More Iranian activity in Iraq: Al-Zarqawi planning to set up an Al-Qaeda army in Iraq with help from Iran's Revolutionary Guards. What's that? A Sunni group getting help from Shi'ites? Don't they realize that the learned Western analysts have told us that Sunnis don't work with Shi'ites? Al-Zarqawi must be some kind of simplistic Islamophobic propagandist with a magpie's knowledge of Islam garnered from armchair reading.
My Brother Against My Brother, But Both Of Us Against Our Cousin Alert from the TimesOnline, with thanks to JE:
THE leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, is attempting to set up his own mini-army and move away from individual suicide attacks to a more organised resistance movement, according to US intelligence sources.Faced with a shortage of foreign fighters willing to undertake suicide missions, Zarqawi wants to turn his group into a more traditional force mounting co-ordinated guerrilla raids on coalition targets.
Al-Qaeda is sending training and planning experts to help to set up the force and infiltrate members into Iraq with the assistance of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, the sources said.

If true, this is actually good news. Groups require coordination and control, both of which expose them to multiple forms of observation.
I don't think Zarqawi will find an "In-Your-Face" presence will work against the Pros from Dover. Our side invented that game.

kojak, that was the first thing that entered my mind.. they would actually have a force to counter the US military, l dont believe a word of that.. that would take brave real men to fight, no these slime islamafacists terrorist are use to fight from behind their women and children attacking from behind.. no its all talk if you look at logic

I agree with Lulu. I never saw a brave FF or Iraqi, the few that attempted to fight were stoned. Bravery is not something they understand. This is all just a word game, no ones army, professional or not can match the training of ours. Our kids with the rucksacks and rifles would fall over laughing at an attempt to attack them force on force. Even al qaeda is not that stupid.

It's too bad Zarqawi did not adopt this tactic three years ago.
The troops would've been home already (+2,000).
If he does try it, it won't be for long. Either they'll all be dead or they' revert back to their cowardly tactics.

This story is highly dubious.
Terrorism has been and always will be the tactic of choice for these Islamic cowards.
A leopard does not change its spots.

Somebody ought to take this al-Zarqawi guy out. Another Abu whose disappearance would not be missed.
"Faced with a shortage of foreign fighters willing to undertake suicide missions..."
Hmmm, what's the matter? Palestinian women not producing fast enough?

emet-veritas,
Thankyou, I wish I hadn't seen it...But, thankyou. I will share this with as many people as I can.

Emit-Veritas;
I'm very familar with this kind of carnage. I witnessed it in Beirut in 1983. I won't go into detail out of respect for my fellow Marines that survived the bombing of the barracks. I wish that everyone that views Islam as a "religion of peace" could see this footage. We always see the edited news version of the bombings but never the human damage that these bombing cause. The last picture should make all abortion and right to die think twice about their agenda. And to think, this is what other Islamist/jihadists have planned for the United States.

I must apologize for the grammar in my post. The footage really got to me. As I said, It brought back memories of 1983 Beirut, Lebanon. I'm still emotional about that day.
