TEHERAN - Iran’s hardline government said on Monday it would not negotiate on its controversial uranium enrichment programme and vowed the country would continue to work towards an industrial-scale capacity.“The right to enrichment within the framework of the NPT and under the surveillance of the IAEA is an absolute right,” government spokesman Gholam Hossein Elham told reporters.
“This right and its implementation must be guaranteed. This is not something on which we can back down, whether for research or industrial purposes. This is not something on which we can negotiate or back down,” he said.

what i find amazing is mamoud and the mullahs have told us their plans,Chaos to bring on the 12 imam.Gen wesley clark and his gang of wana be leaders refuse to listen.but anyone who has any bible knowledge already knows iran and russia against Israel was foretold along time ago.

LGF reader “Pro-Bush Canuck” says he’s received a threat from Toronto Star editor, Haroon Siddiqui, to sue him for libel for pointing out Siddiqui’s very obvious Islamist agenda. Case in point: here’s an LGF entry from last year about an editorial by Siddiqui condemning the nonexistent desecration of Korans at Guantanamo Bay, long after it was obvious to most of the sane world that the story was false: Star Columnist Condemns Nonexistent Desecration.

The more one examines Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's rhetoric, the more one understands its illogic.
When researching Satan from the Old and New Testament data, one concludes that the essence of Satan is not only evil but illogic. Reason comes from the God of the Bible. Unreasonableness finds its source in Satan.
If Adam and Eve had not disobeyed God, there would be mortal reasoning in perfect line with divine reasoning. But when they disobeyed, their reasoning quotient was severely damaged so that the mortal free will tends toward illogic rather than logic.
When one then is given purposefully over to other than the God of the Bible, one's illogic becomes paramount. Such is the case with false religions such as Islam, the latter more a killing cult than a religion among world religions.

Iran Condemns US Intervention in Venezuela's Affairs
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi Monday strongly condemned the United States' threats and interventionist policies towards Venezuela.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Bureau, Asefi viewed US naval maneuvers in the Caribbean Sea an indication of Washington's pressure and bullying attitude towards Venezuelan government and the independent policies of President Hugo Chavez.
He further assessed any tension dangerous to the region and a cause of arm race among Latin American states.
The Spokesman condemned the United Sates' increasing threats against the Venezuelan government and nation and Washington's arms embargo against Caracas and further voiced Islamic Republic's solidarity and support for the Venezuelan government in dealing with the bullying policies of the US.

Could someone please tell me what "1938 Alert" means? I've seen Robert use that term a lot. Is it, as I suspect, to mean a parallel to the supplication to Hitler that eventually led to war, as is happening right now with all of Islam?

Why should iran do anything but delay for time as always? They're muslims and therefore can't be trusted when talking to an infidel. They've probably already got "missing" russian nukes installed on undisclose missles and are waiting to use them at an appropriate time. Pretty pessimistic, but smoke and mirror tactics have certainly been effective in the past when dealing with the euro/american dhimmis.
PS - I just finished Oriana Fallaci's "The Pride and the Rage"; what a stunning author, so well spoken, insightful and an artist with wordsmanship. A "must read" for all - I can't wait to start "The Force of Reason" tonight.

There is a way for islam to attack us far more comprehensively than getting any puny atomic bomb. If they want to kill themselves, they could nuke a city. If they want to destroy our civilization, they could use another weapon.
Yes, this weapon would wipe them out too, but they are suicidal anyway.

Ahmadinejad looks like some homeless person and has some of the clownlike aspects Hitler had prior to WW2. It's easy to be fooled by his clown-like appearance. But nobody should underestimate his malice. This guy is a hater.
It's a catch-22. On the one hand Ahmadinejad provokes-begs to be stopped-and if he isn't stopped now-he will have to be stopped later. Ahmadinejad-Marid will be the clown of death for many-sooner or later.
