Also at FrontPage this morning is my fuller reply to Al-Qaeda operative Adam Gadahn's recent invitation to me to become a Muslim (news links in the original):
In American al-Qaeda operative Adam Gadahn’s convert-to-Islam-or-die message to America released last Saturday, he extends a special invitation to the President, as well as to Daniel Pipes, Michael Scheuer, Steve Emerson – and me:If the Zionist crusader missionaries of hate and counter-Islam consultants like Daniel Pipes, Robert Spencer, Michael Scheuer, Steven Emerson, and yes, even the crusader-in-chief George W. Bush were to abandon their unbelief and repent and enter into the light of Islam and turn their swords against the enemies of God, it would be accepted of them and they would be our brothers in Islam. And we send a special invitation to all of you fighting Bush’s crusader pipe dream in Afghanistan, Iraq, and wherever else W. has sent you to die.Gadahn also praises Western leftist sycophants and apologists for the global jihad, and invites them to become Muslims as well:
Why not surrender to the truth? Escape from the unbelieving army and join the winning side. As for those who have expressed their respect and admiration for Islam, and acknowledged that it is the truth and demonstrated the support and sympathy for the Muslims and their causes like George Galloway, Robert Fisk, and countless others, I say to them, isn’t it time you stopped sitting on the fence and came over to the side of truth?...Abandon unbelief and accept the truth.
It is important to note that Gadahn’s “invitation” to Islam is coupled with a threat of violence: “To Americans and the rest of Christendom we say, either repent (your) misguided ways and enter into the light of truth or keep your poison to yourself and suffer the consequences in this world and the next….” In this, Gadahn is following the example of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, who told his followers:"When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action…Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya [the tax on non-Muslims specified in Qur’an 9:29]. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them” (Sahih Muslim 4294).
Muhammad’s directions here to extend an invitation to Islam and follow it with a threat were also followed recently by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. For his part, Gadahn calls the Islamic prophet Muhammad “the chief and master of Adam’s children, and the embodiment of high morals and good character.”
The thuggishness of Gadahn and the supremacist creed for which he has become a salesman was evident in other parts of his message. “Islam,” he explained, “is the only religion acceptable to God and came with the revealed book, the Koran, which abrogates all previous revelations, like the Torah and Evangel [Gospel]... God recognizes no separation between religion and state.” In this he makes an expression of the Islamic supremacism that delegitimizes the religious traditions of Jews and Christians. In line with the Qur’an (3:67), Gadahn says, “Abraham was neither a Jew or a Christian, but was a Muslim hanif.” (A “hanif” is a pre-Islamic monotheist.) In other words, Judaism and Christianity as practiced today have no legitimacy, but are merely renegade corruptions of the true religion, Islam.
Maybe Adam Gadahn is angry with me for describing him a couple of years ago as he appears in an old photo: as a “pudgy, long-haired American kid who appears to be locked in a desperate, losing struggle to grow a beard.” Adam, I see from more recent photos that you have won that struggle, for which I congratulate you. In your larger struggles, however, you will not prevail. Thank you for your invitation to me to become a Muslim and wield my sword against the enemies of Allah. But I’m afraid I must decline. While I appreciate the fact that becoming your “brother in Islam” might afford me a measure of personal security that I do not enjoy today, some things are more important than that. I cannot and will not give in to violent intimidation, come what may, and I do not want to live in a society that bows to such intimidation.
I believe that societies that respect the equality of rights before the law of all people, including women and religious minorities, as well as the freedom of conscience, are superior to those that do not. I hope that such societies will be able to summon the will to resist you and your “invitation” in all its implications before it is too late.
Meanwhile, Adam, I have an invitation of my own for you: I invite you to accept the Bill of Rights, and enter into the brotherhood of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. My invitation does not focus on my religion, although I invite you to that also, but rather on a framework within which people of differing faiths can live in peace, harmony, and mutual respect – provided that none of the groups involved cherishes supremacist ambitions to subjugate the others.
I hope you will consider my invitation carefully.

That falls on deaf ears. The issue with Gadahn is not the issue, the issue is his personal problems for which Islam is a cover, a symptom. Islam is Gadahn's beard. He should really be invited to psychiatric evaluation. Gadahn is a John Gacy serial-killer in a turban, he's a very bad and dangerous person. I'm sure that even many of his Muslim "brothers" sense that. Maybe Gadahn will be executed by his fellow Muslims when he demonstrates his innate proclivities.

Does Islam make the sick well? No,it compounds the problems. Contact (submission) with the demon Allah creates a pychotic episode called Allahphrenia. Its main symptom is Allahrectumitis.
Allahrectumaniacs have several commonalities. They are very anal retentive, insist on praying to the demon five times a day, and paying jakat tax to limo riding ayatollahs. They have the common belief that the world is flat, that man was created from a congealed drop of blood, and the sun sets in a muddy spring. They have given their lives over to Mohammads demon and will fight, kill and be killed, to protect Allahs contention that the world is flat. Muslims are at war with all round Earth people. In order to convert to Islam, one must accept as true, that the world is flat like a carpet. This loss of critical thinking and blind acceptance of the absurd, is what creates Allahphrenia. The willingness to act/jihad on the demons word is Allahrectumitis. All muslims have this. Allahrectumaniacs (Gadahn's) are not going away. The only way to really stop them, is to bannish the demon, and all his evil books.

I must be blunt-I have no background in psychology. I think I took one course in college (at my first school-Queensboro Community College. However, I did graduate from Fordham.) However, I took a Career Orientation test after college and it consistently pointed to careers having to do with psychology. (I did not follow the advise-LOL.) It indicated I had a very good perception re people. I can tell you that this guy Gadahn sets off alarm bells with me. He's a very bad person.

My hunch is that Gadahn hurt animals when he was growing up. He will strike at the innocent and the good. Anyway, enough about this depressing guy-I don't even want to think about what's there with him.

Well Robert, I would certainly understand if you were concerned that an al Qaeda spokesmonkey addressed you by name, but on the other hand it does mean they are aware of your mission and that is a good thing.
They ought to be made aware that there is a BIG difference in the anti-Jihad effect both parties have, and that difference is Robert Spencer educates people about why muslims do evil deeds and al Qaeda merely drives sane people away from islam/muslims because other people judge you by your acts.

I must echo the sentiments of other posters, you must be doing something right if these Islamists take the time to name you and invite you to Islam. But it also raises your level of danger, since they know who you are and the threat you represent. So please continue to be careful.
These arrogant Islamists are starting fell their oats, it's clear from these statements and statements by those Iranian Islamothugs that they think they are winning. I can't blame them, when you see those Eurodhimmis blindly leading Europe to disaster and the Useless Nations, er, United Nations, impotent in Sudan, Lebanon, Palestine and everywhere Islam seeks to destroy Infidels, it's easy to think you're winning.
But they better watch out. I see signs that Infidels around the world are starting to slowly wake up. I hope it's not too late.

Just like this Adam guy... they're the type of people like the "trench coat mafia" punks who shoot up classmates... no friends, no life, no sense of reality. They need to feel a sense of superiority because they are so inferior. They are dangerous, because they have nothing to lose, but get them in a room alone (without any guns, or bombs) and they are a total bunch of scared kittens.
Keep women in holloween costumes because they're scared that someone physically weaker than they may be intellectually stronger.
Threaten those who don't believe the same they do because they're not strong willed enough to stand by their beliefs as is. Their beliefs are tainted, and faulty, thus the only way to defend them is with violence.
Suicide is the way out of the weak, and muslims are pros at it. Don't they relize it's because those suicide bombers are too weak to stand up against their "leaders."
There is no room for people like this on this earth... and "survival of the strongest" will overcome...
Unfortunately, there are too many of the weak here in the West that are scared to stand up to these Wussies.

Looks like while Ahmadinejad is inviting all Western leaders into Islam, inviting you is left to the likes of Gadahn. You need to rail against this insult, and demand that no one less than Osama, or Mahmoud be the ones inviting you into Islam. And then, you should still refuse.
As an aside, I found Pipes rejoiner to Gadahn's invitation pathetic.
I note your offer for me to change sides in the current war. But I am faithful to my own religion, to my own country, and to my civilization. I will do my part to defeat radical, totalitarian Islam and to usher in the emergence of a modern, moderate, and good-neighborly Islam in its place.Couldn't he have simply left out the latter portion of his goals?

If Robert Fisk is a leftist, then he is one who condemns and accuses Syria and Hizballah. He even said that Hizballah had committed crimes against humanity by launching it's rockets at Israeli cities. Here
