Ok, let's think about how stupid that idea is. The USMC has a proven track record of stomping anyone and everyone in its path and that's away from home. The chances of successfully attacking a military housing area full of trained warriors fighting for their families is so far past zero it can not be measured. Even if 98% of the Marines living there were deployed the other 2% would enjoy making any attacker pay. Then you have the problem of the other 98% who are well trained and now highly pissed off.

I have heard some extremely stupid comments over the years from muslims but this one takes the cake. When are you muslim idiots going to learn propaganda only works when it is based on reality.

Do not forget that “WE” live out and around Military bases as well. If my neighborhood suddenly heard a great deal of fire going on at our local base we would all hop in our cars and race over there if for nothing else than our natural American curiosity. You know, no one wants to see a fire start but once it does everyone wants to check it out. Trying to attack a Marine base with 1000s of angry patriots coming at you from behind? They would be torn to pieces.

You are both right, that one set me off. When I did live on base, I felt 100% safe, that is one advantage of military life. tgusa, any attack and they would lock the base down trapping the dummies who started it. I like you would want to help but I know they would not need it. I would love to set on a hill and watch them hunt muslims all the while chearing them on but I am not that lucky, those cowards talk big smack but they wouldn't attack a base.

They had better stand and fight because if they try to flee we will set our dogs on them. But what am I saying? You are right they are too cowardly to do anything as risky as that. They want an advantage so most likely the target would a Nursery School or Retirement Home.

I have sat and discussed the "invasion scenario for the United States" many times with family and friends over the years. It always comes down to the same conclusion:

It ain't possible. ('Red Dawn' was just a silly movie.)

No force on earth, not even a Chinese Army, could ever field enough manpower to successfully take over the United States. For one thing, if you attack the United States, your going to be fighting Canada for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mexico jump in, too. So, you're trying to attack the continent of North America.

Of course, any serious military designs by anyone on Mexico and/or Canada would be met with instant American force, so those aren't going to be much easier targets!

But, beyond all that, then let's just consider what an invasion force would have to contend with. First, you've got to get to the shore. Um...I think the Coast Guard, the Navy and the Air Force would not make that very easy. LOL.

So, let's assume that any kind of armed forces would have to sneak into the country (as they actually are doing everyday in fact, but not with military designs -- with terrorist ones), and you can just begin to see how futile it all is for a ground enemy.

Now let's have some fun. Imagine actually fielding anykind of enemy force in the United States successfully, just assume. What are these badguys going to be faced with?

Well, almost every household in the nation has a gun inside. I'd bet close to 2/3rds have dogs, and some of those dogs are very capable breeds like Rots, Labs, Sheperds, Dobermans and Pit Bulls.

Then how many women are carrying mace spray? How many homes have baseball bats and golf clubs? Who has a very nice set of kitchen knives?

Now, what kind of Americans are they going to encounter? This is the scariest thing of all for any invader.

In the swamps of Lousianna -- Cajuns. Almost gives me visions of 'Predator'.

In the streets of Boston and most towns in Upstate New York -- descendants of Irish, British,Italian, Polish, Puerto Rican and Germans who are notoriously territorial. Do jihadis really want to mess with diehard baseball fans?

Native American tribes like the Iroquoi and the Seminoles and so many others wouldn't take kindly to visitors on their reservations.

Is a jihadi going to last long in Harlem? How about the picketed, white-fenced neighborhoods in Atlanta or the French Quarter in New Orleans?

Those cornfed boys in Nebraska are not only huge, they can shoot!

Hispanics in Miami, Arizona, Los Angeles, Texas? Tough customers all. Don't even think about touching their women and children unless you want to die.

How many Chinatowns do we have? At least a half-dozen major ones. Chinese gangs aren't exactly pushovers -- I doubt angry neighborhoods of Chinese would be any easier to deal with for would-be invaders.

And, of course, my own home state of Texas. Remember the Alamo?

Basically, what I'm driving at is, if you invade the United States, you might as well be invading the world. There's just too much variety, both human and terrain-based, for any ground invaders to ever dream of conventionally hurting us.

But, this is of course, exactly why the United States has to always be vigilant for other kinds of attacks: nuclear, chemical, biological, and terrorism. We will never be attacked conventionally, so that means we will always be attacked with far more brutal and cowardly means.

That the military has loose cannons who make the rest look bad is one of the propaganda problems of immature human nature under extreme duress (20-25 year old guys with high power guns being shot at and blown up by terrorists who wear no uniform, blend into a willing populace, and follow no rules of war).

All the military can do is to openly prosecute those who are really criminals and move on.

What this ex-American jihadist traitor fails to mention is that none of his band of homicidal scum have ever tried to stop or prosecute Zarqawi for blowing up innocent Iraqi civilians or for maniacally beheading unarmed, trussed-up, non-combatants. All acts in complete violation of the Geneva Conventions and any Human Rights rules passed by the U.N.

I saw some of this guys sound bites on the mass news media and it occured to me that he talks like he is a big ole QUEER! The Al Queda holy men keep his face nice and pale to enhance his sexually attraction to their " holy eyes ".

Despite his talk of being out in the battle field and carrying bodies of women and children, the fact is that with his soft features he has been kept inside as an Al Queda queer concubine.

One can easily see in the time of less than a minute that he is confussed politically, culturally and sexually. These confussions he stuffs and resolves under the rubic of a religion to reconcile them.

It is this resolution of Islam that he, again confusses, with rational views. It is such a stereo type of reason that justifies his hatered of the West. The West did after all spawn his confussed self.

Even more confussing is the revelation by the FBI that he is not charged with any crime! They just want him for questioning about Al Queda. If he is not aiding and abeiting a terrorist organisation then who is?
