Hizballah: "Gracias, Chávez"

Hugo Chávez behaves as one who is looking to enhance his credentials as a "revolutionary" by associating himself with more famous leaders of rogue states; in doing so, he continues to sell out his country and his people, and to grant Hizballah an ever stronger foothold in the Western Hemisphere. From AFP: "Hezbollah adopts Chavez as hero"

BEIRUT - Venezuela’s outspoken President Hugo Chavez, who lashed out at his US counterpart George W. Bush from the podium of the UN General Assembly, has scored a big hit with Lebanon’s Iranian-backed Hezbollah.
"Gracias Chavez," proclaimed large posters hurriedly put up on Thursday by Hezbollah activists in their Shia stronghold of Beirut’s southern suburbs on the eve of a "victory" rally following the group’s war with Israel.
The portrait, showing Chavez in a red shirt and punching the air with a fist, also calls for Israel "to be taken to court for its crimes" during the 34-day war which ended in mid-August after more than 1,200 people were killed in Lebanon alone.
Caracas pulled the Venezuelan charge d’affaires out of Israel in early August to protest its operations inside Lebanon, with Chavez charging that Israel "had lost its mind".
Another poster, next to a road bridge destroyed in an Israeli air raid, shows Chavez and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and announces the launch of a petition of thanks for the Venezuelan leader.
It also hails "our coalition from Gaza to Beirut, to Damascus, to Tehran, and with our brother Chavez", quoting Nasrallah.
[...]
Earlier this week, Chavez hosted Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and renewed his support for Tehran’s disputed uranium enrichment programme, which the United States and other Western countries fear would be used for the development of a nuclear bomb.

Wonderful! Maybe Chavez can now be the new sugar daddy for the "palestinians". I wonder how fast he will forget them once he is looked upon by his new pali "friends" to support their welfare state...yes they are enjoying his verbal support, but verbal support doesnt pay the rent.

To coin a phrase from Hugo's commie teachers I would say Chavez is the rabid running dog of Islmania.

Chavez is a pig....Hizballah are a bunch of pigs......funny how that works isn't it.....Remember, though...Chavez blessed himself during his diatribe at the UN and is the head dog of a predominantly Catholic country (tongue and cheek due to his marxist background)....He can cozy up to the scumbags of the middle east all he wants....he will be the first to get slashed when he refuses to convert to Islam at the behest of his "allies."....

Blair' Law,

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Blair's+law

Personally, I see all the organizations/causes championed by Satan(aka Allah) seeing eye-to-eye and getting together in a growling amorphous mass of bloodletting and inanity/insanity.

Truly pathetic is Satan, laughably so.

Wth?
It won't support my link.

Ok, the definition of BLair's Law is :

Coined by Australian journalist, Tim Blair as -

"the ongoing process by which the world's multiple idiocies are becoming one giant, useless force."

1. The alliance between the radical Left and extremist Islamists is an example of Blair's Law.
2. The fact that white supremacists like David Duke supported 'Mother' Sheehan's sit-in at Crawford, TX is an example of Blair's law.

The doctrine of 'My enemy's enemy is my friend' has probably never lead to a worse alliance. Chavez hates America so much that he would support theocratic fascism instead. All his airy schemes of equality would come to nought were his beloved underdog ever to triumph.

Posted by: Koranophobe [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 22, 2006 8:36 AM

The enemy of my enemy is my friend princple is certainly at work here. I never understood why people didn't get that regarding Iraq. Sooner or later Saddam and Osama were bound to embrace each other under Islamic brotherhood-even if they did hate each other. Hell, those two were a match made in Allah's paradise since Islam comes before all else with these boobs.

Could we possibly be concerned that Chavez may even open the door for Islamofascists to gain a foothold in central, and south American countries with his help? Could we see the beginnings of a state within a state in Venezuela as we see hizballah in Lebanon?

The clear difference is of course demographics. I can't imagine a country or for that matter most of the whole region ever accepting such an invasion.

The region is more than 95 Pct.Catholic. This continous behavior of Chavez imbracing Islam could easily backfire on him, especially after the muslim threats that have been made towards the Pope who is revered by the Catholic faithful throughout the world. After his behavior at the UN and his trying to hand out goodies to local poor, he might be called "The candy man".

Time to cut the purse strings to Venezuela. Reduced foreign aid, zero military aid, no more parts for military equipment already sold to Venezuela, No more money/bank transfers. No more student visas, no more visas period., no more medicine, food , cars, and so on.

I would institute an excise fee or tax on all monies being sent to Venezuela via Western Union, wire transfers, etc.

We buy a lot of oil from Venezuela, we could buy a lot less.

There have been rumors that Iran is trying to put missiles with a 2000 km range in Venezuela, this report alone would have me begin an in dept 27/7 satellite reconnaissance, covert espionage efforts, communications monitoring, and other intelligence gathering operation.

Hugo is posturing himself life a Muslim terrorist leader, we should treat his as one.

Iranian missiles in Venezuela? Wouldn't surprise me at all. If this does happen how will we react?
Continue to hear how peaceful Islam is or act as in 1962 regarding Soviet missiles in Cuba? The frightening thing here is that the Soviets were somewhat rational, a claim that cannot be applied to Iran, run by a bunch of apocalyptic lunatics.

Hugh, can you find out the academics involved in this effort and reach out to them?

Let the pigs and pinkos of the world focus all of their rage and attention at GWB, let them build him up as the worst thing ever. He's out of office on 20 January 2009 whether he wants to or not. Then we can see what these losers' true intentions are when they crown the next president "the devil" and cloak him or her in sulfur-scented robes.

The Hesboes just want some free Winter fuel oil from Chavez' nationalized (stolen) oil resources like the Alaskans and the Harlemites.

These guys are sucking for some baaksheesh.

you know the ex-NYC major Guiliani has class when he told the Saudis to stuff their money after 9-11, now you have Democrat politicians holding out their hands for low priced heating oil from Hugo Chavez.

It is ironic that Hugo with his pseudo-socialist ideals would sink this low to align himself with the Islamo-fascist contries and groups (Iran, Hamas, Hizballah and Syria). It is very sad indeed, because I thought Hugo could have played a role in an attempt to bridge the gap between the biligerents in the Middle East political scene. One does not to agree in totality with the US foreign policy, but to align himself with the axis of Islamo-fascism seems to be extremely damaging for his Latin American and world progressive policies.

It showed once again that politics is a Chameleon like business. I wonder whether the president of Iran asked Hugo to convert to Islam in order to benefit from the fruits of true socialist utopia. But we all know it is all about being anti-US or anti-amercica, and for that people like Hugo can make a pact with devil.

Mr. Chavez lends new meaning to the phrase "useful idiot." Arriba!

Besides everything that is evil about radical Islam, the greatest danger from radical Islam to western civilization and culture is that it is like mold. It gets a grip on its host and slowly spreads. The likes of Chavez and others of his ilk in central and South America are playing Russian Roulette in the western hemisphere by letting the camel get its nose inside the tent.

I did not see this point mentioned in any news articles. It is my understanding that calling someone a devil (diablo) in Spanish-speaking country is nearly the supreme insult. (With "puta diablo" being the worst one.) So when the Spanish-speaking people here Chavez's rant on the news he is twisting the knife. Did anyone else notice that?

This statement is going to be contentious on this site, but the truth is that Dubya went out of the way to make Chavez the enemy.

Chavez was elected DEMOCRATICALLY by Venezuelans, and was not a pain in the ass until Dubya (and his clowns in state and the CIA) tried to overthrow him with a coup. Chavez's sin, he wanted Venezuelan oil to benefit Venezuela, not Exxon Mobil or Texaco.

That is a no no in the neo liberal neo con world of globalization.

Not only did Dubya tried to overthrow him with a coup, but when that coup failed, he tried again..

This is what happens when people make enemies out of thin air, to make enemies where there were none before..and "conservatives" (Modern Reagan Bush variety) seem to be very adept at that.

So Chavez finding himself alone against the worlds only superpower took the self preservation step of aligning with others who have been targeted by the neo liberal neo cons of corporate America.

Do I defend Chavez, nope, the man is a dufus, and his own worst enemy, but so is the man he criticizes.

Just like end times born again Fundamentalist Bush has his counterpart in end times Fundamentalist Ahmadinutjob.

I waste my time, I know, but Jihad Watchers would profit by reading Confessions of an Economic Hitman Chavez wasn't the first, the Presidents of Panama (Omar Torrijos) and Ecuador were whacked because they wouldn't take bribes.

Meanwhile while Bush goes on about terrorism, he refuses to charge a man who blew up an airliner killing over a hundred.. I'm talking about Cuban-born former CIA operative Luis Posada Carriles. Seems that some terrorists are sanctified while others are criminals..(blowing up an airliner to kill one man, which is what Carriles did, is criminal).

So what are Chavez and Ahmadinejad up to??
talking about oil perhapas?
using the the good Auspices of the UN in New York to put their efforts together and plan attacks against america?
After the NAM conference ended, the Iranian and Venezuelan teams moved their talks to Caracas where Ahmadinejad continued his talks with Chavez on Sept 17 and 18.
iran has failed in its attempt to convince Cuba in its dire economic straits to accept an Iranian base on its soil. Castro has learnt his earlier lessons and should be given credit for that.
Chavez appears far more naive than the old revolutionary and may well be subverted by the iranians into accepting Iranian intel onto its soil. They may even consider accepting a few iranian missiles onto their territory.
Once Iran goes nuclear , history may repeat itself.
Under the guise of Iranian development aid to Venezuela, intel subversives intent on planning attacks on America will enter after announcements of a new era of economic cooperation between the two countries, i'm guessing.
We must accept that Ahmadinejad who is more cunning than a fox, will attempt to establish himself in america's backyard at any cost.
Iran is quietly working behind the sea of its propaganda against america, to establish South american connections.
