Iranian President Ahmadinejad on IRINN TV: 'Lebanon is the Scene of an Historic Test, Which Will Determine the Future of Humanity'

On that the Thug-In-Chief and I are in complete agreement.

From MEMRI, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

The following are excerpts from an interview with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which aired on the Iranian News Channel (IRINN) on July 23, 2006.

TO VIEW THIS CLIP, VISIT: http://www.memritv.org/search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=1202.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: "In my opinion, Lebanon is the scene of an historic test, which will determine the future of humanity. Everyone must be put to the test. Everyone. It is inconceivable for anyone who calls himself a Muslim and who heads an Islamic state to maintain relations under the table with the regime that occupied Jerusalem. He cannot take pleasure in the [Israeli] killing of Muslims yet present himself as a Muslim. This is inconceivable, and must be exposed. Allah willing, it will. You will see.

[...]

"England was the founder of this sinister regime. It is an accomplice to all its crimes. America, which supports it now, is an accomplice to all its crimes. They are the ones who started this fire. They are the ones who support [Israel], and encourage it to strike at the people in such a manner. They say: 'They took two of our soldiers.' Fine, but you took 5,000 of theirs. Sit together and have a prisoner exchange. But you are destroying the life of an entire people, and harming innocent people - all for two soldiers? Do you value human life at all?

This pious hypocrite makes no mention, of course, of the innumerable Hizballah rocket attacks on northern Israel over the last few years, or the mocking billboards Hizballah set up on the border, predicting Israel's imminent destruction, or its other bellicose activities over the years. And of course, why would he? His words here fit an Islamic pattern going back centuries: portray every action by the enemy as an unprovoked attack, so as to exaggerate the sense of grievance that helps win recruits to the jihad.

In this vein, it's bizarre to see the "human rights" campaigners defending the hizbullah and its non-combatant supporters, who deny the very principles of human rights, of the paramount value of peace, of the sanctity of human life. Everything almost that the EU does is bizarre so there is no need to mention the absurdity of humanitarianism on behalf of those who loathe the very notion of human rights and deny the notion of a common humanity.

Now, hizbullah in October 2000, kidnapped three Israeli soldiers to Lebanon, an event that seems entirely forgotten by the msm, including cnn, bbc, sky. The hizbullah bargained for an exchange for those prisoners. In fact, they came back dead. That is, they were murdered in captivity, perhaps on the first day of captivity. By the way, one of the Israeli soldiers was a Muslim Arab serving in the Israeli army.

"In my opinion, Lebanon is the scene of an historic test, which will determine the future of humanity...."

One that will result in Islam being purged from this planet.

Prophet Mohammad was a "pious hypocrite", so it stands to reason that his followers would be too. Actually -- I take part of that statement back -- as there's nothing "reasonable" about radical Islam. Nothing reasonable, nothing redeemable -- nothing rewarding -- nothing right (and the list goes on).

And not only did Ahmad make a mockery of Israel with these 'billboards', but he's made a mockery of us all!

I'm glad he brought up Scriptures as a Historic reference , almost 600 years before Muhammad arrived we were warned about a "False Prophet" that would promise peace and repeat
past messages from God to fool the people to confirm God spoke to him.

I'm not sure which God he spoke to but the God I know would never tell me to marry a Child and rape her at age 9 , maybe there was a reason
why after all those years of misogyny and pedophilia that Muhammad to ill and died in less than two years.

and if Lebanon passes the test, rights itself and secures its country and joins the real world---I suspect MINNIE will declare the test invalid and continue to pursue his own agenda.

Just as the murder liar rapist thief mahomet waited for a provocation from the Jewish farmers, but none came, so he had to make up a pretext for attacking them, when the real reason was that he wanted their wealth for himself, he wanted to rape their women, and he wanted their children as slaves. I'm with Patriot, it's long past time to cleanse this planet of the 1400 years of mahometan cultist filth.

The Jerusalem Post just ran the following article:

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1153291996655&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

For the first time, it appears that the Hezbollah terrorists are admitting they got more than they bargained for when they attacked Israel. I hope Israel keeps up its effort and does not cave in to the Eurodhimmis demanding a "cease fire," which is a euphemism for surrender.

When Japan attacked us,did we just sink some of their ships?Hell no,we beat em back all the way home, and made dam sure it would never happin again. We used all the might we could bring, and forced them to surender,we didnt give a rip about them,or anybody who said we were too hard on them.Isreal has every right in the world to open the biggest can of whip ass they ever seen.

Lebanon is the Scene of an Historic Test...

It is tragic that no one other than MEMRI and Jihad Watch readers will ever know about this statement of purpose. When will people realize that the western media is an equally deadly threat to civilization as Hamas and Hezbollah?

My heart sinks when I see this guy. Think in a few years he will hold the world hostage with a nuclear arsenal that will be able to strike at europe, and soon beyond. To oppose him would be suicide for any nation. It is shameful that we Americans would leave it up to Israel to do our dirty work once again. Really sad part in all of this is that Israel will not be able to do it without our help. I pray the Iraelis will save us all again as they did with Saddam in the 80's, seems they are the only nation out there with the backbone to do what it right. it shames us Americans.

The only hope for the world is if islam disappears totally off the planet. Then we would have a far more peaceful, happier earth.

Posted by: moderationist [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 25, 2006 7:15 PM

As ackiminanutjob stated, this is a test! It not gonna stop with Israel. If and when he acquires the bomb, if he doesn't have it yet. He will strike at America. Israel's the first test.

I have been lurking at this site and Dhimmi Watch for quite some time. It is so fascinating that my own study of Islam that began over a year ago has led me to the exact same conclusions as many others I see posting comments here.

Islam is a chaotic, unloving, unmerciful and extremely prideful belief system. The follower believes he is pleasing the God of the universe, by means of his own work and efforts. He believes he is superior to all others, which encourages and justifies mistreatment and dual morality toward those you believe inferior. This kind of religion is exactly what the human mind finds as logical, and thus is strong evidence that Muhammed made it all up. It is also why I believe the starkly opposite teachings of the Bible: that man is sinful and unable to please God, so God Himself ably provided redemption for any and all who will accept it. It is all His work, and none of ours. That’s hard for us prideful humans to swallow!

Researching the history of Muhammed is even more fascinating, not to mention the haphazard telephone-game way that the Quran came into existence. And the hadiths! Astounding!

I am indeed frightened to think that the average American has no idea what Islam teaches. It is most certainly a belief system that uses fear and violence as weapons. Any system that cannot tolerate questioning is not worthy to be adopted.

A discussion I found interesting was on Dr. Sanity’s blog, concerning the shame culture vs. the guilt culture. In case you hadn’t read about it, it’s here: http://drsanity.blogspot.com/2005/08/shame-arab-psyche-and-islam.html

Thanks!

Mr. Martinez--

We aim to please. Hope you didn't mind.

And by the way, you're not by any chance from the Panhandle, are you? Possibly Amarillo?

Posted by: Hugh [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 25, 2006 8:45 PM

Thank you for the correction sir. No sir, I am not from Texas. I live in northwest Alabama on Smith Lake.

Posted by: AMartinez [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 25, 2006 8:51 PM

So when Rome sacked Jerusalem in 70AD they were removing the illegal occupiers then as well? Guess it originally belonged to the Philistines?
Oops, forgot that was part of the period of ignorance, doesn't count. Convenient.

Of course, all of those 5,000 prisoners Israel captured are innocent! Although I generally not too anxious to make deals with the devil, a swap would suffice here. Pick two, any two, prisoners to exchange for the two kidnapped. Even what's his name can count that high.

Posted by: We need G.C. Scott [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 25, 2006 8:55 PM

From the google-sighting I just gave it, the town of Smith Lake looks, as its name promises, deep-blue-laked indeed, and hedged with green all around. Amarillo, on the other hand, where my Texas relatives come from, must have obtained its name from soil that was yellow-tinged.

All primary colors present and accounted for, sir. And if I think of anything off-color, I'll take care to communicate it off-site.

Over and out.

Stand fast in the liberty,
I am indeed frightened to think that the average American has no idea what Islam teaches.

You are the average American and look what is happening to you. Do you not think others are also becoming wise to this menace?

boxter,
we need to de-islamisize the Middle East.

The only way to do that is to totally discredit their ideology, and the only way to do that is to destroy them on the battlefield. They believe Allah is with them and we need to prove once and for all he is not. Then and only then can we talk about them being allowed to rejoin the human race.

GCScott,
The Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70 CE. However, Jews were still living in the ruins of the city. The Jews revolted against the Romans again in 132 CE, led by Bar Kokhba, and were suppressed in 135 CE. It was after suppression of the revolt that Emperor Hadrian changed the name of the country from Provincia Iudaea [Province of Judea] to Syria Palaestina, while also changing Jerusalem's name to Aelia Capitolina, and forbidding Jews to live in the city and surrounding area, called Colonia [or Polis] Aelia Capitolina [see Eusebius, History of the Church]. This is considered the beginning of the exile from Jerusalem, however, many Jews continued to live in Galilee, Golan Heights, Jericho, Eyn Gedi, the Hebron hills, the Lowlands [Lod, etc.]. Michael Avi-Yonah writes that Rome colonized the zone depopulated of its Jewish population with Syrians and Arabs. This may be the beginning of the so-called "Palestinians."
