All four were studying at al-Iman University in Sanaa, Yemen, a university once suspended by the Supreme Yemeni Council for Universities for overlooking students' academic qualifications (or lack thereof) as long as they could recite 5 excerpts from the Qur'an (no word on which ones).
The Danish suspect is said to be a convert to Islam -- another convert, another alleged "misunderstander" of his new religion. "3 Australians, Dane Held in Yemen Over Arms Smuggling," from AP:
SANAA, 28 October 2006 -- Three Australians and a Dane have been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle weapons to Somalia, a security official said late Thursday.
All four have been studying at the Islamist Iman University, which is run by Sheik Abdul-Majid Al-Zindani. The United States lists Al-Zindani as an Al-Qaeda supporter.

However, a Danish Foreign Ministry official confirmed the arrest of the Dane but refused to identify him. "All I can say is that a Danish national has been arrested according to our information," said Uffe Wolffheckel of the Foreign Ministry’s Consular Service.
Danish media said the suspect is a 23-year-old male who converted to Islam and moved to Yemen two months ago with his wife and child.

Its not a good sign to see the "Lilly whites" getting more involved with the jihad...that goes along with what al qaeda says they have in store for us. The election coming up is a prime time for some spectacular operations!

Of course I'm not comparing an adherence to western values with an unhealthy habit like smoking. I'm merely drawing attention to th unhealthy over-enthusiasm of the neophyte.

Couldn't the average schoolboy recite five verses of the Qur'an? (and here I thought standards were slipping at Western universities).
I recently saw the film "The Journalist and the Jihadi" (about the brutal murder of Daniel Pearl) on HBO. There was footage of a Pakistani Masjid (religious school). All the boys were sitting cross-legged in a circle and rocking back and forth as though they were severly autistic. They were all reciting over each other, so there was a great cacaphony. The boys looked glassy-eyed. It didn't really resemble anything most of us would recognize as "education".

At some point in the fourth or fifth centuries some writer rcorded his shock at seeing a group of people reding without moving their lips - let alone rocking back and forth. Things just seemed to be getting more rational, somehow.As a junior shoolboy our teacher told us tht we would remember our times tables better if we thumped the desk every time we rattled off the sum of two multiples and physiclly put ourselves behind these repetitive recitations. it just goes to show how Muslims are aware of every trick in the book when it comes to turning ordinary children into eager cannon fodder in the cause of jihad by building on the brain-washing from birth that constituted islamic education.

'White Converts' are eagerly sought after and receive 'special treatment'-look at Dipstick Ridley-to convince them they are the chosen of Allah.If these weak minded traitors are too stupid to ask pertinent questions about bombing their Christian relatives,helpless children & civilians,so much the better. Am sure Al Quaeda sheiks gloat over videos of white converts blowing themselves and others up.They are sooooh
useful as Western poster boys & girls too before
their final Exit.They deserve a Firing Squad to be made an example of and to deter other deranged fools from joining the Death Cult.

One GOOD thing.. The enemy will NEVER know for sure that one of those whiteys they bring into their fold is not a secret agent of some kind.. MI-5, FBI, CIA, Mossad, BND.. maybe even KGB. They are making a serious mistake imho bringing in white "converts". It's our foot in the door.
