Threatened Playboy Jihad becomes a reality. From AP, with thanks to Rogier Van Bakel:
JAKARTA, Indonesia — A group of Muslims protesting Playboy's decision to launch an Indonesian edition of the magazine clashed with police Wednesday and stoned the company's editorial offices, witnesses said.No one was injured in the protest involving around 150 members of the Islamic Defenders' Front, a small group with a history of attacking bars and nightclubs, as well as Western embassies.
The protesters smashed several windows and the door and gate at the magazine's offices in south Jakarta, witnesses said. Several were seen scuffling with police officers guarding the building.

Every time we had muslim soldiers around us they traded us for porn. In Bosnia the only place to buy porn was from the muslim book merchants. They had little street side booth’s that sold and displayed guess what? That’s right porn, in all flavors, books, CD’s, magazines, stuff that was so far past sick it was disgusting. They only thing these clowns were mad at is they didn’t get a slice from playboy.

poor dumb Ahmed always the prankster. after rummaging the playboy office he made off with all the fuzzy bunny tails. he made his mistake when he secretly pinned one to the rump of his local imam. as we know there is no fun in islam and now there is no Ahmed either.

Islam represses sexuality, and in particular criminalizes female sexuality, hence the honor killings and FGM. Muslims are as sexual as anyone else, it being an natural human drive. They need someone to blame - viola, it is our fault, for corrupting them!
Islam devalues life and celebrates death. Muslims, being human, want to live and avoid death, and do not want in the main to admit the truth about their faith. Yet they need someone to blame for their bloodlust. Viola, it is our fault, Israel's fault, the Danish cartoonists' fault.

Were they protesting the indecent content of the magazine, or that Indonesia got a watered-down version?
A chance to plunder the building under the pretext of religious indignation might also involve the chance of stealing a copy of the authentic version the rest of the world gets.
It's a win-win situation for those who would recruit protestors-- look pious now, look at something quite different later on.

This sort of thing has been going on in many parts of Java and south Sulawesi, public burnings of the magazine, attempts to recruit volunteers for the war on Playboy, "sweeping" ie going into bookstores and making sure they don't stock the mag (they don't, too scared I guess).
It's clearly a great opportunity for the Islamic Defenders Front to raise their err, profile, and throw their limited weight around.

I have a theory that apart from anything else, the reason Islam is asserting itself so agressively in Indonesia is the fact that having more Muslims than any country in the world is one of Indonesia's few claims to fame.
A pity. Islam notwithstanding, Indonesia's native Hindu derivative culture is something they could have rightly been proud of, and geographically, they are far enough removed from India (Nicobar islands notwithstanding) for them to be bunched in with the latter.

I can admit that. But the ACLU has no star, where the UN has Kofi. He's got that magnetic personality thing going. Sorta a little African dictator magnetic personality.
He's our world leader. Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is working a smaller, less ambitious, scope. Her only goal is to completely destroy the Consitution. She's off to a blazing start and hugging the rail with that bold New London v Kelo move she busted.
When that big hate-crime blasphemy case hits the Supremes, her work will then done. After that, she'll retire and some RINO lawyer will fill her slot.

I read somewhere that Islam, by discouraging contact between unrelated memberss of the opposite sex, quite unintentionally serves to promote homosexuality. There is more than enough evidence to back up this observation and I'm surprised more isn't made of the way that this religion distorts the sexuality of its adherents, by its critics.(It also has the curious effect of highly eroticising the relationship between first cousins of the opposite sex, presumably because family visits and get-togethers can provide those opportunities by which 'Cupid laughs at locksmiths'.)

It is very revealing that Muslims NEVER bother to protest the fantastic degradation and outright loss of human life caused by Islam. It never even occurs to them. By attempting to impose its chosen set of values on humanity, Islam has automatically sunk to a far, far lower one instead and its followers are so thoroughly zombie-ized they'll never see it.
And here we see yet another scene in Islamia straight out of "Night of the Living Dead."
