Covert intelligence, no matter what form it takes, is one of the best weapons in the war against Islamic terrorism. You can bet they are doing the same to us. The RCMP agent has just made the Islamic Terrorist hit list. I pray for his safety and admire his courage. It will take men of this stature to be successful against those who intend to kill you.
In the USA, we have those elected officials and others who whine and complain over every attempt put out to obtain information from the Islamic terrorists (i.e. prisoner interrogations, wire taps, spies, moles, and other such tactics). It makes you wonder just who they really side with.
I firmly believe the USA has been fortunate that another 9/11 has not occurred in 5 years. I believe the "war on Terror" carried out by the USA is one of the main reasons for this happening. Make no doubt about it, the Islamic terrorists are absolutely trying to make something big happen. At least, we are making it difficult for them. The more they kill, the more we learn about them and the easier it becomes to kill them. More and more people world wide are awakening to the realization that fighting Islamic terrorism is the only choice they have. There is no room for appeasment or negotiation. It is either all or nothing. Live free and die free is the best you can hope for. Being the slave to Islam is not the answer.
Report any suspicious activity to your local authorities (even if they scoff at you). Be ever vigilant , especially in your own neighborhood.

we should have suspected that there was a mole, but making it public that there was is only going to make it that much more difficult for the mounties to cultivate other moles as the jihaddists, who are probably very well predisposed toward paranoia to begin with, will become more intensely so.

Figures the Toronto Star, Canada's premier left of center newspaper, would print this article. The idea is to show to the Canadian public that, 'See, muslims are our friends.'

What the paper does not say is that this muslim was not a GOOD muslim. If he was, he never would have sold out the cause of jihad. He was a Judas. This then makes the public think that you can be a good muslim, and be on the side of decency. You can't.

What this muslim did was actually advance the jihad. The slow jihad. The jihad that is working so well in Europe. By working to stop this attack, he successful preserved the dhimmi image of islam in Canada as religion of peace. Had the attack gone forward, the Canadian public would have woken up to the reality. His efforts kept the Canadian public asleep. This muslim is the real jihadist. Those 17 kids were dumbass clowns.

In John Toland's excellent biography of Hitler (1976) he talks about a high-ranking SS man (Konrad Morgen) who became a Christian but who remained in the SS to slow down and sometimes stop the evil in the Nazi death camps. (I think American and British intelligence were aware of him before and during the war.)

He used his authority to investigate Nazi death camp commandants for embezzlement of wealth stolen from the overwhelmingly Jewish and other victims of the Holocaust. Thus he had Karl Kotch (The Commandant Treblinka) hung for embezzlement and thew the monkey-wrench into operations at Treblinka for a time. Although Morgen didn't stop the Juggernaut of Nazi evil at Treblinka and elsewhere-he did slow it down in many places.

Morgen believed very strongly that when a man had a choice of evils that a man must choose the least evil thing. In this matter of Jihad, Muslims will not stop (for now) the Juggernaut Of Evil that randomly kills ordinary people-but they can slow it down by doing things in the spirit of Konrad Morgen.

Been saying for years that the CSIS knew how to do its job, and is doing it and doing it well.

Sadly as much cannot be said for the U.S. Dept of Homeland Security which has too many political appointments. It doesn't draw from an excellant pool of ex police officers for its upper as well as lower exchelons like the Canuckers do.

That's exactly what Konrad Morgen did. His policy did save lives. (If I remember correctly-he and historian Toland became good friends. Toland was very impressed by Konrad Morgen.)

At one of the death camps (I think it was Auschwitz) Morgen related to Toland the whole factory process of the Nazi killing of the Jews. (He was a witness against many Nazis after the war.) But at Auschwitz he had a strange experience. He told Toland one Jewish lady (who appeared mad-her hair wild, etc.) wandered away (at first unnoticed) from the columns of people who were about to be murdered. She came straight up to him (he was standing on an observation platform) and looked straight into his eyes and with a very sad voice said to him, "who will wash our dead?". Morgen said he nearly fainted he was so overcome by her.

She was prodded back into the column by the Nazi guards. But she kept looking back at Morgen until she was out of his sight. Sometimes God speaks through broken people in the strangest of places.

Unless they name someone specifically in the police report or newspaper article, which would be self-defeating lunacy, releasing this kind of info serves two purposes:

-A) if it is true, it helps sow discord and doubt among the jihadis.

-B) if it is a calculated bit of psyops disinformation, it also sows discord and doubt.

The desired effect is:

-making the militant Muslim terrorists look at one another with growing suspicion (the natural state of all Mohammedans, squared).

Off-balance terrorists may make further mistakes out of growing paranoia, and be caught before they strike.

This is the opposite of the NY Times' modus operandi of eroding America's vital national security measures, in an infantile and delusional attempt to "harm Bush", by releasing detailed information on operations aimed at defending the country against the jihad.

If there is a real informant/mole, then the RCMP better have a closed courtroom and a good disguise when he testifies.

Excellent point, although whether that was his motivation or not is something only he knows. Besides, it's questionable whether members of the Canadian ummah are going to see it the way you illustrated. This is of course now speculating on whether he was practicing reverse psychology, or multiple degrees of it, leaving one guessing as to the level of his commitment/deception. But the simple way around that for the Mounties would have been to keep his involvement with them totally secret, even from public consumption, so that even if slow-jihad was his goal, it wouldn't have gone anywhere.

Don't be fooled folks, this guy has been on TV shows asserting that the Quran orders him to live by Shariah-Law and not Canada's Laws , he's Pro-Shria and the link below to his CBC interview tells it all.
Read the whole article and see how he reacted to terrorism the same way the Khadr kid reacted, they both oppose terrorism by Muslims when it harms other muslims and creates Backlash toward islam.

There are moles in Britain's mosques, one is a British born ex Hindu, converted to Islam and joined a group called al Muhajiroun,w hen that was disbanded he formed another group. He is a regular police informer and was recently prosecuted a nominal sum for an illegal demonstration. Why else has he not been arrested and locked up if he is not useful to the British authorities?

Did I say Anjem Choudhary is a police informer and if he is unmasked he will be killed by outraged Jihadis? Whoops!
