Better dying through chemistry. From AP: "Iraq terrorist calls scientists to jihad"
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Al-Qaida in Iraq's leader, in a chilling audiotape released Thursday, called for nuclear scientists to join his group's holy war and urged insurgents to kidnap Westerners so they could be traded for a blind Egyptian sheik who is in a U.S. prison.
The fugitive terror chief said experts in the fields of "chemistry, physics, electronics, media and all other sciences -- especially nuclear scientists and explosives experts" should join his group's jihad, or holy war, against the West.
"We are in dire need of you," said the speaker, who identified himself as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir -- also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri. "The field of jihad can satisfy your scientific ambitions, and the large American bases (in Iraq) are good places to test your unconventional weapons, whether biological or dirty, as they call them."
The 20-minute audio was posted to a Web site that frequently airs al-Qaida messages. The voice could not be independently identified, but it was thought to be al-Masri's. He is believed to have succeeded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who died in a U.S. airstrike north of Baghdad in June, as head of the al-Qaida-linked organization.
Thursday's message focused attention on Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, an Egyptian cleric who was convicted in 1995 of seditious conspiracy for his advisory role in a plot to blow up five New York City landmarks, including the United Nations.
Barghouti isn't the only one scheming about prisoner swaps:
"I appeal to every holy warrior in the land of Iraq to exert all efforts in this holy month so that God may enable us to capture some of the Western dogs to swap them with our sheik and get him out of his dark prison," said al-Masri, who is also Egyptian.
He also said more than 4,000 foreign militants have been killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 -- the first known statement from the insurgents about their death toll.
It was unclear why al-Masri would advertise the loss of the group's foreign fighters, but martyrdom is revered among Islamic fundamentalists, and could be used as a recruiting tool. Analysts said the announcement was likely a boast aimed at drumming up support.
"It's showing the level of dedication to their cause, the level of sacrifice jihadists are making," said Ben N. Venzke, director of the Washington-based IntelCenter, which monitors terrorism communications.
"In a strange kind of way, it's almost showing a sense of strength and purpose in their cause to other people around world who might be thinking about joining the fight," Venzke said in a telephone interview.
The statement followed the release of a U.N. report Wednesday that said fewer foreign fighters have been killed or captured in Iraq in the last few months, "suggesting that the flow has slackened." The report also said some fighters had expressed dissatisfaction they were asked to kill fellow Muslims rather than Western soldiers and that the only role for them was to be suicide bombers.
Still, the report said al-Qaida "has gained by continuing to play a central role in the fighting and in encouraging the growth of sectarian violence; and Iraq has provided many recruits and an excellent training ground."

Until we can get muslims under control and until they can act civilized, I suggest we don't allow them in our universities. If they aren't going to live in the 21st Century, they don't need the education and technology of ours.
This guy needs to be hunted down and taken down fast.

What a disgusting development from these maniacs.
As bad as the Nazis were even they didn't stoop to this level of depravity (at least when fighting on the Western Front and not counting the Holocaust). One hopes if any mad scientists join this unholy cause their experiments will literally explode in their faces.
As for the Sheikh: this piece of crap left Egypt because the authorities were after him there for terrorist acts. How does he thank the country that took him in? By plotting terrorist acts in the US of course. Now they want him back so now we'll have him causing more trouble as the crackpots kidnap people to trade for this loser. He should be given back-to Egypt, whose police force is well trained in painful methods. Either that or we send this bastard back full of bullet holes.

Here's hoping that most of the very few muslim scientists, chemists, computer geeks, and other Western educated professionals will not choose to forego successful, prosperous lives to die for the jihad. I'm sure there are plenty who are more than willing, and sought high levels of Western education for the sole purpose of using it against the West in some mega-destructive manner.
That is why we should not educate them; let Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, and every other desolate, stagnated, archaic islamic cesspool join the twenty-first century and establish their own institutions of higher learning, schools that teach something constructive instead of hate, intolerance, supremacy, and prurient, maniacal islam. It has been proven that Western education does not instill moderation or even sanity in muslims. It only empowers them to do us harm by teaching them our culture, our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. What do they offer us in return for our generosity? Have they shut down any malevolent madrassas lately, or opened new ones in America? Have they removed their anti-American, anti-Christian/Jewish hate literature from American mosques? How many Bibles have they burned this week in Saudi Arabia; how many Christians have been arrested for practicing their religion?
The double standards are disgusting and we are fools to put up with them. If I hear the hackneyed phrase "building bridges between muslims and the "other" one more time, I think I will scream. You cannot build a bridge to nowhere, and over fourteen hundred years have demonstrated that muslims cannot get along with anyone, not even other muslims. The divide is permanent and it's going to take more than "bridges" to make a connection. Concrete and steel walls to keep them out would be more prudent.
I recently saw some of the horrible damage in Biloxi/Gulfport from hurricane Katrina. One of the bridges connecting Ocean Springs to Biloxi was severely damaged; the middle was missing, and several other sections. As I stood looking at that battered bridge, I couldn't help but compare the big gap in the middle to islam and muslims. Wherever they go, they deliberately create a chasm between themselves and everyone else. They squat in their segregated enclaves and foment unrest, victimhood, imaginary grievances and discrimination. They work hard at creating divisions, then whine for us to build bridges.

Islamaniac doctors abducting infidels to conduct medical experiments as in Auschwitz? How about feeding infidels to the lions like in ancient Rome? These guys stoop to the lowest levels possible then are outraged when anyone calls them on it. Where are the prominent Muslims to denounce this kind of insanity? Maybe when these kinds of atrocities are firmly denounced by Muslim spokesmen the need for a website like this will disappear. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.

Nobody is going to listen. Nobody is going to do anything. Nuclear scientists bother me, but not as much as biological and chemical ones. And this is the threat that the world has been ignoring for too long. Entire cities are going to be wiped out by jihadis using these weapons, and the reaction from the world would be to bomb some cave in afghanistan or some street in iraq. The folks 'up there' can't be bothered by ground reality, so all we are going to do is let off some big firecrackers in the wilderness and maybe kill some jackass riding his camel. 'War on Terror'.

Heidlberg, Texas Tech, USC, Carneigie Mellon, and the U. of Minnesota emerging from a private jet onto the hot sunny tarmac of the Islamic Emirate of Waziristan's central airport.
With misty eyes and bobbing Adam's apples, emotional, they stream into a quonset hut for a 3-day knowledge exchange session to share with note-taking Moslem "scientists" and also to bemoan imperialist Western militaries and how they have helped threaten, harm, humiliate, and exploit Moslems the world over.
Keith Obermann, Dr. Phil, Katie Couric, John Stewart, Oprah, and Geraldo will also be there, outside the quonset hut. And they too will mist up, and maybe even openly weep, on camera.

Historically,scientists have endeavored to improve life for humanity. Leave it to the Islamaniacs to follow in the footsteps of Hitler to shoot for the opposite in expecting scientists to create death and destruction. Even Hitler could claim (insanely, of course) that his experiments were an attempt to improve his "master race". These crazies can't even claim that the "scientific" work they seek will enhance their
so called religion-it's all about killing,killing and more killing. What happens if a mad scientist takes up this offer and unwittingly unleashes something that kills Muslims as well as infidels? You'd think prominent,moderate Muslims would denounce this insane appeal on that basis alone.
