The jihad against teachers continues in Thailand. "Muslim militants gun down teacher in front of students," from DPA, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
BANGKOK - Four suspected Muslim militants on Monday gunned down a teacher in front of a classroom filled with his terrified students, radio reports said.Prasarn Makchu, 48, died with a chalk still in his hand, said Thai Radio 98.
The assailants entered the Ban Muaraeng school in Narathiwat province, 780 kilometres south of Bangkok, at 11:00 a.m. and shot Prasarn in the head and chest with their pistols before fleeing....
Public school teachers are being increasingly targetted by separatists in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces as part of their terrorist tactics to drive a wedge between the majority Muslim population and the Bangkok-based public administration.
In May, Muslim villagers kidnapped and beat up two female teachers in Narathiwat, leaving one in a coma from which she has yet to awake.
Local education authorities decided to close 100 of the 199 schools in the province following the incident, although most have now been reopened. Narathiwat is part of Thailand’s majority Muslim “deep South,” comprising the country’s three southernmost provinces that border Malaysia and once made up the independent Islamic sultanate of Pattani.
More than 1,300 people have died in clashes, ambushes, shootings, explosions and beheadings in the deep South since January 2004, when the area’s long-simmering separatist struggle started to escalate.

It's easier to control an uneducated woman. An educated woman would figure out a way to leave and realize she had better opportunities if she did.
Plus, it would just aggravate muslim males knowing their women were smarter than them.

People, the article said nothing about this being a girls' school.
Hate to break it to ya, but a lot of us males are just as threatened by mohammedans as females. The world doesn't revolve around what effects women.

Eisenhund, no one said it was a girls school. Yes, men are threatened by mo's, and women have more to lose. They have beaten women teachers, so I think it's safe to assume there were girls going to this school.

Yes, they beat women teachers.
They shot a male teacher in the head.
You'll have to excuse me if I don't worry about how everything effects women. But I guess it's okay to make a gender issue out of everything if one is not a male.
I'm more concerned about how islam and mohammedans threaten everyone, men, women, Christians, Jews, Hindus, black, white, etc., not just one pet group to which I may belong.
I don't like the crybaby game.
"Mohammedans treat my group worse!"
"No they don't! They treat my group worse!"
Etcetera, etceterum, ad nauseum.
When talking about islam, all I need to know is that the victims are non-mohammedans or do not support mohammedans. Everything else is irrelevant.

To them school is nothing more than a place to learn new and exciting ways of murdering people. They do not belong in any school anywhere. As to the male/female thing, I object! I demand my right to have just as much to lose as any woman or child period.

Point is, mohammedans often go after women and children because the quranians are congenital cowards and women and children are easier targets. It's not like they like infidel men more.
Tgusa, I'm sure there are plenty of mohammedan vermin that would be ecstatic to take a halal knife to either of our necks, for no other reason than we don't subscribe to their filthy cult.

I agree with Eisenhund. There's no point in the 'Can you top this' sweepstakes on who was worse treated - was it the Sikh who was sawn alive, or the Jew who was beheaded.
How Muslims treat their women is a serious issue. But for this infidel, at least, their security is far lower down the pecking order than our (i.e. Infidel) security. When it comes to treatment of Infidels, Muslims don't make the distinctions between Men, Women, Gays, Straights, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, Animists, - and neither should we.

I don't think anyone is trying to top anyone. We all know given the chance, muslims would kill any of us.
Muslims do have an affinity for terrorizing schools and killing teachers because they don't like the fact there are girls being educated. We don't hear too often of muslims going into all boy schools and wreaking havoc.

Far too dangerous. They need to be relatively certain of having an edge. Boys are too unpredictable to take a chance on. They might realize they will probably be killed and decide they are not having any of it. However, your point is well taken; we know they are more apt to attack Females. Do not worry, the primary reason we fight is for our women. The best in the world I might add. Have you ever seen an image of a male painted on a bomber?

Koran is all Muslims want. Once they can read Koran, they feel smarter then all the world of infidels.
In Muslim world, there are more degrees issued for Koranic study then anything else. With the degree, Muslims on the streets give them reverence, bow to kiss their BEHIND. "Anything they say can't be wrong," the followers say.
Where economy is not flourishing, what can be an easier way of making a living? To toil in the pit or selling bullsh@& at the mosques? Those who don't have a degree can follow and play with AK47.
A muslim friend of mine said his son is still an idiot because he doesn't know how to pray---( or chant in Arabic they don't understand).
