Hamas leader says won't renounce "armed resistance"

Stop the Presses! Hamas has said this all along. It has never wavered. Only in the minds of befuddled Western politicians and analysts, grasping eagerly at straws, has it ever come remotely close to anything that could legitimately be called moderation. From Reuters, with thanks to JE:

ABU DHABI (Reuters) - Hamas leader-in-exile Khaled Meshaal said on Wednesday the Palestinian militant group will continue to fight Israel and told the United States that its Middle East policy would fuel terrorism.

"Israel cannot have stability with occupation. It has to choose. This is the message Israel should understand," he told Reuters in an interview in Abu Dhabi.

"Armed resistance is legitimate. All resistance options are open to the Palestinian people and Palestinian factions including Hamas," said Meshaal, who is touring Arab and Muslim countries to solicit financial and political support.

He said that he informed Arab leaders that the government his group will head needs $1.75 billion per year to make ends meet and that he was confident that they would help....

"So far there has been good commitment that needs to be translated into figures... I am sure that Arab and Islamic support will cover a large part of the Palestinians' needs. No matter what Israel does and how much pressure the United States applies, I do not think Arabs and Muslims will cave."

Iran has said it will meet any gap in official funding for a new government once it is formed by Hamas in coming weeks.

I doubt that Meshaal needs to worry. Almost certainly the EU and probably the US will also kick in their jizya payments again, perhaps after a suitable face-saving interval.

Quick! Get Hamas on the payroll! Make 'em stake holders in the peace process! Show 'em that we are reliable partners, trusted allies in the war against terror! Put 'em incharge of makeing mutions for Army, Navy, and Marines!

Hey Tony! Hey George! Just like the bumper sticker reads:

Visualize Whirled Peas!"

But, sooner or later -- reality bites!

Hamas plays to other arabs with the code lie about being 'palestinians' and not just another part of arab nationalist Jihad: give us money to continue our (include Dubai) struggle.

Why do we let these bastards continue their charade ? It is not to our advantage or continued existence to allow them to do so.

Everyone, it's time to write your government representatives and tell them two things (besides to go F*=K themselves for getting the USA into this predicament):

One: The United States supposedly has a govermment policy of NON-NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORISTS. Hamas, being a self-avowed terrorist organization, should be treated by the United States like every other terrorist organization. This is NO TIME for us to be changing horses in mid-stream!! PLEASE ENFORCE THIS POLICY WITH REGARDS TO HAMAS PRESENTLY!

Two: Terrorists (who we are supposedly at war with) are against the US Constitution and everything it stands for. For the US government to be giving money to Hamas is therefore taxation without representation and should be subject to legal actions. The primary responsibility of the US government is to represent the American people and their safety. Terrorists pose a potential threat to the American people and bowing to them could embolden them, increase the danger they pose to US citizens, and thus be an infringement of Americans' constitutional rights.

It is tough being an Arab warrior, quite apart from being an oxymoron. The unfathomable protozoan impotence must be unbearable. Week-in, week-out, the son of Mohammed must endure the ringing harangue of the imam to go forth in the name of Allah and rid the caliphate of the offspring of pigs and monkeys (these would be the dirty, dimwitted, conniving, cunning Jews). Yet, for 48 years, despite the best efforts of Allah and the promises of Gabriel, he and his brothers have been unceremoniously driven from every battlefield by the self-same cowardly, yet vicious, miscreants; invariably reduced to seeking sanctuary behind the skirts of their ululating women and unkempt wailing children. Yes, the life of the proud Arab warrior is tough. One can readily appreciate the sympathy of the good Doctor and her Department of State.

"befuddled Western politicians and analysts...." I would say that only a small percentage of them are actually befuddled. The others are playing games, dishonest, or playing games and dishonest. What is so hard to understand is the hubris and bad judgment of these politicians. I assume that many cannot fathom that their own lives will end too. They think they can go on playing games forever. You cannot play a game with someone who will not play the game. The Arab Muslims as evidenced by this guy Meshaal play taqqiya...they lie lie lie and only when it serves their own interests do they tell the truth. You therefore cannot trust anything that they say. They are equivalent to the worst kind of criminal and anyone who has ever watched a movie with a crime shootout and someone thinks they have killed x and they come close and x (apparently dead) opens his eyes and says "see you in hell" and shoots the other person--kills him--has received a clear picture of their mentality. These people have always required confrontations and unless they implode or there is a miracle they will require another confrontation. They will not be bought off, won over, or stabilized. Hamas=violence. It's in the Torah.

How absent minded of me to forget to mention that Jews are also vampires; just ask any imam near you. With Pesach just around the corner, the ummah will be especially vigilant of its toddlers and pre-schoolers. As any well versed Arab scholar will attest, no Seder would be complete and the Jews find nothing so delicious as hemoglobin hydrated matzah, with the favored source of sanguine enrichment the fresh blood of chaste Muslim children. It’s in the Protocols, don’t you know.

HaMal'akh,
if I may clarify your reference to Hamas. Hamas is also a Hebrew word which means violence, brutality, aggressiveness. It is used twice in the story of Noah in Genesis: And the Earth was full of Hamas. The name fits them perfectly.
