Just in case anyone is still laboring under any illusion that the Thug-In-Chief has any peaceful intentions whatsoever. Of course, he is still maintaining the facade. And no doubt hordes of useful idiots will believe him. From Reuters, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
TEHRAN (Reuters) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday said Iran would not halt its drive to produce its own nuclear fuel because it did not trust the West to guarantee a supply to feed its planned atomic power reactors.Speaking in Mecca, where he was attending an Islamic summit, Ahmadinejad said Iran's right to develop a full civilian nuclear program was non-negotiable.
"We are not allowed to negotiate on the principle of having peaceful nuclear technology," Iran's official IRNA news agency quoted him as telling a news conference.
European Union leaders warned Iran on Wednesday not to pursue work on machines able to make uranium fuel enriched to the grade used in nuclear bombs, saying such moves defied efforts to ease an international crisis over Tehran's atomic program.

If anything,in this global confrontation with Islamists, we have learned to take some people at their word.
President whackjob must be whacked. That includes Iran.
It is counterproductive to have the "pro western Iranian street" have us stay our hand if it exposes us to intolerable danger.
(the same stupid argument that says dont take out the extreme Islamists as it will offend the "moderate" mohamedans)

Fortunately, the IAEA is on the scene:
Mohamed ElBaradei, who is in Oslo to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, said outstanding nuclear issues with Iran would be clarified next year.
Yes, I do believe all will be crystal clear next year.

l wont hold my breath for the UN or the EU to make the Iranians stop working on their nuclear weapons!
it will have to be Israel and the US to do the dirty work as usual..

So fanactic wants to destroy Israel and he also wants the nuclear bomb.
They have oils, new customers (China, India, and all) soon they will be as rich as any arab kingdom. They are ordering Russian weapons massively.
Europeans still have no clue. Chamberlain looks like a visioneer in front of our current politicians.

don’t understand why the President of Iran is still allowed to come into the United States at all at this time since he openly advocates the destruction of the US and Israel. Last year the CIA thought that Iran was ten years away from having a deployable nuclear weapon, now ElBaradei says Iran is only “months” away. That means after Christmas, Iran will be weeks away and then in January or February, days away. Is the whole world sleepwalking towards Armegeddon? Or do we really believe George Bush when he says that he will “not allow” Iran to go nuclear. I got some news for President Bush, a nuclear-armed Iran is a foregone conclusion at this point.

tsweeney,
I spank my kids. I give them to the count of three before I do. Usually, I don't have to get past two before they get in line. Every so often they test me and I have to deliver on my threat.
Perhaps the same is true for nukes. It's been what, sixty years, since America enforced it's will with the ultimate weapon? Maybe a smoking hole where an Iranian city used to be is just what we need here. What do you think?
