It looks as if Khaled Masha'al's recent meeting with the Thug-In-Chief was most productive from the Iranian standpoint. Maybe Masha'al was just receiving his latest orders from his master. From the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to Yacob:
Details released by the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) on Tuesday revealed that graphics appearing on the Hamas website call for the destruction of Israel in a nuclear holocaust. On the website, a red Star of David is encased in a black rectangle which is then obliterated in a nuclear explosion.
Arabic words then appear saying "The Az A-Din Al Qassam website exclusively tells the whole story of the most elusive squad [to be uncovered] in the history of the Entity [Israel], in the city of Ramallah." Every few seconds there are repeated images of a nuclear explosion destroying the Star of David.

How could the pals nuke Israel off the map without severely damaging themselves? I know very little about fall out but it seems to me that as close as the two peoples are there would be problems for the pals.
Hopefully someone on here knows what would happen if Israel was nuked.

The way things are going, Hamas will be lucky to afford the website in a year, let alone the nuclear weapon.

Russia and France are behind it.
Palestinians only have RPG's and rocks.

Karim, please explain: why would muslims wish to destroy the Dome of the Rock? What is rational or logical in this?
Fireangel, this may help:

It looks like the palis are intentionally trying to get the funding cut off as soon as possible. The people will starve because they are incapable of producing anything other than suicide bombers, and they are not edible. The world will then blame the Israelis and the west and the un will most likely draft another resolution or two condemning us.

It's important with posts like this to SHOW the graphic in question or consider NOT posting such stories at all. Verbose postings describing graphics are weak at best -- if it's worth writing about, then the picture is worth far more than the words can possibly convey --
Without the picture, I think the Jerusalem Post (which also lacks the graphic they allege) and this site lay themselves open to an inference that such stories are little more than anti-Islamic propaganda...
With all the Muslim mayhem and hatred in the world, pictures convey the most to the masses...they aren't hard to find!

Big surprise - we knew Hamas was lying about wanting "peace"...hah!! Do you suppose they define peace differently than those who are sane? Maybe they define it this way:
P please
E extinguish
A all
C citizens
E EMMEDIATELY!
(Ok, so I cheated on immediately)

The original article is brief. The posters frequently hold forth longer than the articles about which they comment!

This may help also as the settings may be more familiar and easier for most of us to understand:

but Gary's suggested site is also extremely useful in this context.
Forgive me everybody, I just like prety toys - I'm a sucker for Google Earth also.

This should part of a greater concern. Unlike the Cold War where you mutually assured distruction which put the fear into both sides if nuke were lunched. We have an enemy that does not care about dying for a greater cause. The Muslim world already has nukes. Its only a matter of time before terrorist get a hold of these weapons or enough material to build a dirty bomb.

What a wonderful role model as a Mother..My Three sons....Not one, all three.
Mother sent sons on suicide missions,
becomes Hamas candidate:
Indicates value of terror in Palestinian society
By Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook - December 20, 2005
Transforming Palestinian society into one that unabashedly embraces terror has necessitated terror promotion at all levels of its social, educational and political infrastructure. One of the most important components has been the indoctrination of mothers to see the deaths of their sons as positive - even beneficial - for their sons and their family status.
The Palestinian Authority has accordingly made it a principle to honor not only suicide terrorists but also the mothers who actively send their sons on suicide terror missions, as well as the mothers who express joy after their sons' Shahada - Death for Allah.
A striking example of this glorification of mothers of terrorists is the case of Um Nidal, who has recently been chosen to be a candidate on the Hamas list in the upcoming Palestinian Authority parliamentary elections.
Um Nidal, who appears at right in an image from the Hamas website honoring the mothers of suicide terrorists, participated in a farewell ceremony in which she sent her 17-year-old son to die through terror, "ordering him not to return except as a shahid [martyr for Allah]." In an interview recorded after her son murdered five Israeli teenagers in a suicide mission, she explained that it was a mother's love for her son that motivated her to be joyous over his Shahada death. Um Nidal's parting ceremony and interview were filmed, and turned Um Nidal into a heroine and role model in Palestinian society.
To get a sense of the status in PA society of mothers who send their sons to die, note the way that even a self-proclaimed moderate like Sari Nusseibeh, president of Al-Quds University, addressed her during an interview.
Um Nidal (explaining why she sent her son to die): "My son is not dearer than Islam. I have offered him as a gift and a sacrifice to Allah, may he be glorified, and to His true faith...."
Sari Nusseibeh: "What comes to mind as I listen to sister Um Nidal is the verse 'Paradise is under the feet of the mothers'. Praise is due to this woman, and to every Palestinian mother..."
[Al-Jazeera, July 14, 2002,http://www.aljazeera.net/channel/archive/archive?ArchiveId=90809]
Um Nidal didn't stop at one son. She has proudly sent three of her sons to their death as terrorist shahids. Palestinian society has responded by dubbing her the "Al-Khansah of Palestine (see also http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/am/publish/article_15771.shtml). Al-Khansa is a a heroic figure from Islamic history who is glorified and revered solely for celebrating the deaths of her four shahid sons. The PA has underscored the importance of joyfully sacrificing sons for Allah in many different ways, including by naming five girls' schools - in Bethlehem, Jenin, Nablus, Khan Yunis and Rafah - after Al-Khansah, sending a clear message to young and impressionable girls about their future role as the mothers of shahids. Al-Khansah was also honored in the Palestinian Authority's recognition of International Women's Day in the form of a televised play and official sermon.
Because of her status as a role model, Um Nidal is once again in the news. She has been chosen to be a candidate on the Hamas list in the upcoming Palestinian Authority parliamentary elections. It is striking, and indicative of the very nature of Palestinian society as one that accepts and values terror as a way of life, that a woman could be chosen to be a legislator solely by virtue of her celebration of her son's terrorism and death.
To see two current Hamas election videos that give prominence to Um Nidal, and the video from Palestinian Media Watch archives of her sending her 17-year-old son to his death, as well as her interview after his suicide terror attack, click:

My thanks to Gary and Certiorari for the interesting links. Looks like to me that it would be the ultimate suicide bombing for the pals.
Oh and Gary good point about blowing the dome of the rock off the map not to mention one of islams holy cities. Will they do mecca and medina just for good measure?:)
"We don't need any holy cities" says the mullahs "so we'll blow them all off the map."
BTW How did Jerusalem become a muslim holy city anyway?

Muslims worldwide profess solidarity with the Palestinians but in truth only to the extent that the Paleos are dedicated to the destruction of the peoples of the land once known as Judea. Arabs & Persians and all the other Muslim infested countries despise the Paleos just slightly less than the Jews residing in their homeland of Judea. Destroying Judea with a nuke solves two problems at once: Jews and Paleos. What Jihadists fail to understand is that by destroying the people of Judea they sign their own death warrants on a scale of biblical proportion. Chritian, Budbhist, Hindu, Jew, and Atheist will unite against a common enemy.
Watch: I predict in the not too distant future (in our lifetime) you'll be reading on the internet and in MSM about the unexplained disappearnace of Jihadis on a small but ever increasingly large scale. The tides have shifted. There are those, who shall remain unnamed, that have taken a stand in defense of civilization.
Mark my words.

Katrina and the other recent troubles showed us the US can take a massive amount of punishment, not well grant you but we as a people would survive. Israel may not be able to shake off even a small nuke and survive as a nation state. I would think the US would make an example of any nation stupid enough to nuke one of our friends, at least I would hope so. Iran would be one large sheet of glass and anyone else who we think might have helped them. WWIII would be the result, the ulmah wouldn't be happen with our reponse and once one muslim nation went up, they attack us and we attack them etc, etc, etc. I don't mind the world ending so much, I was just hopeful it would have been for a better reason than ego. When you get down to it, any muslim leader nuking Israel would be a hero with the ulmah even if it resulted in the biggest BBQ this world has ever seen. Shame really, I'll miss the middle east, nothing exciting will be on the tv news when they are gone.

As an israeli i'm telling you this:
NO WAY would the pa's be able to nuke us(even in colleboration with iran or any other country).
Iran know that israel is a nuclear empire and if they have the cohones to try... they'll be wiped off...
p.s
israel has a missle called the hetz(arrow) and it's sole perpouse is to target missles in midair directed to hit us .... it's extremly accurate and fast and long rage too...

but don't worry ... Iran would be bommed as soon as Israel would get a specific information on a nuclear bomb bein' assmbled... we did it in Iraq in 82 and we can do it again...

Hello Gary,
You say "please explain: why would muslims wish to destroy the Dome of the Rock"?
Gary, despite the fact that this is where Mohd (pbuh) went to meet Allah at the Office ( and where he got good advice from Jesus (pubh) and Moses on the way up.
I guess losing the Dome of the Rock would be a small price for Islam to pay for the elimination of the jews...it's not been possible for 1400 years and will never be possible via cartoons or small arms fire...but a nuke?
Note that this is NOT my view...merely an educated guess on why losing the dome would be acceptable.

The Middle East would turn into a piece of glass from the 100 to 200 nukes that the latest reports say that Israel has.
This would allow the rest of the civilized world to quickly deal with the Muslim problem. Just send all of the Muslims back to rebuild the Middle East.

fireangel-
Mohammad, when he stole the monotheistic concept from the Jews, was first trying to impress and convert them to the idea that he was the next "prophet" in the Abrahamic line from Moses, etc. To schmooze the Jews (and gnostic Christians) in the Arabian neighborhood, he instructed his early followers to bow toward Jerusalem as a sign of machiavellian 'respect' and mock-unity.
After the children of Israel (and bretheren of Jesus) told him to stuff his bogus Koran up his wazoo (about the same time as he conquered the 'pagan' shrines of Mecca) he turned the direction of worship from Jerusalem back to 'cleansed' Mecca. But Jerusalam remained a potent, primal symbol.
Then, in the "Night Journey", an obscure Koranic image/concept in Islam, Mohammad, in sura 17, visits (in a dream, or supernatural flight) "the farthest mosque", which was originally more than likely a nearby Muslim site (since there was no "mosque" in Jerusalem at that time), a place named Al-Jiranah, 8 miles from Mecca.
However, to unite Islam with its purloined roots (The Torah and Talmud and odd scraps of the New Testament), later Muslims have reinterpreted this vague sura (and Hadiths that make it more specific) to mean "Jerusalem", since it was an ancient and holy city for monotheists, both Hebrew and Christian.
The imperialistic Muslims took over Jerusalem by the sword shortly after Mohammad died, and quickly built a mosque there, approximately on the rubble of the Roman-destroyed Jewish Temple of Solomon. Thus giving themselves a false imprimatur as members of the holy city's sacred lineage.
Since then, they've used this bogus "al-Aqsa" ("the farthest") mosque and the dream of Mohammad to forge a fake deed of ownership for the site and the entire city.
Like a burglar forging a counter-deed to your house, breaking in with a gun and calling a lowlife lawyer, then taking you to court for 1350 years in a dispute over who really owns your house, Islam's shamelessness is uncanny.

"BTW How did Jerusalem become a muslim holy city anyway?"
Envy... they want a real holy city.
Deep down Islam knows it's own "holy sites" are junk.

Yes, but they mean "nuclear holocaust" in the sense of a peaceful internal struggle nuclear holocaust.
