Iranian Revolutionary Guards killed in Lebanon, flown back to Iran via Syria

Even Jordan and Egypt are now confirming the presence of Iran's Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon. From the New York Sun: "War Dead Flown to Iran"

JERUSALEM - The bodies of Iranian Revolutionary Guard soldiers killed by the Israeli army in Lebanon have been transported to Syria and flown to Tehran, senior Lebanese political sources said.
Israeli and Egyptian security officials confirmed the news, which follows a report that first appeared in The New York Sun, that Iranian forces posted to southern Lebanon have been aiding Hezbollah terrorists in their attacks against Israel, including helping to fire rockets into Israeli population centers.
The Lebanese sources said between six and nine dead Iranian Revolutionary Guard soldiers were brought in trucks last week into Syria for a flight back to Iran. They said the bodies were transported along with the tens of thousands of Lebanese civilians fleeing to Syria.
[...]
Israeli officials said Iranian Revolutionary Guards directed the firing two weeks ago of a radar-guided C-802 missile that hit an Israeli navy vessel off the coast of Lebanon, killing four soldiers. Israel says Iran acquired the missile from China.
The officials said the Iranian soldiers' duties include keeping custody of long-range missiles within Hezbollah's arsenal, including Zalzal rockets that are said to have a range of 125 miles, placing Tel Aviv within firing range.
Jordanian officials told the Sun they are "100% sure" Iranian Revolutionary Guard soldiers have fired rockets into Israel. They also said the Syrian army has provided Hezbollah with intelligence information on the locations of strategic Israeli targets to aid in Hezbollah rocket fire.

Iranians shooting at Israel. Imagine that.

NO surprise here.

This should be intresting

...and then the rest of the world, nothing can stop the joos ultimate plan to take control of Christmas! Bwahahaha! But fjanfjan (if that IS your real name), it seems you know too much...

StillBreathing,

thanks for the link. Coming from an arab newssite, it seems rather sensational to me, with the last parapgraph reading

Unfortunately we must admit that in such a war the only way to get rid of “these irregular phenomena” is what Israel is doing. The operations of Israel in Gaza and Lebanon are in the interest of people of Arab countries and the international community.

And yet these "leftist" turds keep babblin about how Israel ochestrated, provoked then over-reacted to the whole thing. I think those mindless losers imaging the Muslim psychos as some revolutionary proletariens.

Iranian armed forces attacking the sovereign state of Israel, that means Iran is technically at war with Israel, they now have an obligation to their citizens to neutralise the Iranian threat.

Posted by: IceDragon [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 24, 2006 10:49 AM

There is a precedent. Soviet pilots and other airmen were commanded by the Soviet leadership to help attack Israelis on behalf of Egypt and Syria. Not a few ended up in similar coffins, shipped similarly back to their country of origin.

If Israel captures Iranian Guards and sophisticated rocketry at the same location this "war" will take on a whole new aspect. So far the Iranians are claiming a moral outrage for the Israeli response, but if they get caught with their fingers in the proverbial “cookie jar,” that dog won’t hunt. I would expect a violent reaction from Iran since being contrite doesn’t fit with their low moral standards. We might see the start of those “World-Wide” Hezbollah attacks we were warned about.

I think it’s time we start to treat terrorists as they treat us. Henceforth, terrorists should have no rights. Period. They should be eliminated as soon as found. No trials. No prison time. Nothing but what they would do to us...Death. It’s what they want anyway, so why not grant their wish.

Islam should also be categorized as a geo-political movement and not a religion. It acts like communism, Nazism, fascism and all the other isms and should be treated as such. I can’t find anyone who believes it’s a religion of peace anymore...wonder why?

Supporters of Hezbollah should be on the frontlines in Lebanon. The bunker busters are on their way. Nasrallah will soon be united with his 72 raisins.

That the missiles came from China is a problem too.

If it looks like an act of war, smells like an act of war, sounds like an acrt of war, then it IS an act of war. Dead or alive, the presence of Iranian Revolutionary Guards firing missiles into Israel IS an act of war, and should be seen as such. If there is one good thing about this, it offers ample opportunity to take down the evil Iranian regime, and imprison or send to Hell the likes of Ahmadinejad, Khamenei et al for their promises of a Holocaust and for their crimes against humanity.

Proof that this is indeed true would be the end of the stalemate for Iran in the U.N. Sanctions would surly follow, as they should. The U.N. to stand by and ignore this is REAL war crime.

that´s right, but it needs that hardware proof,
Iranian Revolutionary Guard, possibly alive...

Posted by: cosmicAvenger [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 24, 2006 1:49 PM

..but with those bunkerbusters beeing flown in it might become a real propblem to capture anything alive.

Dumbo: they do, they do. I read with my own two eyes an editorial in the Italian Communist daily IL MANIFESTO, saying that Islamic extremism was "a revolutionary phenomenon" that had to be supported. You could not be much clearer.

Everybody: reported losses of Iranian Guards alone are six to nine, even though there are said to be only a few hundreds in south Lebanon, serving as advisers and trainers to Hezbollah's several thousand fighters. That means that Hezbollah, if the ratio of losses is the same, must have lost hundreds of troops. And on the other side, Israeli losses are barely in double figures. The Israeli army is supposed to be better at quick manoeuvre and attack than at attrition, but it sounds as though they might be doing a good job of that. A couple of more weeks and Hezbollah might be crippled as a fighting force, whatever the "international community" does.

Syria is in play here here as well, what do they say? If they fess up, Iran is fingered. Try to cover up, then evidence is found to show a cover up by them, Syria goes bye-bye.

May the truth be given light to this, a real hair trigger of is really going on.

The U.N. should be a full steam by now, lets see what they got.

I guess I see that glass as half full. I see it as a good thing.

While I realize it is a half hearted explanation, I think it's a good phrase they coined. It goes a long way towards explaining to most ordinary people who have no clue what this war against global Jihad is all about because they have been brainwashed by the "islam is a religion of peace" line.

It keeps the context on who/what is at fault in this conflict, i.e, islam

And it equates islam with a foe that the free world knows it must defeat to survive, i.e., fascism.

I for one am glad to see it bandied about, mostly because it includes 'islam'. And that opens doors!

Another reader, by the name barbicanangel posted that "I still say Israel is right in this war, however, the picture of young Jewish girls signing the shells is quite disturbing."

continueing...

Although the photos were first taken by professional photographers from AFP, Associated Press, and Haaretz, they were circulated on-line through the popular photo-hosting Web site Flickr.com.

Yet, not a peep, a whimper, a whine, nor a squeal about the Hamas sponsored kid shows on Palestinian TV encourageing kids to kill infidels! It's been on the air for years!

Who is shocked by this apparent "horror" of Israeli kids putting messages on the bombs?

The whinny liberal MSM whose duplicity is sometimes the only thing that is truly "shocking."

Posted by: witness [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 24, 2006 2:28 PM

Paolo, it's 400 innocent muslim children killed, plus the half-dozen or so hezbollah "fighters". And here's more disinformation being happily spread by the fellow-travelers:

"Up to 40 percent of the 200,000 Lebanese who live in villages along territory closest to the border are likely still in their homes, unable or too afraid to move because of Israeli shelling, U.N. observers said."

Anyone who is still there is a human shield who will undoubtedly be killed by the hezbollah "fighters" if they try to escape. What Israel must avoid is backing off from annihilating the missle storage and launching sites simply because these jihadi cowards simply cannot operate except from behind cover of their expendible women and children. (wwmd?)

The death cult of Islam is present and goes by many names, Underneath all the makeup and face covering is evil proprogated by the text in world today known as the Koran. Muslims use the Koran to validate every murder they commit. The Muslims revel in death. I saw the interviews of the failed suicide bombers who were captured when their explosive belts failed. THey were angry they failed, even worse, their families expressed shame that the bomb failed. These are sick people.

"Feinstein invoked the al Qaeda attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 to describe Israel's fight against Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group that on July 12 killed eight Israeli soldiers and captured two more in a cross-border raid. "When terrorists attacked our country on 9/11, Israel did not waver in support of the United States," she said. "And now, in time of need, we will not waver in our support."

This is a quote from a Democratic politician in San Francisco! This in encouraging.

I read the green party puke bowel organic dribble. Notice no capitals to describe green party. I wonder whether or not these Dhimmis in the green party know that the people of Southern Lebanon have been electing Hezbollah into posistions of power within thier government. I wonder if these pukes know that one of Hezbollahs main adgendas is to destroy Israel, then the green paty and everyone else here in the USA. What a stupid Dhimmi I'd like to kick him in the balls.

As seen by the brave mujahid hiding behind women and kids my long-standing rant claiming there are no muslim “warriors” is proven yet again. We (the USA) could commit genocide on a scale never seen by mankind, we will not because we realize all people have a right to live safe and free and no nation or group for any reason has the right to destroy another. We also realize the best defense is a very strong offense. The belief requires that time and time again we demonstrate to the world what a strong offense really is. Islam has an entirely different philosophy, one of absolute hate with no chance at coexistence (as equals). Imagine what would happen if the muslims held the power we now control, would any infidel nation be safe? I think we know the answer. In truth genocide is not needed as muslims have shown for generations they can be beaten enough to go dormant. They show an amazing ability to believe in a utopian idea despite 1400 years of proof they can not build such a society.

The only skill set muslims have is an amazing ability to multiply and kill each other off. They are the single biggest killers of other muslims. If they realized that they should protest other muslims building structures and demand no other muslims live close to them. They should demand a “safe zone” be placed around all muslims households to protect their own children. The UN should mandate and enforce a limit on muslim breeding to limit the violence and thereby safe untold numbers of other muslims. We don’t need them all dead they just need to be thinned out as a protective measure.

Israel understands muslims and has done its part. Once muslims crowded together in gaza and having proven themselves an ungovernable and violent people. Israel went into action, destroying their ability to group up and limiting their ability to commit violence. This has potentially saved countless muslim lives. Thank God for Israel, keep up the good work, drop enough bombs to bring a peaceful end to the menace of muslim on muslim violence. To you muslims who are now living far from the violence, you should thank a Jew for their help and demand other nations join them in this struggle to bring peace to your people.

I agree with this statement.

"Henceforth, terrorists should have no rights.
Period. They should be eliminated as soon as
found. No trials. No prison time".

Therefore, I propose an immediate war-footing
in relation to al-Queda/Islamists prisoners as
follows:

1) Take NO MORE prisoners.

When all intelligence value is obtained from
them, then at:

2) Guantanamo--- Shoot them.

3) Islamists at Abu Gharib in Iraq --- Shoot
them.

4) All other Islamists in whatever prison... Shoot them.

I DO NOT want to prevent these nutjobs from
achieving their dream of being a martyr.

Witness;

"...the photos were first taken by professional photographers from AFP, Associated Press, and Haaretz..."

With three groups of photographers present, why do I suspect that the howitzer photos were staged by the picture-boys so that the children could be used as instruments against Israel's war effort?

Somehow, I don't think those pre-pubscient boys marching with AK-47s in Hezbollah parades were organized by the AP.

I really despise these people.

israel is a shining example to the free world,it is not afraid to do what it has to do to protect its wonderful people, even if the face of growing outrage and horror at thier supposedly disproportionate response to the terrorist atrocities inflicted upon them. We, (the rest of the non muslim world) need to learn from the jewish peoples and get on with what needs to be done, because the longer we wait, the stronger they get and the more people will be lost achieving the ultimate goal, and we all know what that is,dont we?
please read this article about those lovely persians/iranians....lest we forget.

The beginning of the struggle of the Persians with the Christians of Jerusalem was on the 15th April, in the second indiction, in the fourth year of the Emperor Heraclius. They spent twenty days in the struggle. And they shot from their balistas with such violence, that on the twenty-first day they broke down the city wall. Thereupon the evil foemen entered the city in great fury, like infuriated wild beasts and irritated serpents. The men however who defended the city wall fled, and hid themselves in caverns, fosses, and cisterns in order to save themselves ; and the people in crowds fled into churches and altars; and there they destroyed them. For the enemy entered in mighty wrath, gnashing their teeth in violent fury; like evil beasts they roared, bellowed like lions, hissed like ferocious serpents, and slew all whom they found. Like mad |507 dogs they tore with their teeth the flesh of the faithful, and respected none at all, neither male nor female, neither young nor old, neither child nor baby, neither priest nor monk, neither virgin nor widow. .
