Why is this news not headlined in every newspaper in the west, the lead on every newscast ?
This is the global village; these little charmers can be walking our streets next week, or are already doing so.
If my little village had no police, no security, and the guy living round the corner and down the lane announced to all and sundry that he was going to kill me and my family, i would do my very best to get him first, kill him.
WE seem to be waiting for another 9/11; must let the bad guys go first, eh ? What is this, some sort of sport contest, Marquis of Queensbury rules, must play fair old chap ?
Maybe, as the 'big guy', we have no choice but to hold our fire for the time being, for the sake of appearances if nothing else. Ultimately, we will have to face those boys and girls in a showdown. The one hope we all have, that the Iranian people will, themselves, take down their loathsome mullah government, is unlikely, given the bloodthirsty despotism of the regime, not unlike Iraq under saddam, Germany under hitler, or the USSR under stalin, not places where a change of government is to be expected.

Ok, so we know there's going to be a massive ceremony with a lot of these new "troops" in attendance. Why not drop a devastating bomb attack on them then and there? They will get what they want (martyrdom, virgins, dying for Allah, etc.), and we will get what we want (a decrease in the number of terrorists, at least temporarily). That's what I'd call a win-win situation.

In fact, why isn't the US, UK, Russia or Israel doing this already when all the scarf-wearing face-hiding tough guys with AK-47's and RPG's take to the streets in teeming masses in whatever location? It's what the military refers to as a target-rich environment.

If we were really fighting a "war" wouldn't be doing this already???

Of the three choices I would choose Salmon Rushdie because it is possible to kill a man without blowing yourself up. Unless you're a muslim, in which case, it's always recommended to blow yourself up no matter what you're after.

Here's a strategy for defeating islam. Let's create a common housefly that somewhat resembles mohammad, just enough to offend muslims. Then, out of pride and fury, everyone of those houseflies will have to be targeted for death. Which means untold numbers of suicide bombers will need to be recruited.
