"Women are like uncovered meat" Muslim cleric linked to terror groups

And this has been known for 20 years.

Here is a story about the "uncovered meat" remarks. And here is the same Sheikh saying that 9/11 was God's work.

"Muslim cleric linked with terror groups," by Jim Dickens and Glenn Milne for The Sunday Telegraph, with thanks to LGF:

ASIO warned authorities 20 years ago that Sheik Taj al-Din Al-hilaly could inflame communal violence in Australia.

Court judgments show ASIO initially believed the controversial mufti posed a risk to the community because of his alleged propensity to cause or promote violence.

Shortly after his arrival in Australia as the new imam of Lakemba Mosque in 1982, Sheik Hilaly was also linked with a shadowy terrorist group, Soldiers of God, which is thought to have been involved in the assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat in 1981.

A group of the same name, also known as Ansar al Islam, is among those listed by the Federal Government as a banned terrorist organisation.

Western governments believe Ansar al Islam has close ideological and operational links with al-Qaeda.

Sheik Hilaly was also alleged to have endorsed suicide bombing, verbally attacked women and preached a highly political message of extremism.

The Sunday Telegraph columnist Piers Akerman writes today that a former intelligence officer said Sheik Hilaly's name first surfaced in a report by one of Australia's most senior intelligence assets in Cairo. The claimed the sheik spent a number of years training in Libya and was sent to Australia to train extremists.

Akerman writes the report was shelved and the agent who sent it believes that a campaign was waged against its contents.

Not surprising, given the campaigns that are waged against those who tell the truth about such matters today.

For God sake why do we worry about these kind of guys? Simply ship'em out onto a next banana boat. If any Government is not taking a simple step to remove them then it is their own fault.

He can say what the heck he likes, I know how I will deal with his kind if his kind crosses my way by an inch. He won't be saying a thing, period.

The question is why did our government (thanks Bob and Paul) grant this idiot citizenship? Oh and when you action heroes figure out how to deport a CITIZEN do let us know.

Posted by: payingattention [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 28, 2006 6:02 PM

Deportation should become a standard procedure with such people. I'm sure a Philade;phian lawyer could find a loophole in the Universl Declaration of Human Rights to make this a practical solution. I alwys find it amusing that Muslim treason-preachers argue that they might be tortured if they were returned to their native countries. Since their "prophet" fully condoned the use of torture, they should be overjoyed to return to a land where the example of the perfect man and model for all time, is so venerated that he is imitated thirteen centuries later.

Now we can sit back and be entertained by the impuissance of our elected leaders as they battle with this problem. The Australian Labor Party (ALP) ignored solid advice that al-Hilaly’s presence in Australia was inimicitious to peace in our artificial society. The ALP was attracted to al-Hilaly because he could deliver muslim votes. So our political parties were prepared to put female well-being and safety at risk in order to secure votes.

We are now overcome by a high level of schadenfreude as we watch our politicians from both major parties try to tame al-Hilaly. They are the same political parties full of spivs, liars and thieves who let this anhedonic misogynist stay in our country and deliver his syllogisms over the last 26 years. These are the same politicians who introduced anti-religious vilification legislation and anti-discrimination legislation and other legislation in order to accommodate muslims and their vile religion.

The bloke who has his finger-prints all over al-Hilaly’s application for citizenship, ex-ALP Prime Minister Paul Keating (world’s greatest treasurer – the ALP is driven by iconocentrism instead of intelligence) has secreted himself in his bolthole and declines to comment.

The British did just that, they deported an Evil worshipping Muslim Cleric back to his goat homes. He had UK citizenship.

Is that action enough for you.

Hi Salad.

Your point would have had more impact if most of us knew what inimicitious, anhedonic, syllogisms, iconocentrism, meant, but maybe it makes your point appear wise eh?

Im talking about Australian citizens cowboy. Id welcome if you allowed Hilaly to swap his Australian passport for a British one. Then you can do as you want.

Of course our murderous pro-raping Sheik has NO intention of leaving Infidel shores...Where else would he get $400,000 a year to enjoy his fantasies and luxurious lifestyle??As his mind seems so fixed on SEX,probably this lustful old geezer is planning another Islamic marriage to an underage girl. These so called sheiks are DISGUSTING but what is worse in my opinion is that our leaders allow them to suck fully on the Welfare Teat and pander to their Islamic 'Needs.'

The ads must be true. We in the West have become lazy. Fancy having to expend energy looking up a word.

Mr Fitzgerald has put up a few topics with the following words: syncretistic, immutable, dar al-Islam, dar al-harb, umma al-islamiyya, Sassanian, Byzantium, Aspen-Xanadu'ed, sensorium, prognostications, radicalization, corollary, inveigled, la carriere ouverte aux inshallah-fatalism, tarbaby and J'en ai marre. I went to the comments section but found no sign of your critique.

I will be watching you and Doctor Bulldog to make sure that you chide Mr Fitzgerald.

No, This Mullah is wrong. Women are not like uncovered meat. If there is uncovered meat out there, and someone takes it without the permission of owner, there is provision in our great religion that hands of the person should be amputated. But if some one rapes a woman, it is not the man's fault at all and he does not deserve the punishment but it is the fault of the woman. This proves that woman is not like uncovered meat and this mullah is wrong and not a scholar well versed with our great relgious text. Allah ho akabar

Thanks to Paul Keating we are stuck with this idiot "cleric". I have difficulty calling a mufti or imam by the name of cleric because they do not function as a priest or a pastor. Anyway, this man was allowed to remain in Australia, after he overstayed on a visa. If it was a Christian Chinese woman who was 8 months pregnant, then they felt no guilt at all about sending her back even though she faced a forced abortion (it was her second child). The comparison I am making here is that the Chinese woman was an illegal immigrant, and al-Hilaly was also an illegal immigrant at the point when he overstayed his visa. However the treatment dealt to the Chinese woman and this man was very different. The woman was forced to return home when she was 8 months pregnant. The Chinese government killed her baby through a forced late term abortion. She was then severely punished. Her rights as a human being seeking refugee status were overlooked because of whatever agreements existed on the issue of these illegals who were leaving China and elsewhere by boat. Australia is guilty of the murder of her infant, and guilty of any harm that came to this woman and her child. The real hypocrisy then, is that al-Hilaly did not face the same type of treatment. He was not taken to an encampment in the middle of the desert or in a remote location in Australia whilst he waited for a decision regarding his visa status. He was given assistance by both Gerry Hand and Chris Hurford (two mental giants (read midgets) in Australian politics). Their legacy is what we hear today.

Al-Hilaly has been constantly stirring up trouble. He always seems to have an answer about how he was being taken out of context. However, he has been known for a very long time to be a supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas.

He has stated that he will not resign until the White House is wiped out of existence.

Zena Warrior Princess: Does it make any difference to women being treated as covered or uncovered meat? What about men being cats after meat?

Paying attention...just buy a decent dictionary or use the internet. A new word a day will not overload you surely?

After several months of deciphering Hugh's posts Salad_In's are nothing to whinge about.

Salad_In ...this muslim swine is scarcely anhedonic and not misogynistic. If he were the former he would not be married. As for the latter he only hates western women for daring to stir up his uncontrollable islamic hedonism into inimicitious and painful frustration.
DO not mistake islamic arrogance for prudishness. They are intolerant of us for allowing our women to force them into an open lack of selfcontrol which is typical of them. They also are intolerant of anything which they cannot control.

Below is from a DELETED SMH site and while I do not agree with some of it , it is relevant:

RAIDAH, a young Muslim woman from Sydney, wrote to me last year with a
warning: "Freedom needs to be put under the microscope before society
implodes." The big problem, she argued, was excessive liberality.

"There is no longer any consideration for the broken marriages nor the
children left behind in the wake of their mother's sexual selfishness.
Relations with the opposite sex are now simply based on lust, not the desire
to have a partner in building a tranquil home. No wonder society is so
dysfunctional . Marriage is a joke, and so is having children. The
procreational instinct has been warped to the extent where sex is all about
the enjoyment, not the purpose of perpetuating the species.

"We've exhausted ourselves with adultery, fornication, incest, sexual abuse,
pornography . Relationships between men and women that have been defined by
religions through the centuries have stood the test of time, as opposed to
Australia's social deterioration throughout the decades. Many of my Muslim
friends don't see Islamic values as being outdated. Western values grow less
appealing as the years go by."

Raidah was not oppressed. She was scornful of the non-Muslim mainstream.

A few months later I received a letter from a medical academic who
represented another piece of Sydney's social mosaic.

He wrote: "My wife was a primary school teacher at a school in the Auburn
area. In that time she saw a constant stream of racism, sexism and abuse [by
Muslims towards non-Muslims] from many parents, especially men, but also by
boys, some very young. This was allowed to continue by the NSW Department of
Education under the guise of tolerance or multiculturalism. A community
absolved of any social norms of behaviour, and completely insular, far more
than any other we had worked with."

Then came another letter, from a retired detective, John Doran, responding
to some comments by the leader of the Lakemba mosque, Sheik Taj el-Din al
Hilaly, embroiled in another controversy of his own making.

"In 1998, I attended the mosque in Lakemba following a disagreement which
erupted between members of the Lebanese Muslim Association and the Islamic
Youth Movement members. Pistols and knives were reportedly produced within
the mosque. An ambulance was required following the fracas.

"With [now Superintendent] Stewart Smith, I spoke with the sheik in his
office. He was not helpful to our inquiries . I noted that the sheik had a
Stars and Stripes Uncle Sam recruiting poster on the wall behind his desk,
with a caption, 'I want to murder your women and children'."

Sheik Hilaly is a man of strong opinions, mostly delivered in Arabic, though
what he says in English and what he says in Arabic often contradict. Last
month, when he delivered a sermon about adultery, he was unaware it was
being taped and his sermon would be translated for dissemination to the
wider community.

According to a translation obtained by The Australian, the imam alluded to
some of the recent gang rapes by Muslim men in Sydney when he said: "Then
you get a judge without mercy [who] gives you 65 years. But the problem all
began with who?

"If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in
the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats
come and eat it . whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat? The
uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her
hijab, no problem would have occurred."

When it came to adultery, he said, "responsibility falls 90 per cent of the
time on the woman. Why? Because she possesses the weapon of enticement."

To be fair to Sheik Hilaly, his remarks were published out of their original
language and out of their original context. Nor is he the first Muslim
cleric in Sydney to make such statements. He has also done us all a favour
by exposing the denialism favoured in academic, legal and media circles, and
by some members of the NSW Government, that there is no problem reconciling
community standards about the way women are treated and the attitudes of
many Muslims living in this society.

After no fewer than eight gang-rape trials involving Muslim defendants, and
hundreds of incidents in which women have been insulted as "sluts" and
"whores" by Muslim men, the charade is over. We have a problem.

Paul Sheehan's book, Girls Like You, about a series of gang rapes by Muslims
in Sydney, was published in July.

Raidah was not oppressed. She was scornful of the non-Muslim mainstream.'

Apart from the emphasis placed on the woman as the source of the problem in the first sentence and the reference to Muslim values, which I consider an antithesis of everything that Christ taught... If we substitute 'woman's sexual' with a 'personal', after all, sin is NOT the exclusive domain of the woman, regardless of what Sheik Hilali says... then I agree with what Raidah says.

Raidah's opinion could have been stated by a firebrand fundamental Christian preacher/priest.

This is the first opinion from a Muslim that I have read that more-or-less tallies with my own beliefs as a Christian.
This reinforces my opinion that we all have an innate understanding of the will of God and truth, prior to our education and sometimes even despite it.
That little inner voice called the conscience is ignored at our peril (the good one, not the one that makes you feel REAL good...the other more modest one.).

I see the Islamic Jihad as a scourge of Christ against a Godless world.
Not that I won't fight this Jihad with every ounce of my being.

Posted by: Mike_W [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 29, 2006 5:09 AM

Mike which world do you live in?

What percentage of western people live that lifestyle that you and the dear Sheikh find so repulsive?
I think that you do regret the fact that we cannot burn or scourge anymore for upsetting mother church.

The problem with both you and the Sheik is that you swallow the image without looking at the facts and allow yrself to be drowned by the visual media with its selling point of bare flesh (and this includes Muslims also).

Do you really think that the MAJORITY of people in the west are like this? ie so immoral that promiscuity, greed and laziness are their main motivations?
Do you also feel that because a lesser percentage (decreasing with age) are like this that the whole of society should be held at ransom? Why do you jump in and tar the society that succours you? These freedoms have also bought us the world that we enjoy and this world is the BEST world(even considering islam) in the history of man(less % die of illness, starvation or war than ever before).

You have also totally missed the point here of the sheiks little diatribe. It is NOT about morals but about NONISLAM. If they were the ones who were "decadent" they would still be persecuting us because of our morals. They would find fault no matter what we do.

Whatever we are for they are against us and this recent sexual liberation has NOT been responsible for the previous 1300 yrs of rape that kafirs have endured at the hands of Muslims.

So please get offa yr bandwagon and really see what they are on about. They are ANTI-NONISLAM and it makes NO difference what we do or we dont do and if you really wish to make a point about morals then attack the media who show us the seamy side and constantly(eg, late night TV ads) and who are responsible for making this veneer of indecency seem the norm in the west.

Posted by: MisIslamist [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 29, 2006 7:43 AM

I'm just stating that much of what Raidah said could be what a firebrand Christian preacher might say in a Sunday sermon.

Don't get me wrong.
I despise Islam and what it and Mohammed taught.
But.
I'm encouraged to see that at least one Muslim (Raidah), might have some idea of truth and God.

Every night after midnight here in Sydney,we have women on commercial TV bearing their arses, six inches from the camera with a definite outline of every part of the genitalia.
What does that say about Western morals and the state of our civilization?

It seems remarkably decadent to me.
Not that I don't look, mind.
I'm not perfect.

Posted by: Mike_W [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 29, 2006 8:03 AM

Mike I talk to people at all levels of life in this country and what amazes me is just how decent and sensible most of them are(not all but at a guess 75-80%) and this includes your average hypersexed teenagers. In fact, I would hazard a guess that now there are probably more virgins

The mistake we all make is that we go out to a club or party and see disgusting behaviour and we extrapolate from that. But wrongly so as MOST single people do not frequent clubs and pubs. They may go there occasionally with friends but they often have far better things to do with their lives: sport study etc.

Don't let the media veneer fool you. I know exactly what you mean about those ads but look at the models and guess their age and their choices and you will see a minority and even then they are working girls and not some single mother on social security..

Do you think that such dreadful people, as we Australians are supposed to be, would have donated all those millions to some unappreciative Muslims in Aceh if it were so?

Dont let scum like that sheik fool you. He is far worse than anything we could be and he represents evil personified in the name of Muhammad. Then look at a very moral student of islam as he saws someone's head off in the name of Allah. His morals are NOT our morals and thank god for that.

Don't fall into this newly invented Islamist trap, with modest and manicured young righteous Muslimas, head well covered in scarves, speak the usual taquiyya couched as reasoning speech in place of jihadspeak. Its import remains the same.

' "There is no longer any consideration for the broken marriages nor the
children left behind in the wake of their mother's sexual selfishness.
Relations with the opposite sex are now simply based on lust, not the desire
to have a partner in building a tranquil home. No wonder society is so
dysfunctional . Marriage is a joke, and so is having children. The
procreational instinct has been warped to the extent where sex is all about
the enjoyment, not the purpose of perpetuating the species.'

1. --Ok, relations with the same Islamist sex, as in the Madrassas, is strictly out of ambit here.
2. How about father's sexual selfishness in marrying more than one wife or keeping a harem? Serves Islam, of course, keeps the population bomb ticking, keeps furnishing holy jihad with suicidal warriors.
3. What is a tranquil jihadi home like?
4. Which society is so dysfunctional, again? Is that why they are flooding the West?
5. Marriage is a joke, and so is having children -- More the merrier, like OBL, 54th son of the Sheik, allegedly a gang banger!
6. Perpetuating the species -- by making bombs, tying them to children, more jihadi killings, more body parts and ketchup...

1. 'Relationships between men and women', she says, please take note. Not between men and camels, goats or asses! And Richard Burton invented the 1001 Nights.
2. Relationships defined by Islam, like lusting after your son's wife, or a 6 year old child, or the triple talaaq. If father-in-law rapes his son's wife, she is no longer married to the son, but must treat the latter as her own son, said marriage being automatically annulled. Or the Islamic gang rapes to avenge men's *honor*. Thank heavens for societies that seek to treat women on par with men!!!
3. Western values grow less appealing, but not non-Islamic or western aid, since all Islamic societies are thoroughly bankrupt of both commerce and ideas.

Raidah was not oppressed. She was scornful of the non-Muslim mainstream.'

--Now you know why the asylum-seekers throng to the West. Also, Raidah was not oppressed as a tool of Satan in the Western mould, but can she challenge a Mullah like Hilaly, and still speak as a free woman of righteous morals in the Ummah?

Posted by: pagandkapitat [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 29, 2006 9:38 AM

I sure dont know what all the anger is about, the Quran tells us what Islam thinks of women, and Sheik Taj al-Din Al-hilaly is only expressing this. This man has been teaching his hatred in Australia now for many years and of course as usual there has been no outrage from the moderate Muslims, but now that he has been found out they are saying that they dont agree with him that it is terrible what he says and he should be sacked. So where were these same people when he preached his hate to his audience????
