British TV has pointed out that the Queen is due to visit Stafford tomorrow. Now some speculations of my own. Her Majesty, in spite of her eighty years, is remarkably lively and compos mentis still - she seems to have got her constitution from her mother, who died at 101. She is a devout and outspoken Christian, whose most memorable public utterances have often had to do with her faith. And she has been very good value in the days of the bombing of London, making an impromptu visit and a powerful speech in a hospital full of wounded, and then turning the celebrations of the sixtieth anniversary of victory into a relevant and defiant occasion, saying to assembled veterans: "It is no wonder that in the current dark and dangerous days, the present generation turns to the example you have set..." - the example of defiance against Fascism, no matter what it cost, no matter how long it took. The Queen is only a figurehead, but she has a lot of moral authority. And if she is succeeded by King Charles III... well, we know how he feels about Islam.

What a contrast between HRH and Charles. I would love to be a fly on the wall to hear the discussions about islam.

When are people in the West going to come to the realization that they can't afford all this vigilance? It's time to forget the multiculti bit and send them all home.

Mark Alexander,
I hope when you say "send them all home" you are referring to muslims only !
now back to the topic.
I worked in a hospital IT dept and we had a moslem fanatic working there (menial telephone answering, nothing tech, that was left to the Indians). he would spend his time going through the Global Address List looking for doctors with jewish sounding names.
When he tried to spout his views and found no takers the standard response would be indimidation/threat of violence.
Anyway his response to the statement that the arab/islamic world was the most technologically backward was "what do you need technology for?"
he said this while cradling his flashy new mobile,
and planning a trip to that islamic heaven pakistan on a plane.
The point of this post is there are muslims all over who are working where they can gather info and do great harm by providing that info to their dubious associates.
Regards
AI

apostate_islam -
You are right, of course. It is pointless to "monitor mosques and muslims". We already know where the problem is - it is time to begin the deportations.

I suppose the Muslims respect the game of Chess - where you are unable to kill the King.
Islam is probably of interest to Charles.
And it would be in Islam’s interest to have friends like Charles.
But perhaps he is more like Lawrence of Arabia than he thinks – doomed to deceive.
