Jihad Watch reader James has pointed out to me that Amazon.com allows customers to add tag words or phrases to books. Here's one for my book The Truth About Muhammad: "behead-this-guy."
Does Amazon allow death threat tag lines?
UPDATE: As of now, 4:15 AM PDT, the tag has been removed.

What a surprise. It was only a matter of time before the crackpots would come out of the woodwork and do something like this. Maybe such baloney will increase curiosity in the book and lead to even more sales.

Isn't it possible to complain to Amzon - it is after all an incitement to crime. On the other hand, I suppose, it is a standing reminder to all who happen upon it, that Islam appears to encourage psychopaths.

Just for fun, read the profile of 'Tara' the person who created the tag. Sounds like a pseudo-intellectual, angry liberal with Muslim sympathies and a lot of time on her hands.
Not nearly as interesting as the grammatically challenged email death threat guy from earlier this month.

Hey, what's wrong with a call to behead Muhammad?

Obviously Tara is pretty stupid, but I don't suppose Amazon can be held anymore responsible for comments than Jihadwatch can.

Get rid of the beard Robert - they'll never recognise you!
...and change your name, address, country, planet and dimension.
Problem solved.
Or, we could just end Islam.

Robert:
Admit it; "Behead-This-Guy" is a kicka** nickname!
I want one!

It just shows that whichever way you look at it, the truth hurts.

There are still no reviews of the book on
Amazon.UK yet and no reports of riots or burning embassies.
They`re ( muslims)still hoping it will go unnoticed.

"irreconcilably- venomous"
Isn't that grounds for divorce?

Darn! It's a real shame that the comment was removed. It's not that I wish Mr. Spencer any harm, but leaving such a comment speaks volumes about those volunteering for dhimmitude. And no, Amazon cannot be held responsible for reviews posted there. Voting not helpful on such a review would point out the idiocy of the reviewer, however.

I pray for the best, of course. And if it's any consolation, Spencer has already gone down in history. Perhaps in a major way. The best way to prevent a cataclysm with Islam is to educate the public now, including Muslims. Spencer has taken the lead. There is some hope.

But let's not forget Ali Sina and others, and that's just the internet. Then there are many authors of fine books, but who reads books anymore?

alladinsane57,
There will be no islamic furor over Robert's book. The islamists do not want to give him any free press. People will read it, see how much sense it makes, and the ROP will lose more credibility. It is much better to protest cartoons and Papal quotations.

Lili;
If they ever find his body, and take his head off, a riot would surely follow.

Dear Robert Spencer,
It's simple just call yourself Bob Spencer, and the trail is dead, these dumbarsed morons would take year to figure out the great satans deception and when you do just go back to calling yourself Robert Spencer and they will have to start all over again.
I note the double standards of the wests various commercial & public institutions when it comes to legitimate criticism of Islam, which is studiously edited and re written so as not to offend the tender sensibilities of Islams travelling band of sociopaths who call for and or engage in the decapitation of Islams critics or perceived enemies.
Keep up the fight Robert oops sorry Bob,truth always wins outin the end.
Yours faithfully,
Aussie.

I dropped Amazon a line and asked them if they now allow death threat tags. No response as of yet.
