"Family's fears at East London terror protest," from the TimesOnline, with thanks to LGF:
Muslims demonstrated outside an East London police station today against last week’s anti-terror raid by armed officers. In a sometimes tense stand-off, about 100 protestors were heavily outnumbered by police as fundamentalists waved placards and called for the implementation of Sharia Law in Britain.
The numbers were small and the demonstration peaceful following an appeal for calm by Scotland Yard’s Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman....
Small, yes, but four times larger than the Free Muslims March Against Terrorism last year.
Anjem Choudary, former UK head of the Islamic group al-Muhajiroun, and right-hand man to Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, the so-called Cleric of Hate, told demonstrators: "We have a right to defend ourselves. We will defend ourselves as a community, our lives, our honour. Cowardice and Islam cannot be in the heart of a Muslim at the same time."He added: "The Muslim community today are treated as second class citizens. There is a shoot and ask questions later policy which has been facilitated by a whole raft of Draconian laws.
"The police at the end of the day are implementing policies introduced by this government."
The noisy demonstration outside Forest Gate police station was contained within a police pen opposite. Protestors waved placards against police tactics and shouted: "Hands off Muslims. Tony Blair is a terrorist and Tony Blair, watch your back."
In a chilling aside, a statement put out by al-Ghurabaa, followers of Alh us-Sunnah Wal Jamaa, said that the killing of Muslims was the price Britons have to pay because of the ‘real terrorists in our midst’.

The major proclamation says:
"The Federal Troops, the members of the Regular Police Force and all Special Police Officers have been authorized to KILL any and all persons found engaged in looting or in the commission of any other crime…"

Don't get wound up by these demo's. These are the idiots of Islam, they do a great job of "radicalising" the ordinary Brit against them.
More demo's please.
Anjem Choudary is a vainglorious bigmouth bigot. Who has absolutely NO chance of ever achieving his aims. Leave the little shit to spew out his bile.

I have posted many times- Muslims make the worst immigrants. Even if one generation is OK and hard working, the next will revert to the norm of Jihad. Any nation that imports these head cases only has itself to blame.

From the article:
"A bearded Irishman from Dublin, a convert of five years who gave his name as Khaled, said: "The Prophet Mohammed said ‘you should carry weapons’ and he is right"
I would think this is Khalid Kelly, who doesn't seem to believe in taquiyya. He says in an interview with CS Monitor:
Some of the people tell you Islam is a religion of peace because they think that then you'll want to convert," says Dublin-born convert Khalid Kelly, who soaks up Abu Osama's sidewalk sermon. "But you cannot possibly say Islam is a religion of peace; jihad is not an internal struggle."
Armed struggle was the last thing on Mr. Kelly's mind until his conversion several years ago. "I was your average Irish drunkard, partying and so on," he says. Arrested in Saudi Arabia, where he worked as a nurse, for brewing his own alcohol,
Kelly found Islam in prison - an increasingly common arena for Muslim conversion and radicalization.
After his return to Britain in 2002, Kelly quickly became a disciple of Bakri, a radical Syrian-born cleric based in Britain, who is most widely known for celebrating 9/11, and more recently, blaming 7/7 on British foreign policy. Through Bakri's circle, which is now largely underground, Kelly met Abu Osama. Now, they gravitate toward obscure mosques that nurture homegrown extremists.
"The imam here" - Kelly nods at the mosque - "said, 'Pray for the victory of the mujahideen in all the world.' He's talking about Osama bin Laden, but he can't say that."

dennisw...most of us here are not allowed to say exactly what we think or feel as this website has to be seen to be PC and not hatemongering. So even if a close relative has been beheaded you cannot rant your anger here if it is directed at Muslim generally.
When a Muslim can PROVE that he is indeed a patriot(as opposed to just saying it) then he deserves to be treated as one but until then he is suspect. Rather like the concept of citizen(one who has proven his fidelity and patriotism and deserving of state support) and civilian(one who just lives in that state and is entitled to nothing). These parasites who have no intention of assimilating and are antiwest from the start but who are first to claim state support for their 7.3 children should nevver be allowed in any western country.
As far as I am concerned there are 2 sorts of Muslims: jihadists and potential jihadists and until the selfish braindead that we all call politicians realise this we are in deep effluent.
I wonder if this post will be deleted as are so many of my posts.

It would be nice to see the back of Livingstone, but it wouldn't help here. He's a media whore who's always available for a nasty quote, but his powers are fairly limited.
Still, if the US would like to exchange him for, say, Guiliani, I'd be only too pleased. ;-)

Zathras, no need to be perceived as hate mongering. Just go along with the ethos of Jihad Watch and let the Islamo's hang themselves through their own cowardly deeds and their arrogant and weasel words. It's no longer un-PC to have a negative opinion of Muslims, and those opinions are becoming firmer by the day as the civilised world wakes up.

The more of these sort of demonstrations, soberly reported by a national newspaper of the stature of the Times the more the truth of Islam is made known to the population at large.
The genie is out of the bottle and it won't go back now.

Not hard to work out why proselytisation works so well in gaols.
Bash an old lady to steal her purse and if she dies you could feel a little guilty.
However if you are now a Muslim then you get a jihadic gold star which guarantees access to the fabled 72 virgins(I often wondewr if they are the same recycled 72 virgins for everybody renovated by some plastic surgeon relative of Muhammad...otherwise a 72x1 female majority in heaven must see a slightly less misogynistic islam).
Islam the balm for the criminal with a conscience!!
Don't feel guilty. Become a Muslim and feel proud!!
If they were just interested in helping the dregs of society you could commend them but they are only interested in using them to forge an internal weapon to hurt the western state.
They fool these idiots into believing that they are actually wanted and respected by muslims. but in reality they are just cannon fodder in the janissary tradition.

Just watched a documentary about the Titanic tonight on TV. The argument by the company bosses was "too many life-boats scare the passengers...! The Titanic is unsinkable, we should display confidence..."
Sounds familiar?
Like the argument we so often hear these days: "Making laws against terror or cracking down on Moahmmedan crime will only breed more terrorism..."

Zathras, I completely agree. There's nothing wrong with what you say. I do get sick of the idea, even from people on this site that not all muslims are bad. I live in the UK and I am surrounded by them. I can tell you that every single one I have met is bad. The only one's who aren't are the one's I know who have been rejected by their families, girls who have non-muslim, white boyfriends or are considered too western. But they're not muslims any more so they don't count. The only people who don't consider every muslim to be a potential threat are the people who are not surrounded by muslims

Great Idea Granny, here is another; I bring my laptop on trips and if I see a muslim (ok, I hunt till I find some) sit next to them and bring up jihadwatch. They really seem upset, lol. Truth hurts them I guess, most airports have a way to get online. It works well in any hot spot. The extra bennie is you can use it to bring more people into the light. I pick articles and just ask loudly "have you heard about this?" works everytime and makes layovers fly by.

I couldn't agree more Turbinehead. Take a look at the pic that accompanies the Times story - over on the left. Someone is holding a sign that says
(can't read)r against terror =
(can't read)r against Islam
Talk about letting the cat out of the bag, the horse out of the barn .....

Ronin:
Coooool idea with the laptop!
I am going to save up for one and do same.Keep it up!
Then I will just have to overcome my fear of travel.
I was in the US on 9/11. Not in NY, but it has taken a lot of therapy to overcome my fear and I am not completely over it yet.

good to hear the truth is getting out into the right channels. The more stupid things they do,,the better. People are going to notice eventually.
Right now tho' many of my friends think I am obssessed. I feel like Cassandra before the fall of Troy!

Islam, the "religion of offense".
Everything discomforts the thin-skinned, and Mohammadism seems to take away the outer layer of mediating sense, leaving a hard core of permanent irritability.
Ready to fly into rages over cartoons, Koran rumors, or any other imagined slight to their "honor".
Better to let them go sort this out in the main Muslim country before they are considered stable enough to travel to infidel lands again.
Muslims to Mecca to reform Islam! needs to be the motto of the Ummah.
We in the West have better things to do than babysit the theocratically incontinent.
A Hadj to learn humility and humanity is needed.
Since cutting people's heads off hasn't quite worked.

Granny, this is excellent. I do the same in Paris with similar words. I also leave health warnings in corans and other religious literature in bookshops.
In bookshops leave corans on the floor, put bbq recipe books in the islamic section and always ask if they have any of Robert's or Bat's books in stock. Read a Coran with the left hand in front of a muslim
Never hesitate to leave porc in the Halal section of supermarkets, or even slip some bacon into the shopping trolley of the beardy burka types.
On the undergroud. Sit next to muslims, the more extreme ones will resent such close proximity to an infidel. Touch their clothes, they have to wash them after.
Our stickers with a cute piggy saying "Sick to death of Islamisation" along with a few choice quotes are also finding their way in bus shelters, phone boxes, photo booths and in the metro.
We have lots of different literature we leave lying around. A two page anti coran tract which you can see here http://www.france-echos.com/IMG/pdf/presentation_islam.pdf , a fatwa against the croissant and we are working on a poster for Infidel Airlines, (safest airline company, never been hijacked, porc meals, and doesn't use Charles de Gaulle airport which is now Dar al Islam).
It all seems like tiny drops of water in a huge ocean of indifference (and anger), but it is our duty to inform. We are the John the Baptists waiting for the time when, from the inevitable war will emerge a leader who is ready.
The scenario envisaged by Mark Steyn is inevitable only in the case in which we do nothing. The European civil war, which will be triggered by a US bombardment of Iran will engulf us within the next couple of years. Now is really the time for building friendships with fellow resisters. Our nice muslim moderate friends will not be of any help at this time.

There was an item on BBC news today about Mohaammed Abdul Bar, the new Muslim Council of Britain chief taking advantage of the publicity over the Forest Gate terrorism raid to perform a little da'wa: apparently he's announced that Britons should learn from Islam and follow the example of Muslims over such matters as drinking and gambling - they might even benefit from arranged marriages!
Sure, and Islam has one great lesson for us all: a belief package that includes polygamy, killing of apostates, the subordination of women, aspiring to annihilate all other religions etc etc should be fought like the devil to the very end.

I wish to strong disagree with Zathras about why muslim proselytisation works to so well in jails. I would suggest it is because are bored in jails and have little to do, but think about violence and life. Given that most people in jails are thugs, when they reflect on their life and look for meaning, they find that Islam is their most choice thuggish choice on the ready to eat religion menu. It's logical that they would buy it. Their guilt has nothing to do with it.

Anjem Choudary states that, "The Muslim community today are treated as second class citizens..."
Now let me see, if I as a Christian were to move to say Iran, I would be required to pay the tax, and I would be subject to various restrictions on my civil rights to the point that I would have next to none. I could not marry, I would have to defer to true believers when waiting in line, or for just about anything, they would probably figure a way to take my children and forcibly convert them, I couldnt ride a horse (much less drive a car), I would need to dismount from my Donkey every time I passed a true believer, and god help me if one of the locals took a shine to my wife.
The double standard is so shocking, as to be ridiculous.

Pediomelum...I see nothing to disagree with about what you say above and in fact you are simply adding to what I said as opposed to subtracting from it.
On my several visits to prisons in my younger days it was quite aparent that inmates were of 2 sorts: those who had a conscience and those who did not and my post above was directed at those who did as you might have expected better of them
However, the hardcore, violent, paranoid criminal also sees Islam as a vehicle for organised revenge versus the society that placed him there. Remember it is NEVER their fault that they are there but the fault of society and revenge is so sweet.
So NP with your post.

Why can't they be competent enought to get blair. Please jihadists do the world a favour get blair. It will be there loss as he is one of the most projihadist leaders in the world. Only problem for every dhimmi like blair there is another to replace him.
