I don't know that I would put much stock in what Moussaoui says. But this is what he is saying, anyway. "Moussaoui Says He Was to Hijack 5th Plane," from AP, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui testified Monday that he and would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid were supposed to hijack a fifth airplane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House.Moussaoui's testimony on his own behalf stunned the courtroom. His account was in stark contrast to his previous statements in which he said the White House attack was to come later if the United States refused to release a radical Egyptian sheik imprisoned on earlier terrorist convictions.
On Dec. 22, 2001, Reid was subdued by passengers when he attempted to detonate a bomb in his shoe aboard American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. There were 197 people on board. The plane was diverted to Boston, where it landed safely.
Moussaoui told the court he knew the World Trade Center attack was coming and that he lied to investigators when arrested in August 2001 because he wanted it to happen.
"You lied because you wanted to conceal that you were a member of al- Qaida?" prosecutor Rob Spencer asked.
"That's correct," Moussaoui said.
Spencer: "You lied so the plan could go forward?"
Moussaoui: "That's correct."
I am not, of course, the Rob Spencer referred to here.

Really, Rob, you're too modest.
I'm more inclined to believe that you moonlight as a Federal prosecutor than that Musawi and his good bud Ricky Reid were going to fly a plane into the White House.

STUNNING!!!
And yet I'm not stunned, as lying seems to be the norm for radical Islam. At least now we can lay to rest any wack-o theories out there that the U.S. had anything to do with 911. His testimony proves that Bin Laden-and-company are responsible.

Not likely! Richard Reid was reportedly in Amsterdam from August to December 2001; see this timeline from CNN.
It sounds to me as though Moussaoui may be playing Mohammed Babar's game -- namely to confess, but then advance self-incriminating evidence so implausible that the jury is tempted to discount it and acquit.

Null,
Reids presence in Eurabia during that timespan doesn't necessarily mean Moussaoui is lying. If I were the prosecutor, I'd introduce the theory that Reid stayed put and was laying low on hearing of Moussaoui's demise in August.
At any rate, if Moussaoui was to be a fifth pilot, that means a fifth jihadi crew is still on the loose. Should we not use all necessary means to extract from Moussaoui the names of these people before they actually carry out another attack? It's a no brainer for me, but hey, I'm just an islamophobic warmonger.

Of course Moussaoui's admission in open court that he had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks will do absolutely nothing to quell conspiracy theories that the attacks were a set up by the CIA and Mossad to prod GWB into a war on Islam.

I think he has wanted to confess for sometime he just didn’t have a platform. He wants the death penalty because it gives him martyr status. His confession also earns him hero status in the muslim world. He is probably beaming with pride right now. I don’t for one second beleave the Reid part of the story but It also gives him credibility with the muslim world and will serve to encourage other non arab muslims.

There were 19 identified hijackers, 5 from each plane, except one plane had only 4.
If Moussaoui was the 20th, then there are no more hijackers on the loose. But if William the Crusader is right and Moussaoui was a fifth pilot, there might be 5 more hijackers still out there somewhere.
Wonder if the FBI headquarters shut down this line of inquiry too.

Their lies are like Russian nesting dolls.
One deception opens onto another. Endless regress.
And they don't even have to worry about 'keeping their story straight', since it is all a "war is deceit" operation, top to bottom, Mecca to Yale.

Infidel conspiracies, y'know-- who's to know what we have up our sleeve?

Now can we put aside the theory of "we did it to ourselves?" He has admitted to the plot of 9-11.
Really OT- but read this...fused brain cells and computer chips...whoa Nelly!

First, the judge implies that potential witnesses were coached. Therefore, there should not be a death penalty decision. Now Moussaoui comes off with all his tall tales. My thoughts are so he can avoid the death penalty and live a comfortable life in jail. Alas, he will be able to preach his Jihad in the Federal Prison System.

Carolyn2 his confession will just cause another spin, you see the Jewish controled illuminati blackmailed him into "volunteering" for the 9/11 mission. They knew about his fondness for pork BBQ and threatened to expose him.

Perish the thought. You are no more a Rob than a Bishop is a Bish, a Rebecca is a Becky or a Hugh is a Hug/Hu?
Or a Shinoliite is a Shinolite (see credit in item above). Admittedly that one is harder to spot.

I'd imagine that flight attendants get some self-defence training these days. A sharp jab in the right places can take anyone out. Hm, I hope more French and Swedish girls are getting that kind of training, too.

I think the only reason this individual is now proclaiming he was the 5th hijacker, is that he is just hanging onto what he has left in his miserable life.
I think his time in prison has given him time to reflect and realise the hopeless situation he is in.
In other words he is a legend in his own head.Simply dreaming of the kudos he assumes he will recieve if any impressionable young muslims actually believe him. (some will)
A pure liar.
Richard Reed?
Who?

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

I go to the movies and see that it's the flight attendants who are the threat. I turn on my TV and watch 24 and it's apparently the Teutons who would blow up the world. I go to the airport and hundreds of Moslems are there to protect me from... who again?
A nation that can't muster the courage to name its enemy is wide open to the very real and express threat. Eyes wide shut, groping. Toby Keith was overoptimistic.

Why isn't this guy before a military tribunal and why is he still alive ? (and even before a military tribunal, only his useful singing would have kept him alive).
This scum doesn't warrant a Western court.

Alarmed-
If you can't name the enemy, then you can make a fictional (reversed) parallel that does the same thing. One which will clue people in, subconsciously, until the external truth is strong enough to penetrate their denial. A popular video game or graphic novel or action movie could 'say it without naming it'.
Maybe something with a mutating virus called a "Milsum", found in an unusual 7th century Middle Eastern mummy, that infiltrates cells and replaces the original DNA with its own. Gruesomely self-cloning while destroying the original host's genetic information; shape-shifting a former friend into a literal enemy, -down to the marrow.
And each replicant says the same thing upon 'awakening':
"Rabka Uhalla!"
And then joins in the monstrous mayhem.
A cure is known that will reverse the process, but anyone changed back is hunted down with even greater fervor by the mutants.
"Setatsopa"'s, they are called by the mitochondrial ghouls.
The whole cult is like a zombie movie already.
Only the names are changed to protect the guilty.

Another OT post...this book sounds very interesting, (the US is divided into a free country and islamic country within our borders) nightmare, no?

Don't kill him. Let him go as a fading symbol of the utter insignificance to civilisation of all his kind. Let him go mad in prison and then die old, broken, alone and forgotten having been witness to the fultility of his cause and the failure of his prophet.

Richard Reid was a somewhat dim petty criminal before he joined the Jihad. I couldn't see him with the twisted intelligence needed to master mind a hijacking. As we saw, it only took a few alert passengers to subdue him.
