But when Palestinian civilians are either cynically manouevered into harm's way by their own, or are caught up in a genuine accident, the Palestinians cry foul and milk the situation for every ounce of world sympathy they can get.

This should be passed along to every media outlet that has reported on the issue. Posters here should be pressuring media outlets to report on this. I have just had a discussion with the newsdesk at TV ONE in Auckland, who said they were unaware of this report. They indicated they would investigate further (however, they indicated they were sceptical of any reports coming from the IDF). Yet, they had no difficulty reporting that the IDF killed seven Palestinians based on reports from the Hamas led PA.

How right you are. As always, the educated get to play with words, deliberately shading statements, subtlely twisting definitions, omitting the facts which could change opinion, all in a usually effective ploy to fool the ignorant masses. And I don't say that to be mean to the masses, just that most people don't devote enough time, with enough cynisism, to the news, especially world events (witness the number of high school grads who recently coundn't find Lousiana on a map).

Those we call the Left wing mass media are all college educated. They get to frame the debate on ANY topic, from context, to more importantly, defining the terms of an issue, to make one side wrong before the facts even emerge ("nuclear option")

I sit in front of my TV, watching the supposedly right wing FOX news network, and I actually expect at time to see Rod Serling come on with the intro to Twilight zone.

I was upset when I saw the girl in the video screaming as she looked for her father. But, then I remembered the google video called Pallywood. So scepticism required a closer second look. How is it that the video did not look like a 'home video' but instead like a professional video? How was the camera operator right there to video the event? So soon, in fact that the little girl had not even gotten up yet to look for her father? Why was no one consoling her but letting her run screaming? Had it taken a while for her to get up or was the camera operator there to film something else, like a rocket being sent into Israel for a propoganda film? Why don't the media ask these questions?

FYI - the Tabari quotes and I believe also the Ishaq quotes from the ahadiths are not considered the most authentic by muslims and therefore not really valid (undesputable) in the eyes of most muslims - that is per our muslim lurker Mohideen. I know that they are real hadiths but the level of the hadiths acceptance varies and the ones considered most reliable are Bukhari and Muslim. You can check with Mr. Spencer to be sure on that since I am not an expert.

I don't know why Tabari is not considered reliable since he spendt his life collecting the stories and researched them thoroughly from what I have read. Maybe because they contain the most vicious stories and they don't want to believe them?

This case is different in one respect to the Mohamed al-Dura affair. We now know what to look for, thanks to sites like The Second Draft, and to Nidra Poller, and remembering, plain and simple. How many years after al Dura did the truth finally come out?...and it is still coming out. Now compare: How many hours for the Texas Guard memos to be shown as the fakes that they were? How many MINUTES did it take for Jesse MacBeth to get reamed by real Army Rangers and Special Ops guys? Al Dura happened in 2000. Reports began to surface many months afterwards, but a thorough investigation took several years. The details were exhaustive in Poller's report.
Look at this, though. Days. Days is all it is taking to show this sham for what it is. In a war like this, images are everything. The quicker we can debunk the propagandists and turn their own weapons on them, the less likely their disinformation will be effective in the future.

It really gives you some insight into the twisted and devious corridors within the Muslim mind to know just how afraid of the truth they have to be to lie so much. It is not all just trying to fool western media. Mnay of them do beleive in their own lies. I suppose that as they also believe in all of Muhammad's lies it isn't surprising.

Is it just myself who has the impression that the whole edifice of Islamic truth is one dreadfully corrupt construct: rotten to the core and whose foundations are so potentially unstable that no building inspector is allowed to think about it let alone inspect it and comment upon it?

I always thought that the rigidity of Islamic thought was simply an example of fanatacism in action. But now I see it as a selfsealing layer to keep the whole construct free of truth leaks as light tends to erode rotten materials and allowing it to look in on islam may bring it all down.

The photos of Abbas with the little girl who was "mourning" over the loss of her dad, always rings "staged" just like after the Al-Dura case or the Jenin massacre (of 1 when the guy jumped out of the coffin and broke his neck [divine intervention?]) there was Yassir Araputz in one photo shoot visiting the father of the murdered boy (by his own troops) or Sheikh Yassin (Araputz's dear colleague) also handing a Koran to the family of the murdered boy. Always staged.

Why, one wishes to know, was the clear-cut Israeli denial -- something that is never given without incontrovertible proof (for the Israelis tend always to assume blame at once, far too quickly, as they did in the Mohammad al-Dura case, rather than sensibly suggest that a full investigation is necessary, one more sign of their amazing inabilility to intelligently present their case befor e the world) -- was this denial buried at the end of a story in The New Duranty Times (by Steven Erlanger, whose bored lack of sympathy toward Israel is palpable), and has hardly appeared anywhere else.
