Hamas leader, al-Qaida money man meet

From UPI:

JERUSALEM -- A leader of the Palestinian Hamas organization has met with an al-Qaida fundraiser in Yemen, the Jerusalem Post reported Friday.

The meeting, two weeks ago at a fundraising event by the Hamas office in Yemen, was between Khaled Marshaal and Sheikh Abd al-Majid al-Zindani [link added -RB], said by the United States to be a fundraiser for al-Qaida and a spiritual leader of Osama bin Laden.

The Jerusalem Post report said that at the event Zindani praised Hamas suicide bombers and urged people to donate money to the organization, whose political wing won recent Palestinian elections in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and now control the Palestinian Authority government.

"The Hamas government is the Palestinian people's government today," Zindani said. "It is the jihad-fighting, steadfast, resolute government of Palestine."

Marshaal is a leader of Hamas in Damascus, the Syrian capital, which is the headquarters of Hamas' armed wing...

Zindani, who has also been a contact for the al-Qaida-linked Ansar al-Islam terror group, is a Yemini national and the founder of the Al Iman University in Sanaa, where American Taliban John Walker Lind studied before traveling to Afghanistan.

Why do fundraisers make me think of cake sales?

This is a bit OT, but I just saw this item and needed to post it somewhere. I first saw it mentioned on the engage website (www.engageonline.org.uk/blog). The following link is to a Yale University site presenting an abstract of a research report:

Now I have to boycott Yemen, too?

I guess those illegal rhino horn daggers I've been looking at will have to wait.

Just a quick update on that Yale University study I linked to above. I saw it posted today on engage. I got really excited and wanted to spread it around. But when I looked at the report more carefully, I saw that it is about a year old. I'm not sure why I did not encounter it before. Anyway, it's still an interesting report.

Thank goodness for the inventions of fences and walls! As we see in Israel, they sure come in handy sometimes! The Chinese found this out centuries ago when they were forced to deal with the apparently Islamized marauding Mongols.

And still, even with the above news item freshly printed, half the world continues to demand why Israel won't tear down that wall it built to keep the killer-zombies from Palestine out.

Also in attendence per al Sahwa, 12/7/2005:

"The leaders of resistance in Palestine
and Iraq renewed their intent to continue their legal struggle against the occupation forces.

Khaled Mashal, chair of the political office of Hamas,…renewed his pledge to continue resistance as a strategic choice to conquer occupation. He reviewed challenges that Arab and Islamic Umah faces at all levels and the pressure that America practices on Arab and Islamic nations and leaders to impose its dominance in the region and to support Zionist entity….

Hussein Hadrooj, member of the political office of the Lebanese Hezbullah, called upon resistance movements to carry their responsibility towards people and to consider the dangers around….

Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association in Iraq Hareth al-Dhari…also confirmed before the students rally the adherence to the constructive resistance choice in order to thoroughly crush occupation forces that constantly kill and oppress Iraqi people.

Also per the news agency of Yemen, SABA:
The Chief of Trustless Council of al-Quds foundation Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi said that the Sana’a conference of the foundationwas fruitful and came out with positive results. Upon his departure, Sheikh al-Qaradawi said that the donations reached about $ 4 millions for supporting the activities of the foundation.

President Saleh met with them all.

As if the political wing deserves any distinction from the rest of the organization.

UPI apparently didn't get the memo from Umm Nidal:

"The jihadist project completes the political one and the political project cannot be completed without jihad."

Seize the oil-fields,Seize the assets of Saudis, Kuwaitis' and all Arabs even remotely suspected of aiding and abetting Terrorism. Shut down the mosques & the madrassahs in Europe and the US & Australia. Then round them up, intern them and finally deport them. End of story.

There you have it.

A full program for the next 10 years.

After that: Fight the Mohammedans wherever you find them, never give the Mohammedans any Jiziya, never give the Mohammedans any technology or know-how, let the Mohammedans pay 10 X the price for medical care or assistance, never give a Mohammedan asylum, never give an inch...

You wanna bet that it works?
