Bosnian Defense Minister Denies Secret Shipment of Arms to Iraq

Speaking of the jihad in the Balkans, here is a report from China's Xinhua news agency, with thanks to DFS:

BELGRADE (Xinhua)-- Bosnia's defense minister denied on Thursday any clandestine shipment of arms to Iraq, saying its weapons delivery to the country was legal and that they had gone into the possession of the new Iraqi government, according to newsreports from Bosnia-Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo.

The remarks came as a response to Amnesty International's claim that Bosnia had sold some 200,000 small arms to Iraq in a secret and non-transparent fashion, and that part of the shipment had not ended up with Iraqi security forces as intended.

In an official statement, Bosnia-Herzegovina's Defense Minister Nikola Radovanovic termed the claims as unfounded, insisting that all of the 200,000 guns had ended up with the new Iraqi government and their security forces.

Former Military Intelligence chief Aharon Ze'evi warned Monday morning of an impending world jihad "tsunami" that he said may soon descend on the entire Middle East.

Ze'evi, speaking at a Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies conference in Tel Aviv University, said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinijad has been overheard promising the "end of history in two or three years."

Ze'evi recommended that the Iranian threats be taken seriously, saying that Tehran will soon have nuclear warhead compatible surface-to-surface missiles with a range of 5,000 kilometers, putting Europe within striking distance.

Storagemanager, about your first post.

Could you keep the religious nutcasery out of it please.

Let's try and keep the discussion intelligent.

Thank You, Bosnia

I fogot that the Muslim countries of the world jumped to your aid when the Serbians where doing to you what the Ottoman empire did to them

I forgot that the Western countries didn't do a damn thing to stop it

You are perfectly entitled to give those weapons to Iraqi insurgents

Thanks

p.s does anyone have a site where i can see the history of the Balkans, and how Bosnia/Serbia become predominently Muslim?

Sarajevo...? Sarajevo...?

Where have I heard that name before?

Glad to see they are keeping their historical tendencies intact.

Isn't that a line in the Cranberries' song "Bosnia"?

I wonder what Delores Riordan thinks about it now?

Infidel Pride-

Don't know that Riordan tune offhand... I'll have to dig out my cassettes and see if it is on one I have.

Personally, I prefer the Cranberries' song about Islamic jihadists:

"ZOMBIE".

P.S. Infidel Pride-

I see what you mean.

Cranberries- "To The Faithful Departed"- Side B, last song. Got it! (No lyrics included on the little foldy sheet, just a magenta backing?)

"Delores O'Riordan Burton", it says , so she must've married.

(You don't hear many songs with a musical saw on them, "political" or not.)

Ironically ending with the theme song for the EU:

"Go To Sleep" played by a music box.

That song aside, there was another one "Hollywood" with lyrics that ran

You must have nothing more with your time to do
There's a war in Russia and Sarajevo too
So to hell with what you're thinking
To hell with your narrow mind
Somehow, I get the impression that by "narrow mind", she meant the Russians and Serbs, not the Chechens and Bosnian-Muslims.

Oh, to hell with my impressions....
