This is no surprise to many Canadians that have watched the Liberal Government coddle up to the militant wing of Islam , the Khadr family was welcomed back from Afghanistan even though they praised the 9/11 hijackers and Mommy Dearest Khadr went as far as using our own CBC Tv network to express she was glad 24 Canadians died that day and that she hoped her kids would die for Allah by Jihad while killing non-Muslims.

Two year ago 19 Sunni Muslim males from pakistan were rounded up and deported for bogus documents and bogus enrollment in a store-front College that sold "Student" papers to foreigners for a Visa to get into Canada,when CAIR got ahold of the story it became "Racial Profiling" and "Islamophobia" .
last year when Sheema Khan from CAIR Canada gave witness to Islamophobia at a Federal Inquiry she was forced to revceal the truth about the "Know your rights" pamphlet that coached Muslims to not aid the Authorities in catching terrorist or terror cells, plus she argued that the Muslims caught with airplane blueprints and taking flying lesson near a Nuclear Plant were innocent and lots of people learn to fly and go near Power Plants.

I expect CAIR-can to deny the bogus refugee is a "True" muslim and that the CIA is behind it to smear Islam and aid Israel.

CAIR is becoming so predictable and the lies don't work anymore, Canada only has about 0.0003% of the 1.2 billion Muslim on Earth and the rants about them having the "Real" Quran that teaches peace is losing its credibility as the lies pile up.

I would ordinarily be concerned that this was a sign of an immanent attack on North America because the Al Qaeda pattern is to flee prior to the target day, but it seems this servant of allah was comfy enough to want to flee to the US where he is wanted on other charges.

The other reason alarms go off is he is Pakistani. And it seems likely the next attack on American soil will be from fine young Pakistanis. Their 20-something's seem to have a very big cause to Jihad these days. Especially since they have grown up in the US/UK, received western educations, dated western women and played all the western video games to the point of boredom. And upon traveling back to Pakistan for fine religious training they find themselves shocked and dismayed by the conditions of poverty caused by the evil West who no doubt force the Pakistani government to spend all of its money on its insane nuclear arms race with India rather than feed its own people. Of course it's all the fault of the West because nuclear weapons are not Islamic.

How could this guy just waltz over the border into Canada with a fake name? No doubt it was because Canadian customs officials are told NOT to racially profile whom they scrutinize.

The U.S. backed off on requiring Canadians along with everyone else crossing into the U.S. to show a passport, and apparently Canada still lets "Americans" cross into Canada with only a drivers license. If that's still the case, it's absurd.

Border security and the illegal immigration issue is more closely tied to Islamic terrorism than people think. A wall along the Mexican, well secured and enforced, is simply the minimum that any sane person would conclude--that's not a liberal in other words, or a Chicano racist/communist.

The Chicano radical groups that are organizing the protests over restrictions on the free flow of "brown" "travelers" are allied with the Arab and Muslim activist groups here. They identify their cause with that of the Palestinians.

I have a couple of short posts with all the necessary links to see what sort of thing we're up against.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) is a pro-Israel organization with headquarters in Washington DC and its Media Centre in Israel. Although the official motto is, "Bridging the Language Gap Between the Middle East and the West," MEMRI is known for its selective, biased, and out-of-context English translations of Middle East news and opinion material. In fact, its translations are so inaccurate, selective, and incomplete, that any fair-minded and well informed person could easily conclude MEMRI’s motto should be, "Increasing the Gap Between the Muslim World and the West in Favour of Israel."
This is because MEMRI translators seem to ignore any material which could promote better understanding between the Muslim World and the West. Apparently, that is not their job... but of course the organization doesn't say so. Founded in 1998, ostensibly "to inform the debate over U.S. policy in the Middle East," MEMRI is instead more than happy to distribute and post on its website any material that disinforms and misinforms the West about Islam and Muslims. Perhaps that bias passes for "informed" debate in its organizational circles, but directional and ethical credibility are sadly lacking here.

MEMRI claims to offer "timely translations of Arabic, Farsi, and Hebrew media, as well as original analysis of political, ideological, intellectual, social, cultural, and religious trends in the Middle East." But if you think you're dealing with an independent research organization that presents a balanced spectrum of viewpoints to promote peace in the Middle East, then think again.

Some political writers and journalists, however -- including Canadian Margaret Wente -- uncritically love what MEMRI offers them, and use its biased interpretations freely, without divulging this source to readers. MEMRI offers such writers an easy, pre-digested menu opinions, reflecting what they like to hear about Islam and Muslims.

Take a recent example: the Arabic satellite TV channel Al-Jazeera runs a popular American-style talk show called "The Other Direction," in which two guests of strongly opposed views are invited to debate a current subject. The host heats up the atmosphere by egging on guests to provoke one another, often with predictably volatile results.

Given MEMRI's self-described mandate, you'd think its staff would translate and distribute both sides of any on-air debate concerning important Middle East issues. This would be the professional and ethical way; the debate would then be given a meaningful context.

But that is not what happened when a recent episode (aired Feb. 21) of "The Other Direction" went through MEMRI's biased filter. The show's guests included Dr. Mohamed Elkholi, a professor of Islamic studies, and an American woman, Wafa Sultan, exchanging views on whether Islam or Muslims should be blamed for the state of affairs in the Muslim world today. The professor came prepared with good academic credentials, while Ms Sultan's only qualifications -- apart from her Syrian MD degree, which she does not use in the U.S. -- seemed to be her passionate hatred of Islam, which she categorically blamed for every wrong ever done by Muslims.

A few days after "The Other Direction" aired, MEMRI ignored Prof. Elkholi's reasoned arguments -- supported by references from the Qur'an (Islam’s Holy Book), the teachings of the Prophet, and from Islamic history -- translating only Ms Sultan's angry statements, which attracted the attention of the American Jewish Congress. The AJC promptly invited her to speak at their conference in Israel this summer.

The New York Times also interviewed Ms Sultan and in an article published March 15, quoted her as saying, "Knowledge has released me from this backward thinking. Somebody has to help free the Muslim people from these wrong beliefs."

That made her an instant heroine to writers like Margaret Wente, who even proposed that Ms Sultan be given an award. On March 9 she wrote, "If you're a Muslim, it's dangerous to be labeled an apostate, even if you live in the West. Ask Salman Rushdie. Or ask Wafa Sultan, an Arab- American woman from Syria who has chosen to go head to head with Islamist clerics on Al- Jazeera. Two weeks ago, in Arabic, she argued, 'The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions or a clash of civilizations ... It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between human rights, on the one hand, and the violation of these rights, on the other hand. It is a clash between those who treat women like beasts, and those who treat them like human beings'."
However, both MEMRI and Wente failed to divulge something else that Ms Sultan announced on the same Al-Jazeera show: "I am not a Muslim. I am not a Christian. I am not a Jew," she said.
It is abundantly clear from this single incident that neither MEMRI, Margaret Wente, nor the AJC were interested in the real debate. They were out to glean only those details that supported their unfair and undeclared biases. There is only one response to such unethical misrepresentations of the truth -- Shame!

It's bad enough here in Oz, with these so-called "refugees" showing up, demanding to be let in. We lock them up first, try to find out who they are and try to get rid of them, if we can, when we find out they're liars and cheats (as most are). Speaking at a press conference in Cuba this week, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said that the U.S. government needs "regime change" and called on the Muslim world to rally in defense of Iran.
"We need a new government, we need regime change in America," he told reporters in Havana, in quotes picked up by Reuters.
In the next breath the radical minister urged that "the Muslim world should unite against America's desire for a pre-emptive strike against Iran and Syria."
He defended Iran's right to develop a nuclear energy program to reduce global dependence on oil, insisting that Washington's opposition was just a pretext for a war.
A similar pretext was used, Farrakhan said, to "rape the treasuries of the United States" for the Iraq invasion, where "hundreds of billions of dollars [were] doled out to the friends of President Bush, Halliburton and Bechtel and Associates."
Last month Farrakhan blamed Israel for the U.S. invasion of Iraq, telling a Chicago audience:

Iran on Friday successfully test-fired a missile that can avoid radar and hit several targets simultaneously, the airforce chief of the elite Revolutionary Guards said.
"Today, a remarkable goal of the Islamic Republic of Iran's defence forces was realized with the successful test-firing of a new missile with greater technical and tactical capabilities than those previously produced," Gen. Hossein Salami said on state-run television.
Salami said the Iranian-made missile, which he did not name, was test-fired as large military maneuvers began in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian sea.
"This missile can simultaneously hit several targets, has near stealth capabilities with a high maneuverability, pinpoint accuracy and radar avoidance features," Salami said.

TEHRAN, Iran -- Earthquakes and aftershocks rattled western Iran one after another, flattening villages and sending frightened homeowners into the streets. By Friday morning 70 people were dead, 1,200 wounded, and thousands homeless.
The death toll would have been much higher, residents said, but police used loudspeakers to tell townspeople to sleep outside after a 4.7-magnitude quake struck Thursday evening.
Hours later, around 11 p.m., a 5.1-magnitude quake struck Boroujerd and Doroud, the Iranian Seismological Center said, followed by a 6.1-magnitude quake just before 5 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Society. Aftershocks continued throughout the day.
A total of 70 bodies had been recovered from houses destroyed in Silakhor, a region north of Doroud, state-owned television reported.
The provincial head of the Unexpected Disaster Committee, Ali Barani, said no fewer than 200 villages were damaged, and some were flattened. The quakes' epicenters were 210 miles southwest of Tehran.
The quakes - at least 12 were recorded, one scientist said - caused panic, with people in Doroud running out of their homes. Many spent the night in the open.
"We are afraid to go back home. I spent the night with my family and guests in open space last night," Doroud resident Mahmoud Chaharmiri told the Associated Press by telephone.

FBI's Mueller: Hezbollah Busted in Mexican Smuggling Operation
FBI Director Robert Mueller said this week that his agency busted a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah that had operatives cross the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S.
"This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States,” Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee during a Tuesday hearing on the FBI's budget.
In a stunning revelation, Mueller admitted that Hezbollah had succeeded in smuggling some of its operatives across the border, telling the House committee: "That was an organization that we dismantled and identified those persons who had been smuggled in. And they have been addressed as well.”
Hezbollah was responsible for the single most deadly terrorist attack against the U.S. before 9/11 - the Oct. 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 243 U.S. troops.
In November, an al-Qaida operative who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list was captured near the Mexican border, housed in a Texas jail and turned over to federal agents, according to Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas.
"A confirmed al-Qaida terrorist, an Iraqi national, was held in the Brewster County jail," Rep. Culberson told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity. "He was captured in Mexico. This was within the last six weeks. He was turned over to the FBI."

On the Palestinian-Jewish Issue
La Raza's struggle for the land and for political and economic self-determination is not different from the struggle of the Palestinian people in Zionist Israel. We live in Aztlan under Anglo domination as the Palestinians live under Jewish domination. La Raza as well as the Palestinians lost the land through military aggression and both people now live in segregated regions within the larger nation. The Palestinian people as well as La Raza provide the hard labor necessary to prop up the national economies. Both Raza children and Palestinian children are victims of educational discrimination. The Palestinians as well as La Raza are considered people of color. So who should we side with in the present struggle in the Middle East? Will it be with the Jewish Zionists or with Islam? It is no secret that the United States as a whole is siding with the Jews, but should we? It is also no secret that the Jewish Lobby in America now also dominate large parts of the U.S federal government. It is estimated that over 32% of the Clinton Administration is of Jewish descent. Many are top level Federal Officials and includes the Secretary of Defense as well as the Secretary of State. In fact, the Department of State is now pretty much entirely Jewish. Most of the foreign Ambassadors are Jewish. This trend was begun by Henry Kissinger who is a Jew. This is very surprising considering that Jews only make about 2% of the total US population. Making these statements is not anti-semitic. It is stating facts. We do not hate Jews. We respect the contributions that many Jews have made to world culture. However, we reject Zionist racist Jews like the war criminal Ariel Sharon and appeal to all good Jews to do the same.
Israel can now be considered to be the 51st state. U.S. taxpayers are now sending over 8 billion dollars each year in economic and military aid. The sophisticated military weaponry being utilized against defenseless Palestinians are gifts from Uncle Sam. In fact, Israel now has nuclear and biological weapons, thanks to the United States. Why is the US providing so much to Israel? Well the selection of Joseph Lieberman as Vice Presidential running mate for Al Gore should give a clue.
Another clue should be provided by how the Israeli Army atrocities unfolded in the US media. At first, none of the Palestinian children murders were being covered by ABC, NBC or CBS. Not until the French and Italian media started broadcasting pictures of dead Palestinian children was the US media forced to cover some of the Israeli atrocities. Politicians, including Hillary Clinton running for US Senate in New York need a friendly media to be able to win elections.
La Raza is a victim of the same political and economic forces that are oppressing the Palestinian people and other people of color around the world. We must awaken to this fact and understand the hidden strategies and tactics being utilized to subjugate our people in order to devise effective counter-measures to neutralize them.

And now, will Syed Maqsood Aly be extradited to the United States? One wonders why that hadn't happened before, or was he simply impossible to locate? And how many false passports, false documents of every kind, do such people possess?

How both brothers, brothers not only under the skin, managed to escape being picked up by those who in both Canada and the United States should have been looking for them, is a puzzlement.

Not too pleased with the anti-Canada bias in the report on the main page. Yeah, this guy came to Canada. But that was under a false name. And only AFTER the Americans had bizarrely released him from custody on a bond. You want to blame anyone here, blame the US. Canada at least caught this guy.

All this "Canada is lax on immigration!" stuff really pisses me off. The US is actually much worse. There are more illegals living and working in the US right now than citizens living in the province of Ontario. Americans want to solve problems, they'd better start at home.

And all the passport requirement for US/Canada will do is kill tourism and business trade between the two countries. It will economically devastate a lot of border communities, particularly in the US on the other side of Ontario, as a lot of poor US towns and cities really rely on cross-border traffic. Start shutting down the malls and hotels now and bus lines now, folks.

It'll cost both countries billions. Sorry, the northern border isn't a problem for the US; the southern is, as is the continuing wingnut perception (Hi, Hillary!) that some of the 9/11 hijackers entered the US from Canada. For the record, again, all entered the US from overseas, and all thoroughly screwed over US security and immigration.

The only sensible security arrangement for North America is that fortress idea floated by the Bush admin a few years ago. Border security should be around the whole of North America, as it's only way to make sure you're keeping out the bad guys. Once they get in, they can cross the borders. Remember, it's huge. And with Paul Martin and the Liberals out of office finally in Canada, we can finally put that in place. Too late to stop the passport/secure document nonsense, though.
