Surely they won't get back to what they were doing before they were arrested, only now in a spirit of revenge for their imprisonment, and likely more hardened in their beliefs as a result of prison dawa?

It only took 19 men to bring about 9/11; even if the vast majority of the pardoned jihadists were to go on to lead "normal" lives, it won't take many to wreak havoc wherever they decide to.

Algeria needs to call in Bashar Assad, the friendly optometrist, and have that case of myopia looked at. Then again, he'd probably say they're just fine-- heck, he can't read the writing on the wall, either.

The first day of an islamic intifada inside the US will invite the ire of millions of Armed Americans, who are GD sick and effing tired of being and playing nice under a failed system of PC. I do not want an islamic intifada. At the same time, I do not want a muslim holocaust. So, therein lies the choice. Intifada? or muslim Holocaust? muslims, it's up to you now. Bring on the intifada. Risk a holocaust. Your choice. I'm more of the lines of internment to protect your sorry asses against the backlash that will be visited upon you if you dare to strike us, and God forbid, our children.

The muslims seem to have hung their hat on our PC politicians and our PC rhetoric, with little or no thought into the American Constitution, specifically the 2nd Amendment. You may have disarmed Europe but you didn't disarm the US. The US will, once again, have to come to the aid of Europe and we'll succeed, again.

Oh, what a sad mistake the muslims make when the underestimate how much American parents love and protect their children, their homes, their lives, and their freedoms. A terrible miscalculation by muslims. You will bear the consequences of your imperialistic and utterly detestable idealogy. I won't protect you, nor will I cry for you. Algerian novelist Yasmina Khadra,(He's male despite the name)wrote an excellent book on the civil war "In the name of God" It is damning of the Islamic GIA and shows them as the barbarians what they are. As some of you might know their favorite targets were civilians who were butchered in many cases a la Ken Bigley.

In my country we give refugee status to these murdering bastards and Joe taxpayer foots the bill.

Brilliant. What a wonderful idea- I mean if fanatics like this can be re-habilitated into scoiety at the drop of a hat, why stop there?
Why not invite convicted paedophiles to teach primary school children? It's such a simple idea, why has no-one thought of it before.
By releasing this scum (lets face it, that's what we are dealing with here) back into society, any society, it's another step forward for them, and backwards for the rest of us.

As for the question of which University will give them scholarship?- Try Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent branch, England. Trust me from previous experience, they will fit in there like you wouldn't believe.

I recall that the internal intifada in Algeria was greatly exacerbated by the squelching of an election in 1992 by the then-incumbent government, which anticipated (correctly) that the Islamist factions would have won handily. Ah, democractic elections.. such a useful tool for the most fanatical adherents of Islam..if only our government would understand this.

I would bet at least half of these guys will be in France and Spain by next week joining the plot groups. Below are some updated thoughts from a previous post which seem still relevant. Apologies for repitition.

We see a world-wide propensity to have minimal sentences for terrorists convicted of the most heinous crimes, including mass murder. Sentences of 3 to 7 years are not uncommon in Europe, the US, and in Muslim countries. Only in a hand full of cases have any terrorists been given life sentences, and at least in the West, none have been given death sentences.

What is expected to walk out the door after 3-7 years in a prison environment with other Muslims, reciting the Koran, praying 5 times a day, and listening to cutthroat imans spreading their poison?

Certainly not a “reformed”, “moderate” Muslim ready to play nice for life in an infidel society. We will be releasing a killer, onr inthis case 2000 killers to again ply their trade, only now with the additional potential collaborators and networks set up in prison.

The legal and counter intelligence systems in every country must devise a uniform international system to keep these throat-slitters permanently corralled. Physically constraining them for life would be the most desirable societal outcome, since electronic constraints can be easily defeated by determined Muslim terrorists with their vast support system.

Society must realize that Muslim terrorists cannot ever revert to we regard as normal behavior – their brains have been eternally washed with the vile Islamic hate for non-Muslims that oozes from their Koran and jihad history; there is no hope of overcoming that. They are like pedophiles, they cannot change their mental baggage. They are a permanent danger to the human race. Imprisonment does nothing to change the natural tendency of rattlesnakes, minks, or terrorists. If you let them out they will bite you again.

Secondly, the rules of evidence in various countries need to be drastically minimized when it comes to suspicion of terrorism. The slightest indication of connection in any way with jihad, or sympathy with jihad should be all that needs to be proven, and all counter intelligence should be admissible without disclosing sources. The legal systems of the West were never designed to handle such massive subversion as threatened by the Islamic invasion.

We have to admit that we face some in Islam of the wiliest beasts alive wearing human skin. They will take every advantage of PC and legal loopholes with the help of the ACLU and the raft of Communist front groups who are blinded by their hate-America black hole. Their support for these killers is baffling. They are useful idiots to the Muzzys and will be the first to feel the Koran’s dictate to strike the neck of the infidels, if sharia law ever comes about.

Western governments must adopt a uniform sentencing procedure requiring life imprisonment for terrorists without possibility of parole.

Places should be set up that are large enough to round up thousands of terrorists for permanent incarceration. Not Devil’s Island necessarily. its just that they can never be allowed in open society again. However, no Korans, no Imans, no prayer rugs, and no communication with the outside world. Make it a paradise, without the 72 whores. Well, maybe Devil’s Island. Is it available?
