No hint of the identity of these "youths" beyond their immigrant status. No hint of the fact that they are shouting, as they shouted last year, "Allahu akbar." French Intifada Update from AFP:
Hundreds of people marched in a silent tribute to two teenagers whose death exactly one year ago sent a wave of urban riots surging through France, sparking the country's most serious social crisis in 30 years.French authorities were on alert for a new flare-up of violence after youth gangs, some carrying handguns, torched -- and in one case hijacked -- three buses near Paris on Wednesday, but police reported no major trouble overnight.
In Clichy-sous-Bois, the poor northeast Paris suburb where the riots erupted on October 27, 2005, around 1,000 people, most of them youngsters, filed quietly Friday morning past the spot where the two boys died.
"Once again, France and the world are watching us," the mayor of Clichy Claude Dilain told the crowd. "We need the calm, dignity and courage that are visible here to prevail. Let us show them who we really are."
"Let's not give anyone cause to point the finger at us," added local association leader Samir Mihi.
Many of the marchers wore white T-shirts printed with the words "Zyed and Bouna, Dead for nothing."
Zyed Benna, 17, and Bouna Traore, 15, both from immigrant families of African descent, were electrocuted as they hid from a police patrol in a power sub-station.
Riots broke out in Clichy that night, quickly spreading to dozens of immigrant-populated suburbs in the Paris region and beyond.
Night after night for three weeks, youth gangs clashed with police, torching more than 10,000 cars and firebombing 300 buildings in around 275 towns, until order was officially restored on November 17.
With the approach of the anniversary, police and local mayors have warned that the conditions that led to the riots remain firmly in place in the poor out-of-town neighbourhoods, plagued by unemployment of 30 to 40 percent.
Nationwide, police were under orders to be vigilant but to keep their presence low-key, to avoid encouraging confrontations with youths, officers told AFP....
Last year's riots -- which led the government to declare a state of emergency, a measure not enacted since the Algerian war half a century earlier -- cast an unforgiving spotlight on France's trouble in integrating its Arab-origin and black communities.
Badly shaken by the crisis, the government promised measures such as an extra 100 million euros (125 million dollars) for local associations, bigger training schemes and a crackdown on racial discrimination for jobs.

Well, not much has changed for these people in the last 60 years. The French still dont know how to walk tall and carry a gun. They still dont have a clue on how to defend their property, families and country...Here we go again....

From the article
the government promised measures such as an extra 100 million euros (125 million dollars) for local associations, bigger training schemes and a crackdown on racial discrimination for jobs [...] the conditions that led to the riots remain firmly in place in the poor out-of-town neighbourhoods, plagued by unemployment of 30 to 40 percent.
Well, that was 125 million dollars well-spent. And that was in addition to whatever they were already paying the "youths" in welfare payouts. All that money, all that effort, and the "youths" haven't changed one whit, they remain firmly in place, in the 7th Century.
Think what France could have used that money for, if they didn't have to pay tribute/graft money to the "youths".

Woo hoo! I love paying money to barbarians, especially when it won't do anything to make the situation better. Let's let them build a new mosque to plan their deeds in.

Whoa! If they died for Allah, is this not blasphemy? The rioters may have to now fight one another. Just like Sunni and Shia.

Privates talk tactics, Generals talk logistics. The idiots marching and burning represent a growing population. The number of guys who show up to work on a regular basis and pay taxes is shrinking. And those who control the money are leaving.
We should be grateful for France. It will serve as a case study to illustrate the consequences of weakness.
at October 27, 2006 4:49 PM
Throwing money at the problem is so European and will ultimately give us much of the same: more intimidation and segregation. I've seen many parts of Paris but money is not what immigrant communities really lack. Most of the "youths" have the latest Nike shoes and mobile phones. I know, life is really tough out there. I remember sitting in a coffee bar hearing mobile phone ring tones calling out "Allah..." I kid you not.
We can expect to see these well-integrated "youths" demonstrations becoming yearly events, including the violence and vandalism.

The french brought this on themselves by encouraging not only immigration but by giving incentives and refusing to even record who and from where the immigrants came from. Liberal policy’s are not enough, give these misguided youth more benefits, it is too late for you french so save the rest of Europe. Immigrants should be given free houses, large amounts of spending money and anything else they want. Do not insult these immigrants by asking them to pay taxes or work for their keep, you invited them, now take care of them. These youths will probably be happy once you native born non muslim french leave and allow them to enjoy france. That will cure all your problems in a peaceful manner. At least until they use all of frances resources and expand their empire. Now how do I talk the rest of europe into excepting native french refugees? I’m sure they would rather have the muslims.

I really don't get it. The French ban headscarves which (I'm sure many here will disagree about this) are fairly harmless, but they still haven't figured out that thugs who start fires need to be shot, not negotiated with.

Well, shoot! That means that their genes were taken out of the pool.
When will the French police start using that water cannon I heard about a while ago?

I assume that they were not Baptists from Kenya.

This has the potential for a new world record, they first time a government has surrendered to its “youth”
Don’t get me wrong the “youths” will have to be dealt with but we have plenty of time for that, lets not do anything for at least 75 years.

I really do not care much for the french. I realize that will surprise some of you but I have reasons and so do most of you. All our current problems with radicals attempting to build atom bombs would not have been possible without, you guessed it, the french. After the muslims finish them off, without even a thank you for their trouble, we will be left with a new and improved france. All those pesky, statues, churches, libraries, universities and museums will be gone. In their place we will have bored, jobless, uneducated, violent, well armed muslim youth. Since the jihad against france will be a distant memory they will probably attempt to expand their jihad to other countries. This will not be easy as all of the automobiles and other methods of travel will have been destroyed. So if you see thousands of “youths” looking for trouble and they appear to have sore feet, rocks, sticks and firearms, drive away from them and don’t look back. Resist the European tendency to conduct working groups and hold charity drives, just move away from them, they can’t get far on foot.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/10/27/female.circumcision.ap/index.html
The trial of an Atlanta-area father accused of circumcising his 2-year-old daughter with scissors is focusing attention on an ancient African practice that experts say is slowly becoming more common in the U.S. as immigrant communities grow.
Khalid Adem, a 30-year-old immigrant from Ethiopia, is charged with aggravated battery and cruelty to children.
Human rights observers said they believe this is the first criminal case in the U.S. involving the 5,000-year-old practice.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, using figures from the 1990 Census, estimated that 168,000 girls and women in the U.S. had undergone the procedure or were at risk of being subjected to it.

Occasionally I like to give advice; here are a few a tips for france.
Cars do not self-combust
Surrender is not a policy that allows for expansion of your empire.
Those muslims policemen you hired last year are also burning your cars
The imams you asked to talk with the “youths” are also burning your cars
Older muslims are also burning your cars.
Making billions on weapons deals doesn’t help you if you can not spend it faster than your youths can burn it.
There is a solution, buy more bicycles

I apologize but my comment is unrelated to this post. It specifically concerns the debate on the medved show today. After less than 5 minutes I could no longer listen to the obfuscations, misdirection and dissembly of Jeff Sadicci. I may have missed something but it seems you fell into the trap of debating history. The conflict and issues with islam we face today may have be based in history and christianity may be guilty of past disgressions but that is irrelevant and simply clouds the issue.
"Mainstream" leaders around the world tacitly, if not overtly, support the vilification of christianity and judaism with impunity. They call fo rthe destruction of israel and muslim leaders within the west make no apologies for attacking the very institutions that make their presence possible. Sadicci and others like him should not be allowed to gain control of the debate and shift blame. The fact remains, the west is under attack and has been for 1400 years with some time off in the last century or 2. Western civilization is dying in europe and we are aiding and abetting its murderers. Stop falling into a defensive trap and attack today not yesterday.

Good Lord, how many euphemisms can one come up with for angry, crazy, violent young Muslims than in this article?
And here is the clincher proof that the authorities have lost the battle even before giving their officers a chance to put an end to it: "to avoid encouraging confrontations with youths."

Well, I hate to gloat, but personally I take a perverse pleasure in waiting for the day when the mossies (who will soon be in charge) arrest the entire political and civil service elite in France. And we all know what sort of fate will be awaiting them.
Am I strange, or does anyone else feel the same way?

Muslim or not they need to face the law. And if they start this crap in my town, Allah help them, or should I say SATAN have them!

#17: I see your point. It's bad in the Netherlands, too. Notice that these "youths" attacked the bus following the Friday prayers, as Muslims frequently do against non-Muslims elsewhere after receiving an encouraging "sermon" by some imam. It is serious when such blatant attacks on dhimmis are hardly even mentioned in the media. That's how the situation is in Iran, Pakistan and the Arab world, and now in the heart of Western Europe:
Media Silence On Attack On Amsterdam Bus
A bus with passengers in Amsterdam was attacked by a home-made chemical explosive on Friday evening. The incident received only limited media attention. Police do not believe terrorism is involved.
At around 10:00 p.m. Friday evening in the Duivendrecht district, a group of youths threw a plastic bottle with chemicals into a stationary bus carrying 20 passengers. The bottle exploded and a panic broke out. Two passengers suffered burns on their legs, local broadcaster RTV Noord-Holland reported based on police information.
RTV Noord-Holland said it is unknown what liquid the bottle contained. Unconfirmed sources however say it was a liquid for unstopping drains. If this substance is mixed with aluminium and shaken up in a bottle, it explodes a few seconds later. As well as burns, the explosion can cause blindness and knock people unconscious.
The two passengers, women aged 36 and 27, had their burns treated in hospital. The police confirmed that the driver was also hospitalised, for breathing problems. A spokesman said the assumption is not terrorism but "mischievous behaviour." The perpetrators disappeared without trace.
A spokeswoman for Kruidvat drugstore in Duivendrecht confirmed on local TV station AT5 that many youngsters have recently been buying the product for unstopping drains. The store has removed the product from its shelves.
Algemeen Dagblad newspaper reported the incident on its website. Otherwise, it was not reported by leading media.

Maybe France will try to solve its problem by spending a couple of million euros setting up Night Basketball for these yoots. Give the kids something to do instead of burning cars. After all, the jobs programs, increased welfare, better housing, free education, increased rent subsidies, and state-built mosques have not solved the problem.
In the meantime, if I lived in France, I would make friends with an old, old veteran or the daughter of one from World War One. Buy the pistol that has been hiding in the closet for all these years. Or, if I were flush with cash, I would go through the hassle of buying a legal shotgun. Very expensive, as I recall, but very effective when the yoots come knocking on my door.
That's what they will eventually do, of course. Just like in Algeria. The muslims will go from door to door and kill off the infidels who live at the edges of their neighborhoods, or those few who still live inside and can't afford to move away. It will happen one night, very quickly, and the police will be too frightened to come.
Frenchmen, hide your women!! The barbarians are within the walls!!!

Well, the yoots have quit marching and are back to burning again. So says the Internet.

Off-Topic Media Alert:
FoxNews had a teaser promo for a show which will air tomorrow (Sat) at 2pm EST entitled "Why We Fight" which is supposed to be a frank examination of radical Islam and its activities around the world. The title at least is promising.
The content may be too as there is supposed to be discussion of the movie "Obsession" which could be illuminating.
The host will be the smart and beautiful Jaime Colby, reason enough right there to tune in.
Hopefully it will be worthwhile.

One of the great powers of Islam is its incrementalism. Global Jihad, high Jihad, lesser Jihad, just plain whining. They never quit, refueled 5 times daily and a full servicing every Friday evening.
By contrast, infidels are peoples of grace, forgiveness, and patience. So, when we finally do lash back at the relentless Moslems, it will be in a big way.
And the bullshit artists who run this planet will then be able to make the the good ol' disproportionateness critique, and win public support. Remember that this critique was used in the 35 day war in southern Lebanon just this year, and it was a resounding PR success.
After a relentless 35 yr threat of violence via invective and open threats, actual violence both in the oppression of Leb Dhimmis and personal attacks on Israeli Jews, and finally fusillade missile attacks on peaceful Northern Israel.
And the MSM ate it up. And the public infected with Fictivism did too.

What gets me about all this is the effort they must go to to separate themselves from all the wonderful opportunities and pleasures living in France brings. Don't give me that 'discrimination' bullsh*t! Those awful suburbs are actually pretty well constructed overall, and a short metro/bus ride from central Paris. If the locals simply looked after the places, they would be great places to live. Overcrowded? Well, don't produce so many kids and don't keep bringing in more relations! France doesn't let people starve, they have a pretty good welfare system.
And as for what to do with your time if you don't happen to have a job (this applies to many people, not just 'youths'): throughout France, I saw people of all ethnicities enjoying the cultural treasures and historic places that are free, or cheap, for all to see. If those 'youths' dress cleanly and show a reasonable attitude, they can enter any museum, art gallery, concert chamber, church etc and study the wonders of western history and culture.
Oh, I forgot, they don't *want* to enjoy western culture. Well, in Paris you have to strain pretty hard against it! Why live there then???

"The tree is known by its fruit"
The Koran is the tree - and the brazen 'youths' are its fruit.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
But hey - lets all build more mosques
shall we?
