last night was truely a heartening display of Jewish-Christian Alliance! Anglicans, Messianic Jews, Zionists, a mutant Catholic (myself) - the gentleman standing next to me sounded very surprised "Are you Polish Jewish?"- he asked perplexed by my mysterious accent. "No, Polish Polish" - I replied much to his increasing bewilderment. Anyway I have proved my point holding a poster with "Israel Reaches For Peace. Iran Theratens War" written on it. The TV crew failed to turn up again (hmmm..wonder why). Nevertheless we got lots of publicity from the passing bikes, cars and buses. They cheered us with hooting and friendly hand-waving. Special thanks to the several black bus drivers, who gave us roaring applause (I just hope that there were no Muslim passengers aboard that would report on them or am I becoming paranoid?). There were prayers for Ariel Sharon, Israeli songs and a shofar blown by one of the participants. We chanted "Peace for Israel!" and "No Holocaust denial!" I wonder if they gave the "diplomats" across the road at the embassy some food for thought at their teatime."

Iran says it needs nuclear power because its running out of gas (even though they are sitting on top of 1/4 - 1/3 of the middle easts oil reserves)

Iran says its willing to open up everything to inspection then denies the inspectors entry ...

Iran says its for peaceful purposes then the Iranian thug In chief calls for Israel to be wiped off the map..

Iran then breaks all the seals basically flipping the UN the Bird and starts enriching more uranium..

Iran warns the west there will be serious consecuences if we attempt to intervene....

With all of this evidence the Europeans are just now trying to go to the UN...

I hate to say this but i think there a little too late...

And this NUT job believes he will hasten the 12th Iman if he starts world war IIII...

this is why i dont want ANY muslim nation to have nuclear weapons..

There is no question that Iran WILL obtain nuclear weapons within the next year or 2. Will U.N. sanctions work against the mad clerics of Iran? Not at all. You cannot use the logical actions of logical people against illogical people who follow an insane and illogical idea. The one and only way to stop the mad clerics of Iran from trying to bring on the 12th Imam is to appeal directly to the Iranian people to stop this madness. To this end the U.S. needs to enter into a treaty with Israel (if we haven’t already) where by if Israel is attacked by any nation or terrorist group with nuclear weapons the U.S. will massively retaliate inkind. Just like we gave Europe a nuclear umbrella in the cold war we should afford Israel the same protection. Before the Iranians can weaponize their bomb onto a missile, the president of the U.S. must go on all TV stations beamed into Iran and explain the repercussions of their government’s actions over and over and over again. The Iranians will be able to manufacture possibly 3 to 4 bombs in the 5 to 10 kiloton range (the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was about 15 kilotons). The over whelming response will come from at least 3 Trident subs in the Indian Ocean and 1 in the Mediterranean, each sub has 18 missiles, each missile has 10 independently targetable 450 kiloton thermonuclear warheads, let the Iranian people do the math. It MUST be made crystal clear to the Iranian people over and over and over again that terms of the treaty are upon a nuclear strike on Israel by Iran the U.S. will unquestionably and automatically launch (no different from what the Russians knew would happen if they struck Europe). It is up to the Iranian people to decide if they want to live or be vaporized with their government. Let us all pray (or if you are an athist, hope) the Iranian people chose to live. There is no other way to end this madness.

THE 72 VIRGINS

(And, unlike the 'Virgin Mary', this one is proof potent.)

72 ml (about 2.75 oz.) dark rum [or golden tequila]
72 ml. cranberry juice
72 ml. Campari
72 m. coconut milk [unsweetened]
2 bananas [as ripe as you like it]
72 small ice cubes.
1 Maraschino cherry [with stem] per glass.

Dump ice, cranberry juice and coconut milk in a blender and vigorously agitate the ice and liquids. Pause for 72 seconds (to let mixture breathe) then add in Campari and rum [tequila]. Mix again until ice is mostly crushed, then finally add bananas, in chunks, and mix it into a cheerful froth.

Pour drink into large martini glass, and garnish with cherry.

Serves 3 or 4, depending on size of thirst.

I'm arguying on the subject of Iran on a message board, mainly populated by british. the thread as now an incredible 56 page, and there, I'm seen as the evil baby-eating imperialistic zionist neocon. Quite the contrary than my reputation here.

Anyway, from what I can understand from the discussion I'm having there, the opposition of the West against a nuclear Iran is seen like this:

-The Americans are using the nuclear story as an excuse to prevent Iran to change its petrodollar to petroeuros
-The West is merely trying to find excuses to enforce a regim change of the peaceful inhabitant of Iran.
-We have no legitimate right to protect our interests, defined as the statu quo
-We have no legitimate right to police the world
-We have no legitimate right to uphold international law, as in iranian nuclear research are in direct breach of article I and II and V of the anti-proliferation treaty
-If any country is to act against a nuclear Iran, it must be under the U.N, and it must be AFTER a nuclear fallout, because, apparently, in international relations, countries benefit from the presumption of innocence.
-the Americans are just scumbags
-Bush is a war criminal.
-The West is the puppet of the Jews.

Well, I'm about to give up on them. They're just a bunch of biased ethno-masochists.

Given that Iran is operating inside of hardened underground facilities, any attack must use nuclear bombs.

well, Bush isnt due up for re-election, so i would guess he'd want his legacy in the history books to be the toppling of the Iranian regime.

in other words - there's really nothing holding him back.

if you google around you'll find that a full F-16 squadron is being redeployed right now to whats euphemistically termed "south west asia" - in other words, the middle east.

The aircraft carrier Reagan is on its way to the Gulf as well.

And the Israeli nukes are primed and ready to go - well, ok , i made that one up. Wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt the case however.

If you look at it from an Israeli point of view, they are staring Holocaust part 2 in the face - its completely obvious to them. Pity the EU's Solana has got its head so up its arse. Negotiations wont work - period. Threats of utter and complete anniliation will. Its time to stop dicking around.
