"By killing Jordanians here in Jordan...they did something that not even a Jew would do"

Moderate Jordanians express their moderate indignation at Zarqawi for killing other Muslims in moderate terms. "Jordanians turn against al-Qa'eda leader over bombings," from the Telegraph, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Sympathy for al-Qa'eda's leader in Iraq turned to hatred in his home town yesterday as clan members and ex-neighbours dismissed the justification for the Amman bombings....

"I feel ashamed of what he did in the name of Islam," said Moussa Rashid Khalayleh, a senior member of Zarqawi's Khalayleh clan.

"I am not ashamed of what his group is doing fighting the US occupation of Iraq, but killing civilians, killing Muslims here in Jordan is shaming."...

In Zarqa, Munder Moomeni, a 38-year-old former soldier who lives next to Zarqawi's house, 13 Ramzi Street, described his former neighbour as "a bastard".

"By killing Jordanians here in Jordan, civilian Jordanians going to a wedding, they did something that not even a Jew would do," he said....

The Moomeni family said they had no dealings with the remnants of the Zarqawi family still living in the two-storey house at No 13. A woman answered the intercom although she politely but firmly told The Daily Telegraph to go away.

"Don't hang around here much longer", other neighbours advised. "They will start throwing stones at you." Some residents remembered the young man who was born there in the late 1960s but who did not immediately adopt religion.

He was known as Ahmed Fadel Nazal Khalayleh and some described him as a loutish teenager. "He was a bit of a thug, always walking around carrying knives," said Amer Hassoun, a 35-year-old man whose parents came to Zarqa as Palestinian refugees.

"But then he went away to Afghanistan and when he came back he had become very religious. If he came down the street today, people would want to see him because they are curious. But he is not regarded as a saint around here."

Interesting. He became very religious and simultaneously became violent. They are angry with him not because he killed civilians, but because he killed Muslim civilians. No one in the mainstream media seems to know or care why these things are so.

I don't have any sympathy. If this was a crowded hotel filled with infidels they would have been dancing in the streets.

Let em get a taste of their own terrorism.

I only pity the real folks that honestly want to live together in peace with all others.

But it is very telling how they only seem to pity muslims that died and directly thinking how only Jews could do evil deeds.

The Jordanians quoted here have no problem with Muslims killing Muslims, with Muslims killing Christians, with Muslims killing Jews, with Muslims killing Hindus, with Muslims killing Buddhists, or with Muslims killing atheists or agnostics. They only have a problem with Muslims killing them. How humane is that?

For the media to point out this contradiction would be to directly challenge to the fallacious concept of the Moderate Moslem.

And doing that would be verboten, because the Moderate Moslem concept is precept -- and indeed the central tenet -- to the course of mass suicide-by-Islam we are so vigorously pursuing.

Until the inherent immoderacy of Islam is fully exposed, discussed, understood, and publicly agreed to, such self-destructive stupidity is inevitable and, despite your implication, entirely unsurprising.

"Something not even a Jew would do"? Get the message there? Islam teaches pathological hatred of Jews.

I've not problem with the Jordanian leadership. There moderate, pro-US and good for torturing islamists. King Hussein had a Jewish hooker that he was crazy about it I've been told. The problem . . . there sitting on a tinder box. In a region full of crazies, there demographics are changing once again. First the Palestinians wrecked the country . . . now the Iraqis. Lets put it this way, I wouldn't back a life insurance policy for the royal family in Jordan or the head of Pakistan(whose brother is an MD in Chicago with Jewish friends . . . Oi vai . . . wouldn't insure him either). I would agree with Bastard Bin Laden in this regard: the US shold support the "moderate" arab regimes such as Jordan for many reasons . . . intel and the all important use of their friendly jail facilities for "questioning" terrrorist suspects with CIA listeners on hand. The Jordanian royals need us in turn for they have no oil or cash. That our support of these "moderates" causes 'tension' within the arab world is a reality . . . thats a good thing. As an aside, I've been told by a Jordanian born Palestinian that he can hardly understand the current King of Jordan's arabic. One more rant . . . I couldn't believe when I heard the 'scholar' General Wesley Clark say on the tube that there were no attacks in Jordan prior to the US invasion of Iraq! How about when King Hussein murdered 3000 PLO thugs in the famous Black September period. How about the first hijacking of an airliner in Jordan. What a dunce.

Get a load of that nice Jewish lady who was on Jordanian TV confessing her part in the suicide bombing. The wife of the husband and wife team didn't seem that broken up over her husbands exploding. Funny, she doesn't look Jewish, but it must have been one of those Sephardic jews from Yeman. I wonder how the immans will spin this. Jihadist living isn't easy. Look at the burka clad suicide godess . . . she's 35 . . . looks like 65. She needs a suicide bomber makeover.

This bombing leaves open the distant possibility that Islam might destoy of weaken itself mortaly.

Here's hoping.
