Hackers Leave Muslim Threats On Battleship's Web Site

1938 Alert from AP, with thanks to Twostellas:

MOBILE -- The U.S.S. Alabama Web site was targeted by hackers over the weekend. The culprits claiming to be from Iran, somehow managed to deface the site's home page with a message warning of consequences if Muslims beliefs are not respected.

The unknown individuals also threatened to leave similar messages on other Web sites.

Do not be suprised folks, I think we will see more internet based attacks coming from the jihadists.

It was probably just a copy over style of attack, I didn't see the site so I am guessing but if I am right, it is not hard to do nor does it do any real damage. Most teens I know could have done the same thing (most of the little darlings probably do) the website just needs to rebuild/replace the site and update its security software, something we should all do BTW.

OOO, scary!

Where are all the infidel hackers taking down sites like Al Jazeera, etc.? I was really hoping we would see a grassroots geek uprising. Perhaps it's too soon yet...

OOO, scary!

Tut, tut, nothing to fear.

The islamic and most likely Iranian hackers, were obviously hired by the DOD as sub-contract programmers; giving them easy access to the ships data as well as the website.

After all, no Americans could be found anywhere who wanted a job or who knew anything about programming even if they were willing to work!

Yes, we need more millions of illegal Mexicans but especially illegal islamic programmers!

What other choice is there after all?

Huhh? Hire real Americans?

Now that's nuts!

I know what you're thinking; I'm just kidding, right? Shame on you...

"U.S. Military Secrets for Sale at Afghan Bazaar
By Paul Watson, Times Staff Writer
April 10, 2006

BAGRAM, Afghanistan — No more than 200 yards from the main gate of the sprawling U.S. base here, stolen computer drives containing classified military assessments of enemy targets, names of corrupt Afghan officials and descriptions of American defenses are on sale in the local bazaar.

Shop owners at the bazaar say Afghan cleaners, garbage collectors and other workers from the base arrive each day offering purloined goods, including knives, watches, refrigerators, packets of Viagra and flash memory drives taken from military laptops. The drives, smaller than a pack of chewing gum, are sold as used equipment."

Silly Jihadist, the USS Alabama was decommissioned in 1964 and is now a memorial in Mobile, Al. If you are trying to frighten us, let's see you try to hack into the computer systems of a Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer. Morons.

These jihadists constantly threaten Infidels with biological or nuclear harm. The tables may be turned on them soon.

During World War II (in August 1941)Stalin, when meeting with his field commanders, noted that the Nazis had launched a war of extermination against Russia. He spoke to General Zhukov with the other field commanders listening and said, "The Germans want a war of extermination, very well, let us give them one."

Why are we not using drones and other technology to do to Iran what they threaten to do to Infidels? Why don't they have a nuclear accident? Or a problem with anthrax? Why not? Let their dreams of harming Infidels turn into a nightmare as the Russians turned Nazi dreams into their worst nightmare.

Let them be stung by their own methods in numerous covert actions. Perhaps then they will understand the nature of random violence, and why it is called terrorism.

This really is a "1938 update." Next thing you know they'll attack the USS Arizona.

These hackers learned this from us in OUR universities. Student visas should never be given to Muslims from the Middle East or who practice Islam. Yes, now I'm being discriminative! We have to be. It's a matter of national security. If you don't believe, reread the above article. And then imagine that some how, Islamofeces terrorist managed to hack into the DOD database. Don't think that it can't happen.

Ironman, it was not a DOD page just a tourist page for the battleship. Hacking that would have been kidstuff. I agree with your post I just wanted to point that out, DOD pages, (I hope) are above the skills of allahs followers. If those clowns were real hackers then we wouldn't be able to blog freely. I think it was probably kids but I still recommend everyone always use up to date security software.

One big issue though is; if infidel hacker hacks an Islamic site and gets caught we send him to jail. if an islamic hacker hacks an infidel site then he is a hero.

It's kiddie stuff, the football message board i post on got hit by some guy in turkey they just probe systems for a weakness and insert that stupid message.

Point taken Ronin;

But I'd rather err on the side of caution. Our government should seriously consider limting the number of student visas to students from the Middle East that practice "the religion of peace." They always start out as "quiet, peaceful souls" and then turn to ramming American students on an American college campus with an American made SUV. And the last thing that we need is a "peaceful Muslim student" hacking into any mainframe in this country issueing threats. Fake or not.
Remember, a house is built one brick at a time. Lets not give the "peaceful Muslims" any more mortar than they already have for their bricks.

May the Wings of Liberty never lose a Feather!!!

January Man;

DEAD ON!!!

But remember Ironman, its always nice to have mortar support when dealing with mohammedans and their bricks.

...with a message warning of consequences if Muslims beliefs are not respected."

Such as "...slay the infidels"? I'm not respecting that, thank you very much. Jesus said to love your enemies, not slay them. These people need the light of the gospel. It's ok, God is in control and will sort it all out. It's just a matter of time.

Posted by: watcher [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 12, 2006 3:30 AM

Eisenhund;
That's only if it not working against us and flying OUR planes into OUR buildings.
Unfortunately, OUR President and OUR government is trusting slime (or Islime) rather than mortar.
Or, to make it plain, OUR President and OUR government is too trusting of Muslims to work against other Muslims in the war on terror.
