Alas, our love affair was short-lived. From our newly inaugurated "both sides missing the point" department and the Sydney Morning Herald:
THE United States lags dangerously behind al-Qaeda and other enemies in getting out information in the digital media age and must update its old-fashioned methods, Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said yesterday.Modernisation is crucial to winning the hearts and minds of Muslims worldwide who are bombarded with negative images of the West, Mr Rumsfeld told the Council on Foreign Relations.
The Pentagon chief said today's weapons of war included email, Blackberries, instant messaging, digital cameras and web logs, or blogs.
"Our enemies have skilfully adapted to fighting wars in today's media age, but . . . our country has not adapted," Mr Rumsfeld said. "For the most part, the US Government still functions as a five and dime store in an eBay world," Mr Rumsfeld said, comparing old-fashioned US retail stores and the online auction house.
Mr Rumsfeld said military public affairs officers must learn to anticipate news and respond faster, and good public affairs officers should be rewarded with promotions.
The military's information offices still operate mostly eight hours a day, five or six days a week while the challenges they face occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mr Rumsfeld called that a "dangerous deficiency".
Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy immediately criticised Mr Rumsfeld as missing the point.
"Clearly, we need to improve our public diplomacy and information age communication in the Muslim world," Senator Kennedy said in a statement. "But nothing has done more to encourage increased al-Qaeda recruitment and made America less safe than the war in Iraq and the incompetent way it's been managed.
"Our greatest failure is our policy."...
No, Mr. Kennedy, so far our greatest failure is the non-comprehension of jihad warfare at the top levels of our government and among our policy making elite.

"The number of Muslim extremists is very small -- the vast majority of Muslims are moderates!"

He also lashed out at the US media, which he blamed for effectively halting recent military initiatives in the information realm - such as paying to place articles in Iraqi newspapers - through an "explosion of critical press stories".
So why did Rummy and his fellow Dhimmis cave in to the MSM and halt the military's information initiatives? Who is calling the shots around here anyways?
Why didn't Rummy say,
"Yes we are engaged in a battle for the hearts and minds of the Muslim world. An essential part of that battle is to counter the propaganda and disinformation spread by the terrorists. We will counter their tactics with a campaign of our own."
You'd think we were back in the Clinton era where every policy decision was based on the outcome of a public opinion poll. The MSM isn't / shouldn't be determining policy. They are just agreived whiners so overwhelmed with their own infantile self-importance that it has clouded their obligation to support the battle that is truly being waged. Once the MSM detects waffling / weakness they pounce on it like sharks on a feeding frenzy. The MSM serves the interests of the Islamic terrorists while claiming to be speaking for and protecting the rights of American citizens. Come on Rummy get a grip on it and ignore the MSM. Stick to your guns and don't cave!!!

There is little doubt that the West will be able to defeat Islam once all-out war begins. It's not our defeat that is the likely outcome of such myopia to Islam as exhibited by Rumsfeld and others: it's the tragic numbers of lives lost and maimed.
We will eventually win: the only question is, how many of us will have to die and be maimed in the process? As long as PC idiocy reigns, the numbers, on the road to our eventual victory, will be tragically, horrifically higher than need be.

It is doubtful that we will get politicians to ever learn. The bigger problem is getting the general populace to understand the danger. We cannot teach the perils of Islam in the public school, however there should be no problem with the church taking on this task, but they take the proverbial "head in the sand" approach. Believe me, I have tried. There must be some way we can teach people how to read the Koran and understand it. It is not that difficult. Get a good basic book about Muhammad, Maxine Rodinson's will do, and then put the Koran suras in chronological order. Do it like that and it actually becomes very interesting. You can see how this whole thing came about, but the problem is getting people to try it.

I am so tired of this notion -- the "winning the hearts and minds of Muslims worldwide" notion -- the preposterous notion --
This blockheaded notion is so utterly fantastical, and yet it is still repeated over and over again...
Muslims will NEVER permanently discard the nature of Islamic Jihad in favor of a more Western friendly consensus in Islam... This would be tantamount to eschewing much of what constitutes Islam, and which has formed its most potent and effective means of propagation... that is, JIHAD.
So if it's axiomatic that you can't wash Jihadi out of the Muslim, the idea of "winning the hearts and minds of Muslims worldwide" is demonstrably insane...
The US has spent over 200 BILLION US dollars in Muslim lands in the last 5 years, much of which has been spent to build up infrastructure, improve health, build mosques (yes -- US taxpayers are paying to build mosques in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan!) hospitals, schools, and police academies and stations...
Yet, as has been made clear by the latest cartoon absurdity, the Muslims can jettison any feeling of warmth towards us in a heartbeat -- in fact, one might observe that, despite WHATEVER we may ever do for them and for their benefit, the Muslim is simply waiting for the opportunity (real or imagined) to trash the whole deal and begin rampaging in abject hatred again -- How long between the expenditure of $2 Billion to aid Pakistan and Indonesia after their respective natural disasters... how long did it take before US flags were being burnt by hundreds of thousands in both of those Muslim lands, or calls for our death and extermination in both of those Muslim lands?
A mere number of months respite from the calls for our extermination.
Let's face it, people.
Muslims are taught to hate us from their earliest childhood. Whether we are nice or mean to them, they will hate us now, and hate us forever. I am tired of seeing any money flow towards them from us, any assistance flowing from us to them, or anything which we do to improve their lot... All we will ever get in return from Muslims is heartache, terrorism, and feral spider, wolf, shark, and snake bites... Sometimes when we least expect it...
Let's also face it, people. Muslims don't belong in our lands. They belong in Muslim lands where they can indulge in their cult of hatred and ignorance to their heart's content.... Let them wallow in the filth their religion has created -- Let's stop them from bringing that filth to our domain -- it isn't welcome!

It's not hearts and minds that have to be won, but the guaranteed survival of Western civilization. Lessons learned by Pelayo, Charles Martel, Jan Sobieski, Don Juan, Winston Churchill, John Quincy Adams and many other Westerners over the past 1,300 years have to be re-learned by the Western leaders of the 21st century starting from today. The hearts and minds of 90% of Muslims cannot be won by infidels, and that basic fact has to be chiselled into the minds of gullible Westerners and their leaders. Islam must be undermined and eroded if our civilization and way of life is to survive. The truth must be told about Mohammed and his religion cum death cult. It doesn't matter if we see riots and the like 1,000 or 1,000,000 times worse than the furore we saw over those cartoons. The boil must be lanced and the poison squeezed out NOW, even if the pus will be enough to fill a dozen oil tankers. Demographics are on the cusp of working disastrously against us. Islamism will be unstoppable in 50 or 100 years time under current demographic trends. What chance will a Western world, top heavy with 60-plusses and outnumbered 10 to one or worse, have against a fanatical death cult whose followers are overwhelmingly youthful? Because that will be the state of affairs the West will face at the turn of the 21st/22nd centuries. And it will be the world today's toddlers will see if they live to 'celebrate' their 95th birthdays.

America is loseing it war against terrorism and it war against Drugs, they are both a waste of taxpayer money. So far we sent close to 1 trillion dollar on the war in Iraq. It like useing the armies to fight the Marfic(orginate crime) the Marfic will just bride army officer's or dicredit army officer's, no need to murder then set up than rape trap and have then accue and convict of rape.
The big mistake was our illegal invasion of Iraq without UN approval.
Going to war against than Religion like Islam which is than peaceful religion. When Islam took over the Holy Land they military was weak compare to the Persian and Eastern Roman Empire and yet they won victories because God gave them victory. Our military is tried down now in two places unable to the occup phases and the Heart and Mind of the people of the area. Than unable to be pull out without saying we where defeated.

All the efforts of the Muslim world will be to CONVINCE us that they are NOT indeed at war with us- through the work of countless Muslim organisations, expert taqiyists and greasing of palms of academia, and our own treacherous MSM.
So long as they succeed they will continue to advance.
In the meantime all the technological advances that they have acquired from the West as booty will not serve them well as thay are totally incapable of organisation and Unity, but will if left to their own devices self destruct and butcher each other instead of the infidel.
One only has to look at the structure and organisation of Muslim states - those without the infrastrucure of western or Indian slaves- to see this.
Islam will see to it that they descend into the hellish chaos they have lived in for centuries.
In the end there is nothing to fear fromn Islam on the outside and this is where it must be kept and isolated like a bird flu virus.

To win a heart, there has to be a heart.
And not just a closed Koran.
To win a mind, there needs to be a mind.
And not simply the dogmatically unthinking Hadiths.
Rumsfeld, and all the rest in the current power elite, left, right and middle, are as intellectually clueless about the tenets of Imperialistic Islam as a troupe of tapdancers hoofing it across an unmarked minefield.
Every sentence they spew about Muslim beliefs and aims is based on not-doing-their-strategic-Muslo-homework and stupidly buying into the Fifth Column's sweetness & light 'translation' of The Koran in Cliff Notes.
One of the worst things that Islam has forced upon us is the necessity of reading their dismal creed and the uninspiring life of their pedophile "prophet".
But it must be done.
By avoiding doing the basic intellectual groundwork for understanding Islam, our leaders are as foolish as the (top secret) radar operators at Pearl Harbor, who saw the incoming Japanese attack squadron on their screens that fateful Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, but thought it was 'probably' a flight military planes expected in from the U.S. later that day, and didn't bother to report this anomaly as anything serious to anyone higher up.
We now have fair warning, from the mouths of Muslim fanatics themselves, about what they intend to do:
-destroy the West and institute a permanent planetary prison with imams mullahs as the camp commandants.
Somehow, our daydreaming leaders see this data on their 'screens', but prefer not to 'interpret' it to be a serious threat.
Somebody's delusional, and, in this instance, it ain't the Muslims.

It's good to see our security services sharing intelligence. Our N. Ireland secretary Peter Hain confidently assures us the terrorists are simply "practising an extreme form of Islam".
So what is this "extreme form of Islam"; how's it differ from the peaceful type?
Some guesses:
Extreme praying - I'd imagine this is where the Muslim swan-dives onto a hard floor, head-first, bounces off his forehead and lands back on his feet - repeated at speed. Think of a pencil dropped at an angle onto a desk and you'll get the picture. Probably done 50 times a day, resulting in a trendy head-callus. Radical!
Extreme burqah-wearing - This entails wearing a sack so modest it renders the ultra-pious sister practically invisible, a la Predator, but complete with all the funky weaponary - 'cause even Muslims can't be peaceful all the time. Wildstyle!
Extreme diplomacy - Extreme Islam is 'alight' unto all nations, especially their flags, effigies of their leaders, their embassies and places of worship. Awesome!
Extreme 'Mass' - as in mass suicide, mass murder, mass hysteria, critical mass, mass outrage, and, umm, gang rape. Bodacious!
Maybe they have to snowboard a downhill slalom while shooting joos.

I watched the Rumsfeld interview, hoping to see a distinctly more enlightened discussion than the one earlier in the week, with the State Dept's "counter-terrorism guru" prattling on about the importance of our "partnerships" (i.e., our reliance on treacherous allies like musharref and mubarek). I came away disappointed and depressed.

The Arabs and Moslim arenot the backward people they where in the early 20th century while America is slowly going backward since the 1980's. Our public school now make a court case out of every dispin problem they have, than kid play hooked from school that matter is brough before than criminal judge which show how backward america is getting. When I was in public school the school principal decide just matter. Kids donot learm anymore in public school science, math, and real history of the world and how to understand and respect other culture.
America have a huge gangs problem along with a huge homeless people problen on a regulrate basic. Public
mortal isnot caught to our kid anymore, than the hight divorce rate in america with broken families.
Than when than Islamist government come the 180 million armed america no problen. First if I was to run than Islamist control america I would still allow non-moslim to drink alochol in bars, strip and topless cluds or bars, or at home. No driveing while drunk or public drinking in the street or park allow. Buses will take you to bars and other place to drink alchol and take you home safely or to than place where you can sleep it off. Non-moslim can watch they decary tv show with all it sex and violation. There will be no more murdering of homosexual(both male and female) by intolant christian for being gray. If than homosexual rapes or murder someone that than other matter than his crime will be purmish but not for being homosexual. Islam doesnot approve of homosexual but recognite they have God giveing right from being murder when they commit no real crime. Islam will end the free trade polcy of america that sent manufacting jobs oversea by raiseing traffic on foreige make goods and reindurustly america by builting factories again in america. Sorry, Rummy, but if you haven't heard of the 'Blog' yet, you're behind the times. It's one of the most significant "adaptations" of the media age. I'd say the information is out there, but the U.S. Federal Government refuses to learn, refuses to accept the facts and deliver them to the general public for fear of further inciting Islam. I'm starting to think that the intellectual hubris in Washington is so huge that we're all in danger of being lead like lemmings off the cliff.

One thing the Western world should do is to model its own defenses against Jihad on the offensive weapons, or instruments, of Jihad.
The "Wealth" weapon has been the most important. Therefore, diminishment of wealth available for the Jihad is an important goal of those engaged in a war of self-defense against that Jihad. Since Jihad is a collective duty of all Muslims at all times, and an individual duty of Muslims in certain circumstances (but the distinction for Muslims of "defensive" and "offensive" Jihad hardly matters, because their idea of what constitutes "defense" is based on a definition of "aggression" that includes any and every act of self-defense taken against the spread, and consquent domination, of Islam). Thus, lowering overall OPEC revenues, and ending all voluntary transfers of wealth from Infidels to Muslims, whether from nation to nation (foreign aid) or within nations (the huge sums that Infidel taxpayers are forced to spend on transfers of wealth -- free education, free medical care, housing subsidies -- given to millions of Muslims in the West, and the huger sums necessarily expended to monitor, for security reasons, Muslim populations).
Similarly, the weapon of demographic conquest, written about so openly in Muslim lands, and even by Muslims within Europe, requires a counter-weapon that seeks to halt and reverse such conquest. But if the Administration, if Rumsfeld himself, continue to insist that we are mainly fighting a "war on terror" and in that "war on terror" a group to which they give undue attention, that called "Al Qaeda" then they will remain unable unable to grasp the nature of the world-wide war inculcated by the texts of Islam, unable to take advantage of the divisions within Islam in order to demoralize and divide it, and perhaps begin to appeal to the resentments of non-Arab Muslims at the Arab supremacist ideology within Islam, and finally, will be unable to educate the Infidels, who so badly need education, on the nature and therefore on the menace, of Islam.

Dear Stranger that Hadith is the one which that senile scholar false wrote out it apart of test of student of Islamist Study to see it they will not take it at face value and believe it as fact, but investrate over Hadiths to see it is vaid at all. There over 100,000 Hadith's and not all might be vaid at all. To win the war on Terror we need to fill the heart of the Ummah with defeat and its mind with depression. The Ummah must see that the reason for their Jihad is worthless. Their idols must be destroyed and their temple must be leveled. This indeed, is the lesson of History.
The ummah must be shown that its Example For All Times is both unworthy and unable to help them. They must be shown that their Allah doesn't care what happens to them one way or the other. They must be shown that when the belief, the ritual, the Prophet and the Allah himself are put to test, those things they hold dear are worthless.
