Frankie Avalon he ain't. "Egyptian Performer Sha'ban Abd Al-Rahim Sings Against Denmark: 'When You All Meet in Hell, the Flames Will Burn Your Faces,'" from MEMRI:
Egyptian singer 'Abd Al-Rahman Al-Rahim first made headlines with his pre-9/11 hit, "I Hate Israel, I Love Amr Moussa." He followed up with an album featuring the song "Hey People, It Was Only a Tower and I Swear by God that They [the U.S.] Are the Ones Who Pulled it Down." [1]The following are excerpts from a March 1, 2006 Dream2 TV interview with Al-Rahim that featured two new songs - one against Denmark and the other on the avian flu.
TO VIEW THIS CLIP, VISIT: http://www.memritv.org/search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=1073.
[I Told My Producer] "We Must Wake up Islam and Write a Song Right Now"
Sha'aban 'Abd Al-Rahim: "I have liked news broadcasts and such things for a long time. I began with the song 'I Hate Israel.' I used to watch Al-Jazeera, Al-Arabiya, and so on, and all those things on the news. Then I started to sing, and when the song about Israel became a hit, and there was such a big fuss, I decided to follow these things so I could pick up things that people like, and which help angry people to let off steam."
[...]
"One morning at six, when I finished working, I turned on the TV, and heard about those bad cartoons [in Denmark]. I got really mad, and called my producer, 'Alaa Wahaba, [and told him] we must wake up Islam and write a song right now. He said it was in the middle of the night, but I said: 'right now.'"
[...]
"Denmark? They are Nothing but Pagans"
Song by Sha'aban 'Abd Al-Rahim:
"We are completely fed up.
"We are completely fed up.
"We are completely fed up.
"But there are no solutions.
"Humiliation has reached even the religion and the Prophet.
"Humiliation has reached even the religion and the Prophet.
"The religion and the Prophet."Allah's messenger, Muhammad the Imam of Prophets.
"They want to distort his image - those despicable fools.
"They want to distort his image - those despicable fools.
"Those despicable fools."[...]
"Denmark? They are nothing but pagans.
"Who are they to say anything about the Prophet?
"Who are they to say anything about the Prophet?
"About the Prophet."Our Islam is innocent of them, and what they say is all lies.
"Our Islam is a religion of love, not of injustice and terrorism.
"Our Islam is a religion of love, not of injustice and terrorism.
"Not of injustice and terrorism."When you all meet in Hell, the flames will burn your faces.
"The flames will burn your faces.
"They will burn your faces.
"I will speak and won't be silent, and others will say along with me:
"We want a total boycott, and even that is not enough."
"Our Islam is a religion of love, not of injustice and terrorism....When you all meet in Hell, the flames will burn your faces." Catchy!

What a song. Do you think this song will get him nominated for a Cammy Award?
at March 17, 2006 2:32 PM
Catchy. The cadence makes me want to hum it while I work.
The irony of it is, even while the author claims Islam "is a religion of love" he attempts to whip his listeners into an orgasm of hate and murder. That's ironic coming from a man whose name means "Servent of the Merciful, the Loving."
Sure Allah is merciful. Sure he is. I'm burning to death with all that mercy and love.

MTV was good enough to bring us rap music, you know the stuff where you don't have to write a tune or know how to sing or play an instrument and stupid stuff like that.
So when will MTV bring us Sha'ban Abd Al-Rahim? Think of the diversity this fine young artiste would bring to the table.

So much for islam repressing music. I am partial to the song “Islam is not for me” on a sister site. If you haven’t heard it you will find it here: http://www.faithfreedom.org/audio/Islamsnot4me.htm I think out of respect (not) for islam we should encourage all forms of music.

Pretty catchy, but it's no "Wake Me Up Before You Go, Go":
(Infidel,infidel):
You put the rage, rage into our hearts.
You set our souls on fire
With your non-belief.
Infidels have no hope.
But when you bow and scrape
We feel a great relief.
'Cause your our lessers,
We're the peak
We hate it when you freely speak.
So shut your eyes as we sweep the globe
If you object, we'll call you Islamophobe.
Wake us up, and we'll act dumb
And won't admit it's 'bout Dar-al-Islam
Wake us up, and we'll act dumb.
Give you a song and dance tonight.
Pretend 'twill be alright...

They want to distort his image - those despicable fools.
What image? The image of the Holy Prophet building a campfire on a pagan's chest? Crawling into the sack with a 6-yr old child? The image of him ordering Abu Afak's murder? The one of him cleaning out the Qurayza's vault, or from a few hours earlier the image of him sitting on his throne, watching as several hundred men were brought up to the edge of a pit, along with thier families to watch, and chopped off their heads and tossed their bifurcated cadavers into the pit? The image of the Most Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon Him, humping away in a good old-fashioned post battle rape?
We mere Infidels can't even aspire to distort such images as these.
And another question, most exalted Moslem rock idol Sha'ban Abd Al-Rahim, given your sordid tastes, aren't you the despicable fool?

Press Release
15 March 2006
The Decision of the Director of Public Prosecutions in the case of Jyllands-Posten's Article "The Face of Muhammed"
I have today decided not to institute criminal proceedings in the case of Jyllands-Posten's article "The Face of Muhammed", which was published on 30 September 2005 and where complaints were filed against Jyllands-Posten for violation of Sections 140 and 266 b of the Danish Criminal Code.
My decision is that there is no violation of the said rules of the Danish Criminal Code. My decision is published on the homepage of the Director of Public Prosecutions (www.rigsadvokaten.dk).
Although there is no basis for instituting criminal proceedings in this case, it should be noted that both provisions of the Danish Criminal Code contain a restriction of the freedom of expression. Section 140 of the Criminal Code protects religious feelings against mockery and scorn and Section 266 b protects groups of persons against scorn and degradation on account of their religion among other things. To the extent publicly made expressions fall within the scope of these rules there is, therefore, no free and
unrestricted right to express opinions about religious subjects. It is thus not a correct description of existing law when the article in Jyllands-Posten states that it is incompatible with the right to freedom of expression to demand special consideration for religious feelings and one has to be ready to put up with “scorn, mockery and ridicule”.
My decision in the matter cannot be appealed to a higher administrative authority. This follows from Section 99(3) of the Danish Administration of Justice Act.
Henning Fode
The entire decision can be read here:

The so-called triumph of reason (har!) in the West never washed over the many irrational beliefs in their culture. They view our measured approach to religion as weakness instead of centuries of hearing their arguments fall flat when put under the microscope of critical thought.
The basic intellectual tools we bring to religion, cultivated bloody century after bloody century from Scholasticism to Enlightenment, simply don't exist in Islam.

"Our Islam is a religion of love....the flames will burn your faces."
Oh how loving indeed - you-upside-down-half-baked minstrel freak. I get it now.
In Islam:
love=hatred
life=death
wisdom=ignorance
equality=apartheid
Islam seems to invert just about everything when they're pissed off. Hmm, in Satanism it's customary to hang a crucifix upside down in rejection to Christianity and God. What a theological parallel.
Islam=evil?....the only equation that currently makes sense.

"The irony of it is, even while the author claims Islam "is a religion of love" he attempts to whip his listeners into an orgasm of hate and murder."
And the biggest irony is that devout muslims aren't supposed to create or even listen to music. My dear friend at AskImam says:
"* Almighty Allah Taãla says in the Noble Qurãn: ‘And there are some people who purchase idle talk… for them is a severe punishment’. Ibn Masóod (Radhiyallaahu Ánhu) says that this verse was revealed regarding singing.
* Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, ‘Allah ordered me to destroy musical instruments.’
* Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, ‘People from my Ummat will drink wine and give it other names and singing girls and musical instruments will be played before them. Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, and disfigure their faces into apes and pigs.’
* Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) mentioned, ‘When singing girls and musical instruments becomes common, wait for red winds, earthquakes, the earth swallowing people, disfiguring and many more punishments.’ (Mishkãt 470)
* Hadhrat Ibn Mas’ood (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) declared every wine, gambling, beating of drums and every intoxicant as Haraam. (Abu Dawud)
The above references are clear that music is Haraam."

You know, I don't normally go in for this sort of thing but Muhammad lived in the 600's right?. It seems plausible that someone could be off by a few decades or even a few years but still get the general gist of the thing correct, no?

Okay a simple question: where is the antijihadists reply to this? Or are we so few that we haven't percolated down to the level of that that bunch of moneymaking plastic people know as "Pop musicians"?
The total failure of the West to come up with anything like this as rallying icon tells me much about how irrelevant most young people think this problem is.
We desperately NEED some pop music, even that rap crap, to spread the message among young people and NOW!!! Do not worry about the political geriatrics, RALLY THE YOUNG!!!

Zathras-- nothing as overtly "message-oriented" as this Abd al-Rahim's stuff would fly with "the young" in the West (to the extent that, at the creaky old age of 26, I'm still remotely in touch). Our youth can smell an agenda a mile away, and run like hell.
Otherwise, it would be too easy: The "Eat Your Vegetables" club remix could be followed up by an 80s power ballad about saving for retirement, and a nice, catchy song warning about the global jihad in the style of one of the 3 x 10^8 bands that sound like Green Day.
One more problem: So many of the lyrics are unintelligible anyway. They could be legitimately educational, for all we know, but in the words of Weird Al, "it's hard to bargle nawdle zauss with all these marbles in my mouth."

I don't buy this BS from Al BBC.
Mohammedans all read the same Koran, there is no "Russian Islam, German Islam, Italian Islam" or any such thing.
They all follow the teachings of a stark raving mad bandit-chief, rapist, mass-murderer and child molester, Mohammed.
Nobody should waste their time with such drivel.

Any ideas? I thought I need 10 songs for the album, but studios cost a lot of money, musicians cost money and the production costs a lot too. Any support out there?

About a line in that other song:
"We are completely fed up".
Well, so are we. There's a solution that would make us all happy. You're fed up, cool. Leave our Infidel countries. Leave Denmark. Leave Europe. Leave the West. Just go. Boycott us so well you can. Stop living in our cities. Stop consuming our goods. Stop accepting our jiz... I mean, welfare payments. Refuse our "development aid". You're fed up, you can do something about it. You're free to leave us. Go.

Sheik
As for the video, why not take video clippings of various terrorist acts - and overlay it at appropriate points. Like for instance, on "Cut off a head for Al-Jazeera!", put clippings of Nick Berg, or Paul Johnson being beheaded. Against " Fifty pounds of dynamite, blow yourself to heaven!", show a suicide bomber attack in Israel. You get the idea.
Number of songs - make it 9 - to coincide with you know what. If you are going to pack MP3's on a CD, make it 72.
Incidentally, was that you singing? If so, you rock!

"Islam is not for me" is not one of my songs, my stuff packs a punch, I'm not into "killing me softly..."
As for video- clips and the production of a DVD: Sure, that is the idea, a flick that shows the Mo-bots when they do what they do best, like cutting heads off and going on a slash'n- burn rampage. I just haven't got anybody to do it for me and I'm not that good with computers to do it myself. I am prepared to pay for it and I need some offers by talented people!

Hey Beagle, I hear ya on the logic and reason points. I remember (sort of) in one college logic course I took where a rather obvious but telling point was made:
No one is fanatical about something which is certain, like the sun rising in the morning. Can you imagine a mob of zealots violently chanting "The Sun Will Rise! The Sun Will Rise!! The Sun Will Rise!!! Nope. No need, as it will rise whether people like it or not, want it to or not, completely divorced from human desire.
Whereas... fanatical exhortations such as "There Is No God But Allah! There Is No God But Allah!! There Is No God But Allah!!!" actually bespeak doubt and fear, as in "p-l-e-a-s-e let there be no god but allah or my miserable existence, which is based on that fairy tale, is a lie and waste".
No one gets fanatical over something they are truly certain of.
