White House condemns Hizballah, blames Iran, Syria

A White House spokesman identifies the sponsors of Hizballah. "White House condemns Hezbollah, blames Iran, Syria," from AFP, with thanks to JE:

ROSTOCK, Germany, July 12, 2006 (AFP) - The White House on Wednesday denounced the abduction of two Israeli soldiers by Lebanese militia Hezbollah and said it held Syria and Iran responsible for the attack.

"We call for the immediate and unconditional release of the two soldiers. We also hold Syria and Iran, which directly support Hezbollah, responsible for this attack and for the ensuing violence," said national security spokesman Frederick Jones....

The United States, United Nations, Russia, Britain, Japan and the European Union condemned the kidnappings and Hezbollah rocket attacks against Israel, saying they had dangerously escalated Middle East tensions.

"We condemn in the strongest terms Hezbollah's unprovoked attack on Israel and the kidnapping of the two Israeli soldiers. We know that Hezbollah also launched unprovoked rocket attacks on civilian targets in Israel as part of this offensive," said Jones.

"This is a terrorist attack, and it is clearly timed to exacerbate already high tensions in the region and sow further violence," the spokesman said.

"Hezbollah terrorism is not in Lebanon's interest," said Jones, adding that the group's efforts to arm itself and carry out attacks from Lebanon are "a direct threat to the security of the Lebanese people, and the sovereignty of the Lebanese government."

Hizballah and others have been harrassing Israel for decades. These rocket attacks are nothing new. I do feel that the Islamic terrorist movement is baiting Israel into a very serious confrontation.

It was odd (to me) to watch (all night) the constant replays of the victims of the Israeli attacks being rushed to the hospital. Yet, in all the attacks against Israel do I remember such constant coverage. Usually the attacks received minimal video coverage if any at all.

I noted that the Hizaballah leaders were trying to "negotiate" with Israel for the prisoner release/exchange. Of course their "deal" favors Hizaballah and is not with parity. Israel correctly stated "no Deal". Israel countered with a more fair deal. Israel asks for the release of the captives and a ceasation of rocket attacks. But, the Islamic terrorists, in all their infinite wisdom, continue to vow death to Israel (which, of course, means they never intend to stop attacking). For them, Death can be the only answer, even if it is their own death.

That's what the Palestinians get for electing a terrorist government. They're getting what they deserve.

Am I the only one being happy at this beautiful chorus ?

Or am I wrong ?

Hamas and Hezb-allah, Partners in Terror since 1350.

"They have sown the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind."

extsgtbrown-

It is curious how the Western news reporters always show dramatic shots of accidentally injured or killed "poor Palestinian civilians" and "poor" Hezb-allah "civilians" being rushed to hospitals out of rubble (full of "sound and fury", signifying whatever these "objective" reporters want it to "mean") as "victims" of the "disproportional Israeli responses".

But you rarely see any photos of Israeli civilians killed or injured by intentional jihad rocket attacks.

(The Israelis need to get more footage out, to counterbalance the terrorists' propaganda machine, glibly abetted by willing reporters in the world's mass media.)

Is it just that Muslims are better actors (on camera) in this psyops campaign?

The MSM has already decided that Israel is the aggressor and that Arabs are poor innocent victims. They then report the news to fit this idea rather than the facts. It doesn't matter how much footage Israel releases or how much they devote to PR, because they've already been convicted by the media.

JeffS-

There is the internet counter-media.

But, wouldn't it be simpler, since the Jews own the media (as the Muslims always complain), if they just slanted the reporting in their own favor?

Insidious Hebrews! They even outsmart themselves!

Their Zionist cunning eludes comprehension!
