This film has been a long time in the making and features not only Bat Ye'or and me, but Serge Trifkovic and others. I am very much looking forward to seeing it myself. "Pro-freedom film festival hits Hollywood: Event to screen movies celebrating 'the triumph of the human spirit'," from WND:
American Film Renaissance, the organization presenting patriotic and pro-America alternatives to typical movie fare, goes to the heart of the industry to host its first festival in Hollywood, Calif., next month.AFR was begun to encourage the production and promotion of more traditional-values oriented movies in the U.S.
"Conservatives have been on defense in this culture war going on 40 years," founder and President Jim Hubbard told WorldNetDaily last year. "No war has ever been won playing defense. … My notion is that we should go to the offense. That's the only way you can win any struggle."
The organization says it's dedicated to promoting "films that reflect free speech, free enterprise, rugged individualism, freedom of religion and the triumph of the human spirit."...

It is an established fact in the entertainment biz that the pipe is starved for content.
In other words, that broadcast and cable channels are desperate to get their hands on any viable programming to show. The proof of this is the constant re-runs, endless repetitions, and generally very low quality of network productions.

That said, if this documentary is not awful, and is also not re-run dozens of time on History Channel or Discovery Channel or somesuch... there has been (more) successful repression of free speech by our dear Moslem neighbors.

I'm sending a note to FOX asking them to screen the film. I hope that makes the Saudi shareholder of FOX shiver in his boots...er...sandals.

I am pleased to see a film like this was made and I will support it in any way I can.
After bookmarking the festival's website and obtaining a google alert for film related articles that follow . . .I hope this film becomes available for individual purchase on DVD or for online viewing like "Pallywood".
It would be of particular interest to learn how widely received and how profitable (pun intented)this film becomes .

I am eagerly looking forward to seeing this film, I hope it will be out on DVD. All of us should give it full publicity which it deserves.
Its high time to too that films of this nature are screened to warn the people in the West of the evil intentions of this sinister and despicable ideology Islam, masquerading as a 'religion of peace' - my arse.
I hope it will be freely available in all stores in the EU too.

Thanks for making the film I hope it will be available on line,so a discussion with Islam may be started.I knew next to nothing about Islam till I whent to university a number of years ago. Now I read all I can about this religion asit is so pivitolall around the world.

Which culture war is that? The internal one declared by the so called conservatives (not the conservatives of my own youth, but the radicals that infest the land)... they haven't been on the defense, but on the offense.. so now we have these radicals who self style themselves conservative using "turnspeak" like the Muslims do.
There is only one culture war that is worth the investment of any true patriot westerner and that is the culture war to preserve the west (both secular and religious) from Islam, and that one is not 40 years old.. in fact since 1940 ALL administrations (especially the Republicans) have been in bed with the Islamists... spell Reagan.. Afghanistan.Osama..Taliban here, or FDR and "King" Ibn Saud and USS Quincy.
