Iranian spokesman: Zionist regime will burn in the fire started by itself

1938 Alert: "Asefi: Zionist regime will burn in the fire started by itself," from the Islamic Republic News Agency, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi here Sunday said that the Zionist regime will eventually burn in the flame of the fire started by itself.

Asefi made the remark while speaking to domestic and foreign reporters in this week's briefing session as he pointed to the recent attacks launched by the Zionists on the Gaza Strip, during which they kidnapped a number of Palestinian officials.

Turning to the extremely bitter incidents in the occupied lands, he said that the inefficient and wrong policies of the Zionist regime accounted for them.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the Zionist regime is enraged seeing `the free elections in Palestine and taking charge of affairs by the popular government-elect', after which it has taken `insane measures'.

He said that the new crisis started after innocent individuals were kidnapped and taken hostage by the Zionist regime.

Stressing that `the moves of the Zionist regime are against any international criterion', he dismissed the pretext for such measures and said that the regime itself took inhuman measures.

He referred to `the growing isolation of the Zionist regime on the international scene' and `the continuity of resistance of the Palestinian people as other reasons for their fury.

Asefi said that given the Zionists intend to damage the economy and infrastructure of Gaza Strip, the international community should pressurize them to avoid disrupting the flow of relief aid to the Palestinian people, including food, medicine and fuel.

What a dissembler. The Israelis handed over the economy and infrastructure of Gaza to the Palestinians, including the greenhouses that were worth many millions. The Palestinians destroyed the greenhouses and used Gaza as a base for jihad attacks on Israel. If they had not done so, would Israel have done anything to the economy and infrastructure of Gaza? Of course not.

The Islamic Republic News Agency must gave hired Baghdad Bob. These folks are so disconnected from reality even Raelians are in awe.

As the Israelis prepared their incursion, Palestinians defiantly challenged the Jews to come to Gaza to find their graves. Now Hamas and its electors are all in hiding--those who haven't been arrested, that is.

Yes, of course, Israel will burn in the fire it started. OK, Bob. Thanks for sharing.

Note that the arresting of Hamas officials is termed kidnapping, but there is not a single reference to the actual kidnapping that started it all.

May as well listen to the followers of Rael--peace be upon him.

"Asefi said that given the Zionists intend to damage the economy and infrastructure of Gaza Strip ..." Huh, what economy and what infrastructure? An economy based on jizya and an infrastructure based on bomb making?

Far from worrying about Israel 'burning in fire, taking innocent cuddly terrorists as hostages, blah, blah, blah' I just hope to God that the Israeli leadership has finally run out of its misguided good-will and has decided to kick ass at long last. Maybe they have realised that, no matter what they do to defend themselves, the outside world will scream blue murder, thanks to the lies and disinformation of the MSM.

I believe that Germany's late and unlamented Minister for Propaganda would be extremely proud of what passes for a 'journalist' in the Western world these days. He could never have imagined they would learn his lessons so well!

"Pressurize them" LOL. No, I get it--it's not Baghdad Bob.

It's salahudin-khalid-Abu America-lionheart-Arian!

"He said the new crisis started after innocent individuals were kidnapped and taken hostage by the Zionist regime."
article-

In other words, this new "crisis" is the direct result of Israel taking a stand against the rather deceptive kidnapping orchestrated by the Paleos. Certainly indicative of what is to be expected from these types: ie, "your armed defense is a crime against 'humanity', while our crimes are just the will of Allah being played out."

Rhetorical question:

Can these people ever open their mouths without spewing lies and propaganda?

"Pressurize them". LOL

Yes, one assumes they meant that the international community (whoever they are) "should press them to [fail to takes the necessary steps to secure Gaza]".

It's tires and similar inflatables that one pressurizes.

Re: Iranian spokesman: Zionist regime will burn in the fire started by itself

More projection from Iran and Co. The spokesman means "Iran will burn in the fire started by itself". Next we'll be told that Israel wants to drive Iran into the sea. The charge of being set-up or framed is another window into their mind that is good for a brief laugh.

I wonder what the chuckle-head president of the Aryans (Iran) will finaly do to make his death-wish come true. Whatever it will be will involve some kind of attack on Israel that he will claim was an attack on him.

I wonder what kind of security provisions would, or are being made for the Iranian Thug and Chief Amadinegad when he comes to visit Iraq? Here we have a man who has blatently called for the annihilation of Jews, the US, and other western countries and is a chief supporter of the terrorist group Hezbollah which is responcible for the death of hundreds of American troops. Are our own military going to give this lunatic security while he visits Iraq and attempts to undermine the American efforts to stabilize Iraq.

Well, close, Yojimbo. I presume they meant to "pressure" the West. I'm tellin' you, though, any way you look at it there is absolutely nothing funnier than a Muslim trying to speak English. You'd think they all went to the same middle school.

When will the world get really tired of the tirades of these third rate rantings of muslim croonies. l know it will most likely be the US and Israel who will stick out their necks and bomb the crap out of iranian thug in chief and his croonies. the rest of the West should just shut up or work with the US and silence Iran once and for all.

Israel do not put in credence in the words of the mos for God and America support you.

I think it's time for Mahmoud (of the mad mullahs) to take the old Billy Joel 8-Track out of the dash player of his Ford Pinto and smell the pistachio nuts.

We in the West may not have started the 'Fire' of Islam, but we've got the means to put it out -if "moderate" Muslims don't get a bucket brigade going to reform its homicidal dogmas fast.

Speaking of which--and looking frantically for wood to knock on--where exactly IS salahudin-khalid, anyway? Must be a three-day troll holiday.

"I wonder what kind of security provisions would, or are being made for the Iranian Thug and Chief Amadinegad when he comes to visit Iraq?"

Probably the same level of security we provide when we allow this madman to speak before the United Nations in New York. When are we going to find a politician with the balls to stand up to these bastards? The only reason we should ever allow someone like this into the U.S. is so we can assassinate him.

The Iranians want nukes? Let's give them some.

The best that American taxpayers can buy.

Here we have a man who has blatently called for the annihilation of Jews, the US, and other western countries and is a chief supporter of the terrorist group Hezbollah which is responcible for the death of hundreds of American troops.

Yes; and he has growing support among the arabs. He is only saying what many in the islamic kingdoms and Eurabia are thinking privately to themselves.

Are our own military going to give this lunatic security while he visits Iraq and attempts to undermine the American efforts to stabilize Iraq.

My little lamb; you have many questions indeed.

Since Mr. Spencer mentions disembling and the geenhouses - I cannot help but wonder what James D. Wolfensohn and his wealthy contributors who purchased the greenhouses have to say now.

I'm afraid that the kidnapped was killed last week. Why wasn't he shown alive in a video distributed to the international press? Actually, the Arabs took 3 soldiers prisoner from one tank. Two of them were shot right away and left for dead. Gil`ad was taken away still alive but I fear that he's dead already, based on these goons' usual mode of operation.

They wanted to bargain over pieces of clothing and body parts and corpses, as the Hizbullah did successfuly because of our foolish leaders.

Now here's a moment when I wish that Elders of Zion were truly as omnipotent and malevolent as the usual Islamic suspects allege that they are, and, channeling the powers they used to create the great Tsunami of Dec. 2004, invoked such physical forces as are required to set off massive earthquakes in and around where the Iranians are engaged in nuclear activities.

If any country is likely to burn in the fire it has itself laid, it's Iran.

Note the pseudo-liberal, Stalinist rhetoric of these goons. "growing international isolation." Doesn't that sound like Radio Moscow back in the 1950s?
