The IDF investigates an interesting anomaly. From Ynet News, with thanks to Rudi:
An IDF investigation has found that the building in Qana struck by the Air Force fell around eight hours after being hit by the IDF. "The attack on the structure in the Qana village took place between midnight and one in the morning. The gap between the timing of the collapse of the building and the time of the strike on it is unclear," Brigadier General Amir Eshel, Head of the Air Force Headquarters told journalists at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv, following the incidents at Qana.Eshel and the head of the IDF's Operational Branch, Major General Gadi Eisnkot said the structure was not being attacked when it collapsed, at around 8:00 in the morning.
The IDF believes that Hizbullah explosives in the building were behind the explosion that caused the collapse.

On a news clip shown on TV early this morning. Israel has released survellience video showing missiles flying out of this location. There is no mistake in identifying the location. You can clearly see the rockets flying out.
Once again the Islamic fanatics want to paint the picture that they are innocent victims and the Evil axis of Israel and the US are to blame.
The photos show otherwise. Israel should continue the offensive.
If the world wishes to remain blind, then so be it. Israel is in the throes of a death knell and it must fight to the end. No more negotiations, ceasefires, appeasement, land offers, prisoner swaps, trade agreements, and just take the hardline as do the Islamic terrorists.

When I read about it yesterday, my first thought was "did they round the civilians up?"
They sure did.

It is quite extraordinary that the only party to hostilities that tries to avoid civilian casualties, Israel, is lambasted as the murderer, while the yulalating savages who try to kill the most Israeli civilians without pretense of civility are not even criticized. Why our press is so stupid to fail to point this out is bizarre. Our press fails to point out that Sunnis nearby murder 60 civilians on average every day in Iraq. Our press ignores that the Shiia are now averaging 30 random murders of innocent Sunni civilians every day in Iraq. To criticize Israel a country that tries to minimize civilian casualities is journalistic ignorance and gross negligence. It may be indicative of something more insidious.
The Sunni and Shiia kill eachother in Iraq with glee. Yet what do these sects have in common? Murder of the infidel? yes. Jihad for Allah? yes. Golden rule? no. Women treated like property? yes. Practice deceit on the infidel? yes. Kill innocent shields for the sake of Allah or to score propaganda points? yes.
Islam is the source of our misfortune.

Anyone giving odds on how soon a conspiracy theory will emerge that this was an "inside job" conceived by Hezbollah, to justify launching even more vicious attacks against Israel?
/sarcasm.
As for evidence that Israel had reason to bomb Qana -- check out Melanie Phillips's melaniephillips.com diary entry entitled "The War Against Israel Part 3, posted July 30, and frontpagemag.com for photos at this link for the way Hezbollah locates rocket launchers in residential areas: http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23604
Re the dirt behind the bombed UN observation tower, two media releases from the UN, dated July 24 and 25, re: Hezbollah "operations" and the wounding of an observer who was removed and treated in an Israeli hospital, etc.

Funny thing about all of this, is that the familiar boast, "We [Muslims] love death as they [Jews, Israelis, etc.] love life." seems to be a rather hollow one, doesn't it?

poetcomic1 says "IT STINKS. The whole Qana set up. IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN. "

Naseem, these setups where your mighty jihad warriors hide behind women's skirts and small children to fight, is an old story.
Many of us watched this same kind of setup in Kosovo when CNN's Christiana tried to blame everything on the Serbs -- yet it was the islamists working with the KLA that setup the atrocities.
For example, remember the morter shell that was setup in the market hours before it exploded by remote control?
CNN just happened to be there to film the explosion and of course they blamed those murderous Christian Serbs -- but we all knew the truth; except for Clinton and Albright who didn't care about the truth.
We saw the same kind of setup with the little boy who was "murdered" by the mighty jihadist snipers and died in his daddy's arms conviently infront of the cameras, whose news crews were summoned to the scene hours before the event was set to occur in Israel, giving the pretext for the suicide murders and the infatada that followed.
And of course, the Isrealies were blamed; the boy became a myrter and was even on Palistinian TV making commericals for kids and encouraging them to become myrtrs; and is very much alive today as some will tell you who were very close to this theater act!
And all those mighty jihadists warriors who hide behind rock throwing ten-year-olds firing AK-47's at armed Israeli troops hoping that they lose control and actually kill one of the kids!
Many of us have had first hand experience with fighting the so-called "mighty jihad warriors" and know the truth first hand from a battlefield perspective!
Frankly my dear Naseem, I wouldn't give a bucket of spit for the best part of islam; islamic warriors; or jihadist courage.
The only ones "fooled" by this theater of "courage" are those that want to be fooled.
And by the way, those lovely "civilian looking clothing" worn by the mighty jihadists manning the anti-aircraft guns and missle launchers is a nice touch; aside from the military weapons, they could almost pass for civilians to the untrained eye -- or to one willingly closed!

When is Israel going to win the media wars???
They need to make a case against the genocidal war criminals loud and clear and continuous.

Qur’an:5:33 “The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive after corruption, making mischief in the land [those who refuse to surrender to Islam] is murder, execution, crucifixion, the cutting off of hands and feet on opposite sides, or they should be imprisoned. That is their degradation and disgrace in this world. And a great torment of an awful doom awaits them in the hereafter. Except for those who repent (and become Muslims) before you overpower them and they fall into your control.”
Qur’an:8:7 “Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.’”
Qur’an:8:12 “Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: ‘I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.”
Qur’an:8:59 “The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy.”
’an:9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, beleaguer them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
About truces:
Tabari VIII:159 “The people began to throw dust at the army, saying, ‘You retreating runaways. You fled in the Cause of Allah!’ But the Messenger said, ‘They are not fleers. Allah willing, they are ones who will return to fight another day.”

What is that old saying? A brave man dies only once and a coward a thousand deaths?
These cowardly muslims males are dying a thousand deaths.
