Weapons, terrorist paraphernalia. In a mosque! Where is the Muslim outrage? Why aren't the peaceful Muslims protesting this? Can somebody take some time out from torching a Danish embassy in the name of peaceful Islam in order to register disapproval of a mosque being used in this way? The world is watching. Police risked offending delicate religious sensitivities by raiding the Finsbury Park mosque, but their actions were justified by the mini-arsenal of weapons, terrorist paraphernalia and forged passports they found inside....The cache of equipment included chemical warfare protection suits, or NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical) suits, as they are technically known. They were found together with three blank-firing pistols, a stun gun and CS spray. Officers also found a gas mask, handcuffs, hunting knives and a walkie talkie.
Detectives believe the equipment was being used in terror training camps located somewhere within the UK. It is not clear where these were, but speculation in the past has centred around remote parts of Wales, in particular the Brecon Beacons, and national parks such as those in the Highlands, Yorkshire Dales or Lake District.
"Our assessment was that this was material that had been used in training camps, probably here in the UK," a senior police source said.
Some of the material was found close to Hamza’s office, although police sources admit they could not directly connect them to the preacher.
Police also found more than 100 stolen or forged passports and identity documents, laminating equipment, credit cards and chequebooks hidden under rugs and concealed in ceiling spaces. One officer recalled pulling down part of a ceiling to find passports raining down on him.

Can you imagine the uproar if this cache was found in a church? This just proves that islam is the opposite of Christianity.

What specious logic is this? The police action - based, as it no doubt was, on some form of intelligence - would have been perfectly justified even if nothing had been found.
See also the puff piece at the BBC on how a group presumably mde up of the "good guys" now have control of the Finsbury park mosque, having vanquished the evil supporters of Hook Hamza.
On a lighter note, how far from the Finsbury park mosque to Hook's prison cell? Long way to dig with a spoon?

Anthony: You hit the nail on the head with your comments. It sounds as if the Finsbury Park mosque is a center of rather varied criminal activity; and its clergy are truly a bunch of godfathers in the Noo Joysey sense of the word.

It is a No Quarter War with Evil and not a time to play "Let's make another deal" for oil, drugs and a prayer rug.
The Sword of Islam and the Quran are not made to change their camel stripes nor Muslims change alliance to sand merchants, Mo and Allah, it's kind of tattooed on their brains and back sides from birth.
So, the House is burning!! and the only ones being fooled or sick, is liberal us trying to compromise, make a deal with imported sand merchants preaching evil in the very green British house, only Brits should live-in.

The step-'n-fetching when moving into these mosques (bunkers) is going to get police and soldiers killed, or evidence destroyed. I can't imagine a police tactical unit or a SEAL team stopping to put on Infidel Cootie Booties to avoid spreading polytheist germs in what amounts to military headquarters.
I wrote a letter to a Guardian columnist some years ago mentioning the Finsbury Park Mosque as a terrorist training camp...YEARS ago. How many people must die for political correctness? The mosque in Najaf should have been flattened with Al-Sadr in it.
We're losing the clash of civilizations falling for the now-old mosque-as-HQ trick every time.

Islam is war, thus mosques are armories.
Islam is not a religion, it is a highly adaptable theocracy government with an integral military component that by default conscripts all its able-bodied adults on an as-needed basis.

Its beginning to look like the poster Musollini is right, there is about 100 moderate muslims in the world, and they are afraid to talk, since the rest of the mosque is armed and has passports to flee after they are murdered, if they were to talk. Worst case scenario, they get to Yemen where they are arrested by an international terrorist police force. They get tried, go to jail, for a little while and then they walk out the front door the prison after true-believers bribe the guards. They then have a party for the killer, since he/she dispatched a religous traitor.
Mosques are terrorist training bases and arsenals?! Who would have ever guessed such a peaceful up-standing bunch would be using a holy place for such un-holy things? It must have been an isolated event. But then it is understandable, eventhough guns are illegal in England, Muslims need an AK 47 to properly practice their religon. Thus right to bear arms, is part of religious freedom. The bigger the gun, the more religious and pious you are. Yipes, no wonder they were so worried about having nuclear detectors driving past the mosques.

Unless we know for sure what these pious Muslims intended to do with these sundry impliments and items, it would be unfair, nay, it would be Islamophobic for us to draw any conclusions... The Mayor of London should quickly assemble a multicultural panel to discuss the imperatives of the oppressed Muslim immigrant -- we need to explore why these people were driven to do this, to arm themselves (was it intolerance? -- racism? We NEED to find out..) We need to understand them more and better... We need to reach out -- Why have we failed them? What did we do to make them feel the need to forge passports, and store arms and WMD jumpsuits!?!
OH! It must have been something HORRIBLE we've done, to force them to such desperate measures... We MUST find out!! We must do something to make amends!

can anyone confirm if the story i have heard that on the BBC radio today they interviewed people who stated the following?
Some imam notified the police when the guy was a student of his that this guy was dangerous and needed monitoring but nothing was done.
that some moslem blew their cover as an infultrator at the mosque because the authorities were informed of the goings on and criminal activities but did absolutely nothing.
I wonder if the authorities "need" islam in order to get an excuse to oppress the public with i.d cards and survelience and other big brother totalitarian stuff - detention without evidence or trial, etc.
we don't need protecting from terrorists as much as we need protecting from incompetent security services and the government.
as far as i can see they propose a lot of totalitarian laws and kill a brazilian to protect us from terrorism...

Yes, there would certainly be an uproar alright. No newspaper in the world would be afraid to run this story, front page, for days. They'd have no problems writing how Christianity is violent and hateful, quoting things out of the Old Testament for proof, pointing to the Crusades as more proof, abortion clinic bombings, the IRA, etc. No link would be too tenous. Our paper here has an article about that vile Masri getting a whole 7 years (!) for "race-hate", but as I read the article, no mention of the weapons, terrorist paraphenalia or passports. We wouldn't want to paint Islam in a bad light, now would we? Despite the years of proof. Like one of the judges in that case, who naively says: "I do not make the mistake of thinking that you represent Islamic thinking generally". LOL!
This just proves that islam is the opposite of Christianity
And until the world wakes up to this obvious fact, and continues to give Islam a free pass as "one of the world's great religions", we will remain under threat.

Maybe polititions are having large multi million dollar/pound deposits secretly transfered into Swiss bank accounts by certain arab countries to go softly softly.
I mean common sense tells the average Joe like most of us here that something isnt right and should be done, but offensive muslims seem to be getting their own way time after time while the rest of us are told to bend over and cop it sweet.
It's time for people power, it worked in the Philippines against corrupt Marcos government but now things have changed, as soon as someone stands up to start the ball rolling, they are soon silenced and locked up.
You can bet as soon as those in authority lose their power they will immigrate to some safe country like Australia or New Zealand who dont take shit from muslims then live happily ever after with their arab blood money.
