Bombs found on two German commuter trains:

the 1.st bomb was found in a suitcase on Monday on a regional train between the cities of Aachen and Hamm, and has been deposited at the lost luggage department at Dortmund central station.
The second bomb (apparently identical) has been found on Tuesday in a bag left on the regional express Moenchengladbach - Koblenz.

This week will see the use of Iranian supplied medium range missiles into Israel. The more Hizbulla are backed into a corner the more likely these will have an 'unconventional' payload. That will initiate an 'unconventional' response - probably the next day by Israel on Damascus and possibly Iran.

Seriously, let’s have one hell of a devastating catastrophe in the US and let’s just see what happens next. They think we’re tough on the poor, victimized Muslims now, but we’ve been in a MAD situation before during the cold war and should something truly disastrous happen in the US to the point where it looks like our society is in demise, we’ll certainly make sure that we’re not going out alone. They think that we love life and fear death, but they’re only half right …we love life, but fearing death is not in our nature. We fear very little and these throwbacks to the Middle Ages are children who aren’t to be feared, but rather in need of being taught how to properly respect others.

Should Iran directly attack the US (through terrorist attacks or whatever) Iran will surely be turned to glass. On a more local level, Muslims will be forcibly pulled out into the streets and killed. I guarantee it. Beheadings? Sure, there’ll be plenty of those happening to Muslims. In fact, they’ll be dismembered one by one and hung from the highest poles and we’ll refuse to apologize to the fragile sensitivities of the apocalyptic breeders around the globe …sure, we’re not the barbaric, backwards animals that the Muslims have proven themselves to be, but I think one good turn deserves another and I, personally, will happily participate in getting my own two hands dirty with the blood of the guilty, should the need arise.

What do they expect? To take us over, raise the flag over Washington, and have an Islamic state here? Wrong! If that ever happens, I personally will pull my own taquiyya on them, claim to be a Muslim, travel to Mecca and detonate my own bombs there –take the fight back over to them, if you will. I'm quite concerned. IntelCenter analysis indicates al-Qaeda may have completed its warning cycle for a mass casualty attack in CONUS, and a heightened threat now exists. Although Iran only possesses chemical weapons at this time. Maybe they're planning to use that against Israel. I've had that nervous feeling of impending doom for a month now, same as I had the summer of 2001.

Reading shit like this makes me desperately hope that a Ronald Reagan comes forth in the 2008 election. The incumbent president will never be able to convince our strongest potential allies that we are morally correct, as Ronald Reagan was able to deonstrate that we are the good guys and the Soviet Union was evil. Bush is too strongly disliked because of Iraq, regardless of how correct his actions were or are.

Few candidates have the international star power to unite our allies and potential allies against islamic jihad... Giuliani and Hillary Clinton have international respect, with Rice's reputation currently on the line in the Levant. Their reputation and diplomatic skill, combined with a sincere determination to defeat the enemy, should be the highest priority in 2008. There is no greater issue.

Whether it's WWIII or some less-ominous nomenclature, the fight against jihad requires an allied front, which can't be assembled unless our allies believe that we're morally correct.

The only other path to a united front would be another September 11.

It is true that Iran supplied Hezbollah with missiles. It is also true that these missiles were delivered to Iran aboard cargo ships from North Korea not too long ago.
The US was monitoring the ships movements and was undecisive as to what action to take.
Seizing and searching the ship on the open ocean would have surely created another "incident". I would have considered it a payback for the Pueblo incident.Had we something on record such as sanctions on missiles, we could have taken out the missiles as they were being unloaded at the dock. These missiles certainly could be armed with chemical, biological and nuclear warheads.

When the Koreans were testing their missiles some time ago, Iranian technicians were in N.Korea at the time watching the tests. It reminds me of a car salesman trying to sell you a car.

When it comes to terrorists, quick and deadly actions are to be considered best (most of the time). Their plans are not cleverly concealed.

MINNIE IS thumbing his nose at the world and yet we want to have "resolutions" "negotiations" and "dialogue". All that is needed is something that goes BOOOOOOOOOM.

What I can’t figure out is the reason for Iran’s saber-rattling. Why would Ahmedinejad threaten an armed conflict, which he would lose, when he could quietly sit back and become a nuclear power? I’ve been trying to figure out if this guy is posturing or just plain nuts. I’m starting to think he’s nuts and driven by megalomania.

He’s got a card to play and wants to put it on the table. Lets hope our response will be decisive. This guy's successor may be smarter.

No bigcatgirl, it started in 1979 when the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (Ahmadinejad among them or not) took control of the US embassy in Iran and held its employees hostage for however long and continued in the 1980s to include the bombing of the military building in Beirut that resulted in nearly 300 dead US servicemen.

Iran is expecting their 12th Imam to show up in southern Iran soon, where he will gather his army and go into Iraq to attack. From there, they plan to head towards Syria....this according to a Shi-ite blog site.

I wonder if Iraq isn't planning to attack our bases in the region at the same time they attack Israel with non-conventional weapons (obtained from N Korea) at the SAME time North Korea lobbs missiles at our bases in the Pacific and possibly at our mainland.

I too and others I know, have a similar feeling of impending doom. We have stocked our pantry, fueled our vehicles, filled our prescriptions, and taken out cash.

There is some significance to August 7 AND August 22, so anything can happen between now and then. These folks are nuts and I put nothing past them in their attempts to force Islam down everyone's throats.

It's not the final battle though because there is to be an attack on Israel that will scare the daylights out of them, as a prelude to Armageddon.
