Another misunderstander of Islam. Dean Esmay, call your office. "Murder of Bangladeshi judges was Allah’s will: militant," from AFP, with thanks to Twostellas:
DHAKA -An Islamic militant leader accused of waging a bloody bombing campaign to impose Islamic laws in Bangladesh told a court he ordered the murder of two judges because it was Allah’s will, police said on Tuesday.“The judges were murdered at the instruction of Allah. We should be rewarded, not punished for following the order of killing judges,” Shaikh Abdur Rahman was quoted as saying by investigating officer Munshi Atiqur Rahman....
At least 28 people, including lawyers, policemen and four suicide bombers, have been killed since last August in the attacks.
“Those who are engaged in man-made courts, especially lawyers, police and judges, will be punished in the court of Allah,” added Rahman, who was appearing in court in the southern town of Jhalokathi on Monday.
“Murder to those who are against Allah’s law,” he was quoted as saying.
The group wanted to overturn the country’s existing secular legal system dating back to the British colonial period and replace it with Islamic law.

Shaikh Abdur Rahman was quoted as saying by investigating officer Munshi Atiqur Rahman....
Islam needs to work on getting more names. Over a billion people and they insist on sharing only a hundred different last names. Why is that? Makes it harder to keep track of them at the airpot. Can't they invent more last names? But then again, islam has a poor track record at innovation and invention.
But still, what about Rahmaninski? Perhaps, too Jewish? What about Rahmanwood, or maybe O'Rahman, too Irish? And they have to work on first names. They can't all be Mohammad or some version of Abdullah. What about Larry, or Harry, or Steve? They need to liven things up.

From the department of "Heinrich Himmler heads Nazi hunters", the article continues...
Following the blasts, Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia conceded that her government, a four-party Islamist-allied coalition, had failed to spot the danger posed by Muslim militants and she vowed to root them out.Posted by: Infidel Pride

Islamic Law? Oh say it isn't so!
I thought according to the neocon dimwits everyone is just dying for democracy or any other bright ideas we have for them. Oops, I guess what the want is exactly what we don't want for them.
I guess, from the election results in that part of the world, if they can elect hardline fundamentalists and put them in office, institute strict Islamic Law, they probably wouldn't mind a little democracy.

-somethingaboutislam,
How about "Top" Rahman? Most guys with that surname tend to be rather noodly anyway.

We can clear this up quite easily: Simply suppoena Allah to confirm His "will". Put Him under oath, in court, and let Him clear the whole thing up. After that, case closed!

Click on Dhaka under yahoo images. This is the most poor country in the world, and, i would argue, the beauty of the capital puts even Washington to shame. Ironically, it was designed by an American jewish architect Louis kahn. This was his last project(major project), and I don't think he got a dime for it. He designed a stunning mosque in Dhaka. In the movie My Architect, his son travels to Moslem Bangledesh and view his father's works. Kahn is considered to be a Moses like figure by the founders. I've never seen such stunning beauty as Dhaka's inside and Mosque.
What does this observation have to do with Jihad Watch? Maybe nothing. Maybe everything. Strange isn't it that out of a billion Muslims, they have to import a Jew or Christian to design their masterpiece. Is it that Bangledesh is poor. Yes, this could be an issue as well, but why not pick a great Saudi architect? Are there any, or is creativity and excellence the sole domain of dhimmi. On the on hand, Western excellence is something to be proud of, and I am, but isn't it sad that Islam stiffles this essential creativity . . . this essential human quality.

So true biorabbi. They had to bring in a Jew to design their own mosque. Talk about a dhimmi. I'm surprised they didn't kill him when he was done.
But you know anything of value in the middle east was built by non-muslims. The great airports, the resorts, the highways, Israel's irrigation system. Even the pyramids. The muslims build nothing. They basically squat on the land. They don't even build their own mosques. They use foreign contractors for their expertise and labor.
And the oil. The oil drilling operations and refinery operations were all created by the west. The west found the oil, drilled it out, built the refineries, bult the pipelines, and then in the end, the west also has to pay for it. Strange isn't it? The entire process was designed and built and managed by the "pigs and apes." All the muslims do is count the money. And even for that, they probably import a Jewish accountant. LOL.
Then to add insult to injury, they take this western oil money which they have done not one iota of work to earn, and buy themselves gold palaces. The rest they give to terrorists to destroy the very culture that made them rich in the first place.

I agree with somethingaboutislam completely. You know, I see the reconstructions of the buildings by the Great Pyramid of Giza, and I feel such sadness, a sense of loss when I realize that muslims destroyed the signs of such a great civilization. The great pyramid remained cos they could not figure out a way to move the lightest stone of this massive structure(the lightest stone weighs 20 tonnes). And then the British colonized Egypt and saved the pyramid, else the muslims would have dynamited it. What is now called as afghanistan is a barren country now. It once had majestic palaces and well planned cities. I think signs will be found by archaeologists by digging, but the muslims razed them to the ground cos they were built by Hindus. Israel exports fruits, but palestinians(another name for terrorists), cannot even grow their own food on gaza strip. The people of mo can only destroy.

Vito Corleone should have been a Moslem, then he would have been doing God's will when he ordered a hit on Infidel judges.

Bio Rabbi;
I asked this question of a pro-Islam blogger on this website just a couple of weeks ago about Arab agriculture. This person who's name escapes me at the moment, has yet to respond to the question. You mentioned the Gaza Strip and how the Israelis cultivated the ground there and rasied crops of food. And now that the Palestinians have taken it over the only thing that they've been able to raise is dust. I mean let's look at how the Muslims are able to drill for oil. They can't! Not without American technology and equipment. Their oil refineries, American made. When you add all of the benifitial advancements made by Arabs and Muslims, it's pretty much narrowed down to the creation of jihads, dhimmitude, terrorism, the koran, the kabal, wahhabism, jizya, sharia law, ayatollahs, imans, caliphates, shutans, jinnis, the sword of Islam, hashish, suicide/homicide bombers, and the pedophile, phalse prophet, child molestin Mohammad, Ayatollah Khomeini, Osama bin Laden, September 11th, 2001 and other things that the world could do without.
The bloggers name just came to me. It was Daddy Phil. It was the April 30, 2006 article, "Jihad murder videos big sellers in Pakistan." He has yet to answer my question and I'm still waiting.
