An Egyptian Islamic cleric working for the state ministry of religious endowment has used a children's television program to encourage young children to strive for holy war.
During [the] program, made available by the Arabic translation service MEMRI, the cleric told a story about Muslim children in history keen to "sacrifice" themselves and kill "infidels" for the cause of Islam.
Rumor has it that the Neighborhood of Make-Believe has been launching Qassam rockets.
"Let's listen to a very beautiful story to learn about the courage of a child, and how, when a child is brought up in a good home, and receives proper education in faith, he loves martyrdom, which becomes like an instinct for him. He can never give it up," Sheik Muhammad Nassar told children on the program, which aired on the Al-Nas television channel.
"This story, my friends, is a beautiful story. Abu Qudama was the commander of the army of the Muslims, when they fought the Byzantines. The Byzantines had a very, very large army, whereas the Muslims did not have many fighters. So Abu Qudama walked down the alleys and streets, among the poor, calling: 'Come join the Jihad,' 'Come join the Jihad,'" Nassar said.
'Take my boy to the jihad'
He continued: "A woman said to him: 'Abu Qudama, I have a boy. I will give him to you. Take him with you to war.' He asked: 'Is he still a boy?' She said: 'He is 15 years old, and his father was martyred in the previous war. Since his father's martyrdom, he sits day and night, praying that Allah grant him martyrdom.'"
The Muslim commander is described as "praising Allah" for receiving the child-soldier from his mother.

Brainwashing children like that is sick sht. It's petrified bovine fecal matter with a pretty bow. While not offering himself up on the alter of martyrdom, this creepy cleric influences children to do it for him...coward...Another coward with the same idea was Hamza...He advocated muslimahs to have children for the express purpose of raising them for martyrdom.
Women of Mass Destruction, he called it...This is the real face of Islam...a perfect example of the psychosis generated by contact with Mohammads demon Allah. Only a demon would demand the ritual sacrifice of children, and only a demented and brutal mind could carry it out.
We should thank this Egyptian cleric for his clarity in defining Islam. Yes, Islam can be defined, but you have to get to the bottom of the stinking barrel to do it. Hold your breath, the stench is unbelievable...

This is exactly the kind of guy we should be "targeting".
He is a coward. Someone who encourages people (in this case children ) to do the dirty-work while his life goes on in relative safety. I say put his life in jeopardy. Make him think twice before he spouts off.
We may not know who all the jihadey-foot solders are, but we know who the instigators are.

Instead of getting al-Jazeera here, why not just get such childrens shows, suitably dubbed in English, and put it on some channel? In that case, all Infidels in the west watching this will be disabused of any doubts they may have about the "suffering" of the Mohammedans.
Only problem - these shows would fail even X-rated, and not too many would get the underlying message should that happen.

Like him or hate him, you've got to give President Bush credit for an elegant solution to the emergent threat of small groups of people being able to wipe out population centers with WMDs.
I truly hope that the democracy strategy results in a peaceful world. The darker side is, if it fails, Plan B becomes more ethical.

Of course, they could over come the Byzantines at the time. What's not told is that the Byzantine emperor emptied his coffer on debauchery and didn't take the threat too seriously before the attack and also that the muslim savages out numbered the Byzantines in overwhelmingly great proportion--Without enough money the Byzantine could not make good preparation.
If it were not for their oil the world is buying from them, the bustards wouldn't be talking in this tone today. Starving the Islamic world of it's finance should be a good American foreign policy.

No surprise here, we know they love death and that they routinely misjudge Americans. We don’t all “love Pepsi” although I am sure many of us are quite fond of it. Egypt benefits greatly from our aid and still they want death, sigh ok, but ….since they admit they “love death” and we as a rule do not, I say they should be encouraged to martyr themselves. I realize it sounds rash but it is cheaper and more practical than opening another front. Our military is stretched thin (although we could still trash a few more countries if needed) and muslims committing suicide is cheaper than keeping their ungrateful and misguided people alive and well. Let’s stop with the win their hearts and mind philosophy (it didn’t work) and encourage and empower islam to end itself. We will need some propaganda specialists to explain you can martyr yourself and not harm those around you. The more cowardly muslims will fall to the back of the line and suddenly convert but that is ok the rest will gain enlightenment when they find themselves surrounded by flames and wondering where the virgins went. This can be a win win for both sides and it will save my hard earned tax dollars from being squandered on ungrateful muslims who want both my money and my death.

Actaully, the most cheering thing about this "fairy story" from this disgusting old hypocrite was the attitude of the children! They looked bored to death, and when he asked the question, you could see them all thinking "one of us had better give the right answer, or we'll be here all day" - the answer was NOT given with any real conviction and I doubt (hope) that these children will not see their future as suicide bombers. I expect the hypocrisy was not lost on them either - children tend to have a built-in bullshit detector!
PS I expect they were from quite well-off families - didn't look like Palestiian cannon fodder to me...

Funny how all of these clerics who advocate the glory of destroying their "gods" creation are old men isn't it. They say it's great to kill yourself but seem to be unable to do it themselves. I guess there excuse is that they need to live to get more children to destroy gods creation. Sounds more like satanism to me. How can a religion say that "allah" is all powerful etc. etc. but then destroy "his" creation.
