have blood on their heads.

The trouble, which the authorities blamed on anarchists, broke out almost exactly as Mr Clinton touched down at Athens airport.

OH MY??

His visit was originally scheduled for last weekend, but was delayed and shortened from three days to one following a series of anti-American protests.

Greek dislike of the US is based partly on Washington's perceived backing of Greece's traditional enemy Turkey. It was fuelled more recently by Nato's offensive against Yugoslavia.

The Greek Public Order Ministry has staged an unprecedented security operation to protect Mr Clinton, deploying some 7,000 police, backed by 400 FBI agents, across the city.

It has closed 12 miles of central Athens' usually-congested streets for the entire day, with bus routes altered for two days.

It banned protesters from rallying near the airport, anywhere along the seaside boulevard linking the airport to central Athens, and a triangular area housing the US embassy and other official buildings.

The security arrangements seemed to anger protesters further.

The Greek Communist Party and two other small left-wing opposition parties urged demonstrators to test police barriers and march to the US Embassy.

Rallies were also planned in other Greek cities, and more than 2,000 protesters burned American flags outside the US Consulate on the northern port of Thessaloniki.

OH MY??

AND WE CAN NEVER FORGET!!!!!!

Subject: WWW III - While we snooze
: WW III
You have to read the catalogue of events in this brief piece.
Then, ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, re-set the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again.
In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979... that alarm has been ringing for years.
U.S. Navy Captain Ouimette is the Executive Officer at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. Here is a copy of the speech he gave last month. It is an accurate account of why we are in so much trouble today and why this action is so necessary.

AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!

That's what we think we heard on the 11th of September 2001 (When more than 3,000 Americans were killed -AD) and maybe it was, but I think it should have been "Get Out of Bed!" In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979 and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then.
It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world's most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 23 years.
America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert.
The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of America's inability to deal with terrorism.
America's military had been decimated and downsized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start.
Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued.
In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.
Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more.
Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.
The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gates of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept.
Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.
Then in August a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked.
Fifty-nine days later a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.
The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259.
Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war.
The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder. The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war?
The Snooze alarm is depressed again.
Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.
A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively.
They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.
The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.
And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are.
America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep.
In the news lately we have seen lots of finger pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn't know. But if you've read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don't have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.
The President is right on when he says we are engaged in a war. I think we have been in a war for the past 23 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough.
America needs to "Get out of Bed" and act decisively now. America has been changed forever. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep.
After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said "...it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant." This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world.
Support Our Troops and support President Bush for having the courage, political or militarily, to address what so many who preceded him didn't have the backbone to do both Democrat and Republican. This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.
Please forward this to as many people as you can especially to the young people and all those who dozed off in history class and who seem so quick to protest such a necessary military action.

My guess is that white Muslims from Chechnya will be utilized if there is some kind of operation requiring an on-foot border crossing. There are also growing numbers of Chinese Muslims as well.

It is scary enough to consider what could happen right now, but if you consider fifteen years down the road with many Europeans converted to Islam...

We could have global civil war within our lifetime.

Dear all JW's/DW of the infidel kind:

This morning in one of the largest local papers in Australia today, there was a repugnant article by Halim Rane, a PHd scholar in Islam at a uni here.

I am after some comebacks - and I hope you guys can help me as I'm really busy at work at the moment.

Halim says,

"Islam equates the taking of an innocent life with killing the whole of humanity"

Can somebody please quote to me the passage where this comes from - and more importantly the bit that follows, as I know it condones killing innocent life.

He then goes on with the "Muslim victimhood" bla bla bla.

He also talks about Islamic war ethics saying how no non combatants can be harmed.

Again I know this is crap - and I would like to counter it with both the verse and others that abrogate or contradict it.

I'm after this info ASAP (today) as I want to write a letter (which I doubt they will publish - but I'm still going to try) today to counter this dribble.

Thanks

Troops on the border with orders to shoot to kill if unheeded is the only way to stop the flood of humans invading our country. We need live human beings not a wall, walls can be blown up, dug under, ladders used and chipped thru.
The only thing I can think of is the current and former people in power WANT anarchy, we put a person on the moon we can stop people from coming into our country if we want to.

This subject always pisses me off and then some whack job points me to www.infowars.com to justify his errant belief system and really sets me off.

I believe everyone deserves a decent living but not buy breaking the law to do so.

If our government would protect the borders as well as it protects that base out there in nevada ( what base? ) we wouldn't have to worry about illeagals / terrorists coming in.

Hey kj,

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/
The site used to have a tally of all RoP® attacks since 9-11, as you can see it just got too long. It says all we need to know about the RoP®. Like the site asks, you feeling the peace yet?

V Dare is about the best site in relation to border-jumpers.

The funny thing about the Northern border with Canada and the US is the Asians have been using it for their illegal imigration for some 20 years or more and nothing is done about that one either... I am beginning to wonder why I even bother to vote?
The people I vote for either Dem or Rep do not seem to care about the sanctity of our borders either before or after 9/11 and with the PC status quo there seems to be no desire to correct or even speak of the problem.
What then can we do?

Posted by: aggygnostic [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 10, 2005 6:27 PM

Well, Carolyn2, the running tally (the raw number, no details) is still there, I think, but they only list the attacks for the previous year (I guess every day a new one is added and the oldest one is removed.)

Oh yeah, I feel the peace alright. "Groovy, man. Hey dudes, let's all get on the Peace Train and ride it to Palestine!"

******************************************

Thank you for those kind birthday wishes, Catherine. Yes, folks; it was 230 years ago today that the United States Marine Corps (we didn’t call it that back then) was formed at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

And for this reason, we don't celebrate the Queen of England's birthday. And we don't speak Geman. And we didn't have to learn to speak Russian. And we will never, ever have to learn to speak Arabic.

Catherine, you may find it hard to believe, but I signed up to join the Marines right after the Beirut Massacre. My father was a US Marine, and he died just before that. His father was also a US Marine; I never met him.

I had been talking to the Navy recruiter around that time(all my uncles, granduncles, cousins, and my mother's father had been Sailors) but when Poppa died, I started to really think about joining the Marine Corps. I was a little scared, I admit. I never had the fighting spirit, because Poppa was... what Dr. Laura calls an "absentee parent."

When the barracks was attacked in Beirut, I made up my mind. I figured that there was no time like the present, maybe they would relax the tough standards to get a bunch of guys in at once. None of my friends could believe that I signed up. I figured that the Marines could make a man out of me. (I was right. The Marines are in the business of making MEN out of BOYS. I may not be their proudest moment, but they made a man out of me, and I did my duty. They DEFINITELY instilled the fighting spirit in me.) Mother had to sign a waiver for the recruiter for me to join so young.

Remember Catherine, I don't have your faith. I don't get 72 virgin whores, and I won't get a harp and a pair of angel wings, either. (At least I don't think I will. According to the Old Testament, I'm covered anyway, because I help Israel, and Yaweh will bless me. There's only one way to know for sure.) The Marines are not the religious altar boys you'd like to imagine... we like porno, loose women, hard liquor, red meat, un-Baptist sex (think "Monica"), and cigarettes. More than a few of us liked marijuana.

Tiajuana, Mexico is like Disneyland for the Marine Corps. Most civilians think of it as a drug-infested, gin-washed, Sodom; the most depraved den of vice on the entire continent. Full of under-aged whores and vile pleasures.

They are right. And we LOVE IT BABY!!! OORAH! There's nothing like a weekend pass, a hundred-dollar bill, and a bus ticket to Tiajuana!

Even the God Of The Marines, Chesty Puller, is not presumed to be in Heaven... every night in boot camp on Parris Island, after singing the Marines Hymn, all the recruits scream in unison, "Good night Chesty Puller, wherever you may be!"

I joined thinking that I could probably die. Those were the days when there was "war and rumors of war..." England in Argentina; Syria, Iran, and Israel in Lebanon; the Commies in Afghanistan; terrorists were murdereing Americans anywhere they could get them...Reagan was on tv saying that Armageddon would be seen by MY generation.

Somehow I made it through bootcamp, served my four, and got the hell out. I saw a lot of fistfights, won a few fistfights, and lost a lot of them too. Sometimes it was civilian Vs. Marine, sometimes it was Sailor Vs. Marine, sometimes Cop Vs. Marine... usually it was Marine Vs. Marine. I never shot at a living person, I was never shot at. But a lot of my buddies went to Saudi in '91. To my knowledge, they all came back.

***********************************************

Anyway, I'm glad that you sent this little essay. It is very revealing. Let's analyze it, shall we? (Everything in italics are quotes from Catherine's letter.)

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil.

One for Carter....

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut.

One for Reagan...

Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed.

Two for Reagan...(the response was to pull all of the troops out of Lebanon, invade Grenada, and leave the Christians to be slaughtered by Hezbollah/PLO/Syria/Iran... within three years Ollie North, the EX-Marine, was selling them missiles from the White House basement...but he has an “R” after his name, so no big whoop, eh Cath?)

Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.

Three for Reagan...(this is around the time he started throwing money that the Jihadis of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Saddam Hussein.)

...in September 1984, another van was driven into the gates of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept.

Four for the Walking Nap...

In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.

Five for Reagan...

Then in August a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed... Was it hippies? No; they would've had a VW van.

SIX for St. Ronnie...

Fifty-nine days later a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

Seven for Reagan....

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259.

Eight for Reagan....

Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war.

LOL….Wait a minute... CLINTON treated these terrorist acts as crimes? What did the Governor of Arkansas have to do with fighting international terrorism? Since Reagan was the president then, shouldn't REAGAN have done something? At least Clinton didn’t sell them stinger missiles and fund their “brothers” in Afghanistan. When someone who used to help screws you over, it's "blowback." What's it called when you help someone that screwed you over? "GOP-back."

In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

Unless that was after Jan. 20th, One for Bush Sr....

The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war?

No, it wasn’t an act of war, because a nation didn’t do it to us. Timothy McVeigh did a lot more damage than that... was that an act of war? In either case, against whom should we have declared war?

The terror-crime threat WAS taken seriously, that’ how we managed to not be attacked on Y2k. And don’t forget, Al Gore headed a study that suggested that all commercial flights have locking cockpit doors… the airline industry said that doing so would be prohibitively expensive. (Yeah, the same airline industry that was handed 15 BILLION taxdollars in October 2001.)

And unlike most of the jihadis that attacked us prior to that, these were actually captured and sent to prison for life. The lucky ones, that is. Some of them in Saudi were beheaded. And some were sent to prison in Yemen, from which they magically “escaped” after Bush decided to invaded Iraq.

The WTC truck bomb attack was on February 26th, 1993, 37 DAYS after Clinton took office. Given the fact that so many GOPers have tried to pin 09-11-01 on Clinton, over 200 days after Bush took office, it seems a little unfair to saddle him with this, but what the hey, let’s just say thats

One for Clinton…

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.

Two for Clinton…

A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500.

Three for Clinton…maybe he should have invaded Grenada. Oh, wait! He should've invaded Iraq.

They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.

No, America did not respond with cruise missile attacks. Bill Clinton responded with cruise missile attacks. And the right-wing, who was busy trying to impeach him for having sex, screamed and screamed that he was wagging the dog, and that he should stop. Eventually the Red House and the Red Senate and the Red Supreme Court and the Red MSM made him stop. And the score of “coddling terrorists” is:

Four for Clinton…

The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.

I think it is important to note here that no less than three terrorist attacks were planned for America to coincide with Y2k. Since Reno and Clinton were actually interested in thwarting terror, leads were promptly followed up; one investigation led to another plot; it’s investigation led to yet another plot. And keep in mind that Louis Freeh, who it should be obvious hates Clinton, had the spare resources to send HUNDREDS of federal agents out all over the world to try find any woman to say that she’d ever slept with Bill Clinton. They spent 70 MILLION taxdollars investigating Whitewater, and all they found was a bob-job, and the republican-controlled Senate declared him NOT GUILTY.

We should subtract three from Bill’s column, but let’s give the GOPers the benefit of the doubt.

Five for Clinton… Bush was elected 20 days later. Maybe Clinton didn’t want to leave Bush with a war like Bush Sr. left him. But one thing is certain: the Bush administration had the same intelligence reports that Clinton did.

Ashcroft told the acting director of the CIA that he “didn’t want to hear about” terror threats; he was more interested in cancer patients in California smoking medicinal marijuana and terminally ill people in Oregon having their doctors help them die in peace. Our national security was basically a “faith-based” issue: We are holy, so God won’t let us be attacked.

Bush was focused like a laser beam on tax cuts and SDI. After seven months of "work" he started an unprecedented, unheard-of MONTH-LONG vacation in August, 2001, ignoring reports of “Bin Laden Determined To Strike In US.” We KNEW the WTC was a target (remember what happened right after Clinton took office?) And we knew that planes COULD be used as missiles. And then…

And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America.

Well, you skipped one: April, 2001, Bush hands Taliban in Afghanistan 43 MILLION of YOUR dollars.

And don’t forget the “palestinian” Islamochristian, Sirhan Sirhan, who single-handedly elected Richard Nixon. And the Pakistanis burning down our embassy in 1979 (two for Carter…)

Now let’s see here, Catherine…. Eight for Reagan, five for Clinton. In fact, Reagan scored higher than Clinton and Carter combined. And your point was?

The President is right on when he says we are engaged in a war. I think we have been in a war for the past 23 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough.

You are exactly right in this case. We are engaged in a war. And I argued daily with the peaceniks and pollyannas on campus that MY President, President Bush, was RIGHT to glass the Taliban. I even considered trying to re-enlist (thank God I didn't; I could've wound up wasting my life in Iraq.)

Too bad that all our troops were sent to Iraq to MAKE MORE terrorists instead of going to Afghanistan to get Bin Laden. And Bush won’t even cut off Saudi Arabia, or punish them in the least way. To the contrary, he’s worked to help them join the WTO, let them kick all of our troops out of Saudi, and now has agreed to let an additional 10,000 Saudis into America as students. Why?

We’ve wasted a quarter-trillion dollars to set up a Sharia Iran- clone in Iraq, and don’t have enough cash to protect our border? While statistically speaking, THOUSANDS of OTMs have snuck in?

Yes! We SHOULD set up a real, honest-to-god, effective, border fence with Mexico. If Nancy Pelosi or Hitlery don't like it, DO IT ANYWAY! Does Hilary or Nancy have Bush by the ear, telling him what to do? I thought he always did what was right?

The fact is, the cheap-ass farmers and cheapskate contractors WANT all those cheap laborers pouring in. THEY LOVE IT. And THEY do have Bush's ear.

AND! Bush is the biggest Dhimmi in DC., and you all know it.

You all saw him stand on the WTC rubble with the grinning idiot skeleton of a fireman and shout into the bullhorn that we were going to get Osama dead or alive.

You all saw him kiss, hug, and HOLD FREAKIN’ HANDS(?!?!) with the King of Sodomy Arabia.

You all saw him let the Mullah speak FIRST at the 9-11 remembrance day, just weeks after 9-11. You all saw him hold the Itfar Ramadan Glut-Fests at the White House, just days after 9-11.

You all have seen him gush fawning praise over Islam, not the least of which was at the most-recent SOTU address.

You all saw him brag, just days ago, that for the FIRST time a Koran is in the White House library.

You all know that he’s sent Karen Hughes and Condi Rice to the Middle East to tell Muslims how much we love them.

My dear conservative friends, wake up! You're being had.

kj

fanorollins@yahoo.com

PS… let’s re-run those numbers, shall we?

Bush Jr: 3,000 Americans killed on 9-11, 2000 killed in Iraq War.
Clinton: 2 FBI agents, 6 in WTC truck bomb, 7 in Riyadh, 19 Airmen in Khobar Towers. Nice try with the 224 killed in the embassies, but the fact is, only 12 of them were Americans, so let’s call it 12. And 17 Sailors on the Cole.

2+6+7+19+12+17= 63. Wow. By comparison, Clinton did a damn good job of protecting Americans, even while he was fighting the GOP, Ken Starr and his unlimited budget, the Media, the Supreme Court, AND a sizable chunk of the chickensh*t DemocRats who stabbed him in the back. (Remember how the GOP LOOOOOVED Senator Byrd when he called on Clinton to resign? LOL.)

Compare that with Bush Sr.’s 300-odd troops killed defending Saudi Arabia from Saddam Hussein (we won’t count the 10,000 killed by “Gulf War Syndrome” since then, but we could.)

And I won’t add up Reagan’s numbers, because he the Marine Barracks massacre puts him way over Bill: 241, almost four times Clinton’s TOTAL. (And remember how he reacted? “You can run, but you can’t hide.” Oh, they ran alright… all they way back to Damascus where they bragged that “Two jihadi brothers have defeated the mighty United States Marine Corps!” (BTW, someone “forgot” to mention that Marine Corps Colonel they caught around that time. They hung him and made a movie and sent it out to the media, remember? So add another to Reagan’s slots.)

Just like when in New York young muslim's stomped on an American flag in the streets of New York, and sang Alla u Akbar, and onlookers did nothing. While the defamers of the flag relished in the fact that they could do so, because of American so called "loopholes." This was not a loophole, and get it right, it is the right all should have to express speach. Derogatory or not, you have freedom, and if I had seen it first hand, the flag would have been raised and there would have been one hell of a fight, for freedom!

Gary:

Bribos is a little over the top there, but he is referring to a book that I read many years ago, The Secret Team, by Fletcher Prouty. The book describes the infiltration of the military and other government agencies by the Central Intelligence Agency, how the positions are created, funded, hidden, promoted, and forgotten. As I recall, it used a lot of examples from the vietnam war era, as it was published in the early 70s.

My uncle saw me reading that book shortly after I bought it. He "borrowed" it, read it, and told me it was a very good book, that the author exactly described the "manning" process of inserting a person in an organization chart. Since he had been a colonel in the Air Force, had worked on the Manhattan project, and claimed to know several people who worked for the Agency, I figured he knew what he was talking about.

I came across that book again when I was cleaning out my garage a few months ago. I think I may have reluctantly thrown that book away. Dammit!

Texan~ gotcha. The coincidence was really something tho- in the book I am reading they had just mentioned that Kennedy had been killed by 'The Society.' But I suppose some minds are just Not original...

You neglected to include Magadishu in your little analysis. Remember Black Hawk down? Chalk another one up for Clinton. OBL later claimed this was his big inspiration, as it proved that the US military would surrender quite easily.

Slick Willie had numerous opportunities to bag OBL but chose not to. The Sudanese authorities wanted to turn him over before he left for Afganistan. The CIA had numerous opportunities to take him out with missiles from drones but was not allowed to do so because there might be collateral damage. Too dangerous...might take out a bunch of other camel humping jihadists with him.

As far as Wag the Dog - never saw the movie, but I hear Dustin Hoffman played a great Slick Willie. No X rated action though, so most of his fans didn't see it. The movie was undoubtedly produced by the usual leftist Hollywood types, so I think it is a bit of a stretch to pin this on the "right wing".

I believe this is what you are looking for below. I've given you the Jewish version first for comparitive purposes so you can see what the corrupt falsifying Jews did to the word of G_d.

"When you have a Jewish friend who feels that killing someone is justified, remind your friend to think about the following passage: One person was brought forth at the time of creation, in order to teach us that one who destroys a human soul is regarded as though he had destroyed a whole world, while one who preserves one soul within humanity is regarded as if he had preserved a whole world." (Mishnah Sanhedrin, IV, 5)

When you have a Muslim friend who feels that killing someone is justified, remind your friend to think about the following passage: " We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading corruption throughout the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people." Notice the the statement before she made her point. Classic defence against knee-jerk accusations. One cannot speak truthfully about the realities of Islamic terror and the need to close the border without being branded a racist.
