Moderate Muslim Journalist to be Tried for Sedition

This sort of thing is the fate of all too many would-be Muslim reformers in Muslim countries. Expect CAIR's Ibrahim Hooper and other "moderate Muslim" leaders in the U.S. to speak out forthwith on behalf of Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury. But don't wait up. From Asian Tribune, with thanks to Twostellas:

Dhaka, 19 September, (Asiantribune.com): At approximately 1:30 PM Bangladesh time, a judge ruled that the government would begin its sedition trial of journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, possibly within fifteen days.

Choudhury is the Muslim journalist who was arrested by the Bangladesh government in 2003. He was imprisoned under often deplorable conditions and tortured after angering the government and radicals by warning his country about the rise of Islamist terrorism there, urging Bangladesh to recognize Israel, and advocating interfaith understanding and religious equality.

Hope the hordes of muslim men gather after Friday's lesson on peace and tolerance by the imams at the millions of mosques worldwide, to put a stop to this judge's action, and urge that Mr. Choudry be freed for the TRUTH he spoke.
Is that possible??

How come they have active sedition laws and we don't?

Time to overturn the US legal overturnings of the last 40 years folks...

Poor soul, other journalists and photographers just get beheaded and shot. This poor soul has been tortured for a long time. I will wager he never received the kind treatment the Muslims receive at GITMO.

I hope the US state department has been putting pressure on Bangladesh.

He is one B-Journalist that we heard about, there aer hundreds of others locked up by the Bengaladeshies for similar reasons. Bangladesh is a living 'hell'. Why do the followers of Mohd. always end up creating 'hell' on earth where ever they live? Strange!

I sent this link to my local paper with this note.

“Can you find any evidence that the Muslim community in America is coming to Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury defense? Might be a good question for an intrepid reporter to ask Muslims in America.”

I don’t know what good it will do but I can think of anything else to snap the media out of their self imposed censorship on the terror of Islam resurgent.
