Hamas threatens Israeli infrastructure

Hamas is made up of lying hypocrites, of course. They have celebrated targeting Israeli civilians for years; now they pretend they are considering doing it in response to Israeli actions. There Are No Civilians In Israel Update from the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to all who sent this in:

Israel has not ruled out the possibility of releasing Palestinian prisoners in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, Hamas legislator Salah al-Bardaweel said on Sunday.

But Bardaweel's comments stand in stark contrast to the unequivocal comments made Sunday in the weekly cabinet meeting by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen Dan Halutz, and head of Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin, who all said that Israel would not release prisoners for Shalit because this would only encourage more and more kidnapping attempts.

Meanwhile, Hamas's armed wing, Izaddin al-Kassam, on Sunday threatened to attack infrastructure facilities inside Israel, including schools, hospitals and universities. The threat, the first of its kind since Hamas won the parliamentary election last January, was issued in response to continued Israeli military strikes in the Gaza Strip.

"If they continue with these attacks, we will strike at targets in Zionist territory that we have not struck until now," said the organization's spokesman.

the dirty little secret is out Hammas never stopped bombing Israeli children and women and men, aka civilians, so what would not be the difference.

The pals really are trying to convince us that they could have done it before and just out of the goodness of their hearts they haven't? Yeah, right.

Posted by: Carolyn2 [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 2, 2006 10:46 PM

They don't deserve any mercy. Howling about their population suffering from lack of electricity and water when all they have to do is release the soldier for the Israeli invasion to end. But I doubt that he is still alive. That is why, Israel must hit gaza hard.

Posted by: arjun.sevak [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 2, 2006 10:55 PM

What would Israel do if the terrorists murdered the soldier (or have already done so)? Retreating would be a major sign of weakness, so would they crush Hamas, or what?

At a time when some Americans are looking at Israel to smack some ass. They balk. Like America their worried about what people think about their states, instead about their own survival. Maybe it is death to all ,Freedoms not Free. Long live free states, America And others whom strive for freedom. It ain't something you acquire without getting your hands dirty.

The right thing to do would be to eject the Gaza strip house by house into the Sinai until they find him.

Any attempt made at Israeli infrastructure should be responded to in kind.

If he turns up dead, Israel should shoot the first 10 Hamas leaders.

Posted by: km [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 2, 2006 11:42 PM

Sadly, AMartinez, you are completely correct. In an alternate universe, Condi Rice and could be a twin of Ehud Olmert if one were looking at their big picture view of Islam and the world. Both, want adulation! Friends in the 'EU' and 'moderate' Arab lands. Both want to concede, and give, give give. Both, no doubt, ask, "Why do they hate us?" Both are yes humans. Condi is a yes woman to W. Olmert was a yes man to Sharon. Both have not had a creative thought in their kops for the last 25 years. Both are interested in the 'peace process' and 'processes' of all kinds.

We, in America, have a few years left(hopefully)and Israel may not. Israel is a frontline state for fifty years duration as a Jihadi target; Jihad is approaching the US with more stealth--with dhimmification of academia and the public square, with a few 'militant' operations thrown in like 911--attributed to a few militant nut cases--completely unrepresentative of the Religion of Peace.

Ehud doesn't have much time. Israel is sitting on the razer's cold blade. What the Arabs understand is might. They do not respect hazy attitudes of Beilen and Peres and Olmert. They know force and weakness. Olmert cannot depend on the 'good offices' of Egypt or Finland to solve the problem. They must move quickly, destroy Hamas and then withdraw, but at the ready to strike again. For Olmert may covet the French or Americans or Europe's acclaim; he may give away the store, but lose his country in the process. One could make the arguement that this tactical 'stall' in the 'invasion' of Gaza did not win him any brownie points anyway. It just solidified the 'bad will' of the world against Israel, and the good will of the world towards the Palis. If this was the goal of Olmert, he succeeded.

What useless eaters. What exactly is Islam's purpose on this planet except to destroy what they can't have? I have never felt more disgust for the aimless anarchic cult. So they have their Muhammad and their Allah. What do they ever do that's positive for mankind? As opposed to medical advances from Israel that I read about twice a month. Plus these barbarians have no shame in using Israeli hospitals when their pointless life comes a cropper

Yes what is the Jihad situation in Finland? Is it as bad as Sweden. Is it going to hit the headlines like Denmark?

But biorabbi, hows condi so much worse than ole billy and his anti jewish bunch, but yet most jewish people are democrate. And fail to help Israel' when there needed most.

"Yes what is the Jihad situation in Finland? Is it as bad as Sweden. Is it going to hit the headlines like Denmark?"

Based on what's being said in the blogosphere, Finland's status is relatively good, compared to Sweden or Denmark. We have pretty much the same problems as everyone else, but to a lesser degree, and I don't think we have any Muslim ghettos in Helsinki (yet). I'd say we're very or extremely dhimmi, though.

Why are the supposed richest nations in oil revinew , hosting the most jihadi people. Is it because if they're not productive ship-en elsewhere?

Why go looking for the soldier? Hamas abducted him, Hamas returns him unharmed. Else, a Hamas leader is executed every hour. Hamas, you choose...

"That can really be a problem, don't Sweden and Demnmark share a common border with Finalnd?"

We're bordered by Sweden, Norway and Russia. I hear Sweden is downsizing its military to nothingness, so we'll probably be momentarily safe when the Muslims finally take over in there.

"Wow, Sweden has surrendered that easily?"
Oh, Sweden's self-inflicted spiral of destruction has been well documented by Fjordman (his writings are sometimes featured here and at Gates of Vienna).

If you're referring to their military, I don't know why they're downsizing it. Maybe all those years of peace combined with their hardcore leftism and their neighboring countries (Finland and Norway are peaceful, and will work as barriers againts threats elsewhere) has convinced them that they no longer need a real army.

Posted by: Jesus Christ Supercop [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 3, 2006 1:11 AM

I like Fjordmans analysis of the Scandanavian situation as well. He has some interesting arguments.

Posted by: km [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 3, 2006 1:51 AM

JC Supercop.

Regarding biorabbi's post "Olmert cannot depend on the 'good offices' of Egypt or Finland to solve the problem".

I think that biorabbi may have been referring to an article (I saw it on DEBKAfile) in which reference is made to a Finnish man coming to Gaza to attempt some sort of diplomatic resolution.

I cannot now find the article, so I cannot advise the name of the gentleman, save to say that I gained the impression he was a VIP of some sort from the diplomatic/political sphere.

Bullies, whether they be individuals, groups, nations or religions, have hypocrisy so intrinsic to their psyche that they are usually unaware of just how ridiculous their statements can be. The classic case is where the bully hits someone in the face and says:"you hurt my hand!!!".

Islam is a complex of lies, liars, hypocrisy and evil and this is what you call a simple bully.

Whate else can we expect from such?

It is moments like this when I hope that there is such a place a hell, where apes rule and dogs are the guards, where the only food is bacon and pork and that as all muslims will be there, there is forced nonstop reading of the bible and the Torah and where muhammad has to go around on his kness apologising for his lies.
This is one case where if JC forgives, he is wrong..

Israel should threaten Hamas infrastructure as well - their "social services", their buildings, power generators, et al. Oh, and don't ignore Fatah and Islamic Jihad.

Sooner or later it's going to be showdown for Israel surrounded by Muslim Murderers urged on by the likes of HAMAS and HIZBOLLAH. Sooner or later it is going to be a showdown for every Non Muslim Country in the world. INFIDELS OF THE WORLD UNITE. TIME TO BRING ON THE ISLAMIC CLOWNS AND BLAST THEM ALL THE WAY TO ALLAH.Who needs a horse these days...

Olmert allowed 150 trucks carrying food, fuel and medical supplies into gaza. So, now we are true humans. We feed our enemies when we are at war with them. A few days without electricity, food and water, and all the residents of gaza would have rebelled and handed over the soldier to Israel. But Olmert carries on his military offensive while ensuring that his enemies get all the comforts of life while they torture this Israeli soldier. The enemy need not worry about supply chain management. We'll do it for them. They can just go on fighting.

Posted by: arjun.sevak [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 3, 2006 6:00 AM

you know one Israeli is worth over a thousand muslilms.. Hammas wants all women and children that are in jail set free, and a thousand muslilm men set free. so there you have it, muslims are cheaper by the thousand.

Hamas never really stopped doing jihad against Isreal.

Posted by: bigcatgirl13106 [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 3, 2006 7:19 AM

The followers of Hamas say that the 36 articles of the Hamas Charter are locked in stone and cannot be changed. Almost all the articles deal with jihad against not only Jews but all those who support them. here are just a few excerpts from them that reflect their set determinations.

From article 8:---Their slogan: "Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model, the Quran its Constitution, Jihad its path and death for the case of Allah it most sublime belief."

from article 12---:Hamas regards Nationalism (Wataniyya) as part and parcel of the religious faith. Nothing is loftier or deeper in Nationalism than waging Jihad against the enemy and confronting him when he set foot on the land of the Muslims. And this becomes an individual duty binding on every Muslim man and woman; a woman must go out and fight the enemy even without her husband's authorization, and a slave without his master's permission....

From article 13:---There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.

From article 15:---"I swear by the holder of Mohammed's soul that I would like to invade and be killed for the sake of Allah, then invade and be killed, and then invade again and be killed." (As related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).

alert,
I'd like to start executing Hamas leaders one at a time, every hour on the hour. But we are a state of law with courts and all that. When the Hamas leaders were arrested last week, there were warrants for each of them.

amartinez, you don't know how long we'll last. Of course, the State Dept and CIA are working overtime to do us in. It's not only the Arabs. How could the Arabs have stood up to us over the years without the covert help that they get from State, CIA, the UK, bbc, Quai d'Orsay, kgb, ford foundation, etc?
