Baghdad (AINA) -- Sources at Baghdad's Yarmouk Hospital announced on Saturday the death of a second Assyrian Christian who fell victim to multiple stab wounds at the Assyrian market in the Doura District. His murder comes a day after the attack on Syriac Catholic Church in the Ashar district of central Basra where another man was murdered.Christian Leaders in Iraq have asked their parishioners to be extremely cautious and not to leave their homes as a new group called the young Brigades of Fundamental Islam ' has distributed papers announcing the slaying of all Iraqi Christians in three days if the Pope does not Apologize.

The Pope already apologized for the violence that the Muslims committed when he quoted a 14th Century Byzantium Emperor who said that violence has no place in religion.
What's that called when members of one religious group threaten to kill all the members of another religious group? Oh yes, "genocide". (some wags who have read the Qur'an might say "Islam" is the correct answer). And what is the "international community" required to do when genocide is being planned or taking place? But I'm sure this will get the old Darfur treatment, and will not be worth mentioning in the MSM.

The Sons of Satan (aka the Muslims) getting their daily fix of causing pain and death while the West stand idly by.

I am not Catholic, but I hope that the Roman Catholic priests in the west would use this as an opportunity to explain in the homily (teaching after scripture reading) why this is happening; that they would show from the Koran and Hadith that these Muslims are just following Mohammed. But I'm not holding my breath.

And if Christians start killing muslims and burning mosques or throwing pigs blood, what then, of dogs of Mohammed?

This has been said before, but I might as well say it again: once again, they are assaulting Christians who have nothing to do with the Pope. The Assyrians are Nestorians, with a Patriarch of their own (more than one, if I remember correctly) and no relationship with the Catholics. Which shows that the brutes only really want excuses.

This is a war to the death and the Muslims should be made to realize that complete and abject surrender is the only way for them to survive.
Hulegu, Suvorov, Shivaji, Ferdinand of Spain, and Stalin understood the Muslim mind and dealt with them effectively. We should deal with them the same way.

Provoslavni,
Most sensible suggestion. Have thought self that 1 = 1000 fidels. Am afraid of deletion myself, or would be making myself more clear.

"The young Brigades of Fundamental Islam"
Careful, this name is getting too close to the truth for the P.C. crowd to spin and get away with.
All this is turmoil leading us to a event that WILL start a world wide conflict, one that must end with islam giving unconditional surrender.
War is brewing, and it will explode into view with the next great attack of this century on the west. The west will not start it, but will see the end of islam after it is said and done.

Paolo, you are right, but they don't care. In some cases it might be actual ignorance (as if this would make this sort of insane violence OK), but in most cases I think they simply do not care.
There is endless dispagaging of non-Muslims' "ignorance" by even fairly moderate Muslims for not understanding the fine nuances of Islamic concepts like "Shaheed" and "Jihad", yet no comprable upset by Christians over Muslims not understanding distinctions between Christian denominations, or that "Worshippers of the Cross" is not accurate.
As I've said elsewhere, there is often just the blanket conception of Western or Middle-Eastern non-Muslims as "Jews and Christians", even when referring to Secularists. All are potential victims. My heart goes out to all Christians now in Muslim lands. All are at risk now, even more than usual.

Provolsavni and FedUp: Nazism is not only criminal, it is stupid. It so happens that I am Italian. The Nazis murdered a member of my own family, and in many ways the echoes of those days of horror have affected my family until my own time. But it also achieved precisely nothing. From 1943 to 1945, the mass of the Italian population was against the Germans, and in April 1945 250,000 Partisans swept down from the Alps to drive the Herrenvolk out of Milan, Turin and Genoa, before the Allies ever got there, while the regular Italian army freed Bologna. Nazi war crimes were a waste of time that only made the subject populations more bitter and rebellious. You are a couple of fools with no knowledge of history. For your information, and in no uncertain terms, bloodthirsty morons nearly always lose.

At this rate the syrian christians will be completely eliminated by arab islamic terrorists.
Unless something is done immediately it is certain that within next 20 years syrian chritians will become refugees in their own country,
just like balochis have become minority in their own homeland opressed and perpetrated by Punjabis.
The scourge of terror is following around the world.

Paolo,
Before the first half of my post was deleted (Why???) I never mentioned the nazis. I did mention Stalin and advocated proportional killing of the enemy 1000 to one. Anyone who has read Clauswitz, Patton or Joshua understands where that comes from.

One more thought on proportional killing in war is the case of Samson who killed 3000 in his suicide.
"Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport..."
"Then Samson prayed to the LORD, 'O Sovereign LORD, remember me. O God, please strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes'... Samson said, 'Let me die with the Philistines!' Down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more as he died than while he lived." (Judges 16: 27,28 & 30).
Perhaps Samson is the ancient equivalent of a suicide bomber. He certainly didn't distinquish between enemy soldiers and non-combatants but killed them all women and men.
Maybe some will condemn him but Rabbinical literature identifies Samson with Bedan; the Judge mentioned by Samuel in his farewell address (1 Samuel 12:11) among the Judges that delivered Israel from their enemies. The name "Samson" is derived from shemesh (= "sun"), so that Samson bore the name of God, who is also "a sun and shield" (Psalms 84:12). As God protected Israel, so did Samson watch over it in his generation, judging the people even as did God. Samson's strength was divinely derived (Talmud, Tractate Sotah 10a]). Samson resembled God in requiring neither aid nor help (Midrash Genesis Rabbah xcviii. 18).
Saint Paul list Samuel in the first Christian litany of saints (Hebrews 11:32 & 38) describing him among those "of whom the world was not worthy." Inspired by Samson, during the Crusades, the Knights Templar destroyed one of their own ships, killing 140 Christians in order to kill ten times as many Muslims.
So condemn my advocacy of proportional slaughter, but I believe I stand on a firm foundation in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Sadly, Iraq is the only place left where the language of Jesus, Aramaic, is still spoken among Christians. But yet again, the Religion of Peace, Islam, is showing it's true colors by killing those of other faiths. Mohammed, who lived by the sword, still lives within his followers. Bible prophecy is taking shape before our very eyes.

As for this fool with no knowledge of history, I have a Master's Degree in History and have done post-graduate work in prestigious universities on two continents.
Paolo also wrote: "For your information, and in no uncertain terms, bloodthirsty morons nearly always lose"
Really? Tell that to the early Muslims who conquered an empire from Spain to India. In fact, the most bloodthirsty are the winners of wars in virtually every case. The Axis were defeated because the allies were willing to fire bomb targets with large civilian populations like Dresden and Tokyo, not to mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As I wrote above: not only did I not refer to the Nazis, but I was specifically thinking of Stalin's deportation and massacres of the Chechens. It kept them subdued until the collapse of the Soviet Union.
However the clearest example of "bloodthirsty morons" winning are the way your ancestors ended the Carthaginian threat at the end of the Third Punic War when Roman soldiers under Scipio Aemilianus pulled the Phoenician warships out into the harbor and burned them before the city, and went from house to house, slaughtering and enslaving the people. The city was set ablaze, and everything that did not burn was plowed down.
As Tacitus wrote about Rome's defeat of the Iceni under Boudica:
"Ubi solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant" -
"They made a desert and called it peace"
Roman policy may have been "bloodthirsty" but the Pax Romana lasted well over a century.

ISLAMFORLOSERS: No, I think that the Mideast, South Asia, and Insular Southeast Asia need a larger, not smaller Christian presence--and there is the possibility it will be gained by defections from Islam. Yes, conversion is a two-way street; with Christianity to Islam being the result of fear, bribes, or a combination of the two; while from Islam to Christianity it's due to the realization that Islam is a lie.

Islam and the West nowadays remind me of a battered wife and her abusive husband. Everything Muslims say seems to be 'look what you made me do'. Muslims are the sick puppy here, and their permanent murderous rages are just more proof of that, were proof needed.
