What kind of threats had to be made to Musharraf to get him to agree to this? An AP story by Habibullah Khan:
KHAR, Pakistan - Pakistani troops backed by missile-firing helicopters destroyed a purported al-Qaida-linked training facility in a northwestern tribal area near the Afghan border Monday, officials said. At least 20 people were killed. The pre-dawn attack targeted a religious school, or madrassa, holding 70-80 militants in Chingai village near Khar, the main town in the Bajur tribal district, said army spokesman Maj. Gen. Shaukat Sultan....
Sultan said the attack targeted terrorists training at the al-Qaida-linked facility, but local leaders said those killed in the raid were innocent civilians.
Among the dead was Liaquat Hussain, a local Islamic cleric who ran the madrassa and is believed to have been sheltering al-Qaida militants, locals said. Several of his aides also died, they said.
The attack came two days after 5,000 pro-Taliban tribesmen held an anti-American rally in the Bajur area near Damadola, a village close to the site of an alleged U.S. missile attack that killed several al-Qaida members and civilians in January.
"We received confirmed intelligence reports that 70-80 militants were hiding in a madrassa used as a terrorist-training facility, which was destroyed by an army strike, led by helicopters," Sultan said....
Siraj ul-Haq, a Cabinet minister from the North West Frontier Province, condemned the attack and announced he would resign from the government in protest.
"This is a very wrong action. The government has launched an attack during the night, which is against Islam and the traditions of the area," ul-Haq told the AP during the funeral. "They (the victims) were not given any warning. This was an unprovoked attack on a madrassa. They were innocent people."...
Ul-Haq, who belongs to the powerful Islamic political party, Jamaat-e-Islami, said protests would be staged throughout the northern tribal region on Tuesday to denounce the attack.

Why hasn’t Robert been on Bill O'Reilly's show? He has had plenty of people with ‘extreme’ views on, and I cant imagine him being too intimidated, but who knows. I think we owe it to Robert and that everyone here should email Bill with a message similar to this:
Bill, you as "Culture Warrior" need to have Robert Spencer, author of the new book "The Truth About Muhammad", on your show. The cultural struggle with Islam is the most important issue today and will continue to define the 21st century. The book, while being controversial and politically incorrect, is very factually correct. Please do not be intimidated by the alliance of our enemies and the champions of political correctness.

from the AP link: Villagers picked up body parts scattered across the area and placed them in plastic bags normally used for fertilizer.
At least the bags were utilized in a consistent manner.

Terrorist training facility = Madrassa in Pakistan. Usually they start 'em young, but it is not known if these were new converts to Islam. But they wouldn't dare go anywhere near the Mother of them all, the JuD at Muridke near Lahore (See link below). Terrorists on the tribal border of Afghanistan are highly expendable commodity anyway. But this is peanuts compared to the Saudi and international Islamic funding involved in the Pakistani madrassas and its general jihadi war export!
How many bombings averted, if 70-80 militants and teacher killed in one fell swoop? How many NATO lives saved?
Yet another call to jihad from the JuD (Hafiz Saeed, founder of JuD and its terrorist wing Lashkar e Toiba, who was under 'house arrest' following international pressure, was freed by the Pakistan Supreme Court during Ramzan):

Time to unite for faith :Jama't-ud-d'awah
16-Sep-2006, 1427-08-22
Jama’at-ud-Da’wah has urged all religious and political parties on the need to initiate a global uprising against the demeaning of Jihad and Islam, and the disrespect of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by Pope Benedict of Rome. The organization has asked the whole Muslim Ummah to unite on this vital issue of Aqeedah (Belief) and Eemaan (Faith).
Jama’at-ud-Da’wah has said the Kuffar are attacking the life, property, and Faith of the Muslims in accordance with a well thought out plan, and the only way that Muslims can defend Islam is by following the examples of Ghazi ‘Ilm Deen Shaheed and Aamir Cheema.
Members of the central leadership of Jama’at-ud-Da’wah, Hafiz Abd-ur-Rahman Makki, Maulana Ameer Hamza, and Hafiz SaifUllah Mansoor, in a joint statement issued here today, said, ‘Pope Benedict, the highest ranking religious leader of the Christians has proven, by repeating the disrespectful words of a Byzantine king, that he is still fighting the old crusade. The war between Islam and Kufr has begun. This is a matter of the inviolability of Islam and Muslims. Muslims rulers should reflect upon whose side they are on in this war which has been begun by the US against Islam. They must make their stance totally clear and evident to the Muslim Ummah, whether they want to side with those who have disrespected The Messenger (peace be upon him), or with those who are ready to give their lives for the sake of Allah’s Prophet (peace be upon him).
They called upon the rulers of Pakistan to stop harassing and imprisoning the guardians of Islam and Pakistan under pressure of those who insult the Qur’an and the Prophet (peace be upon him), and demanded the immediate release of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, and Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.

The pakistan government is so devious and has lied so many times I can't believe this is not just some more cosmetic.

I sent the email to O'Reilly, Mr. Charles Martel. It is a great idea.
As to Pakistan, I pray that the news is true!!! I wonder if it was the same Madrassa in Western Pakistan that I saw on CNN or Fox sometime ago. It was an interesting segment.

"The pakistan government is so devious and has lied so many times..."
Well, there may be more than meets the eye here, as we find that Asia Times is reporting, the following: [ http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/HJ31Df03.html ]
"Pakistani authorities claimed immediately that the raid was carried out by Pakistani forces. However, Asia Times Online contacts on the spot are convinced that the raid was undertaken by North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces. Recently, Islamabad agreed with NATO that it could conduct operations in Pakistan from across the border in Afghanistan.
....
Just as they are denying NATO involvement in Monday's attack, Pakistani authorities also initially denied the US had carried out the January attack"
Also, please note [from the above article] that Pakistan reportedly signed a peace deal with the Taliban "authorities" in Bajour only 2 days ago.

I also dropped O'Reilly a line. It would be cool to have Robert Spencer on his show.

Charles Martel,
The e-mail has been sent to Mr. O'Reilly. What an eye opener that would be, if Robert made it onto his show.

If this did happen it must have been a complete accident. Mushy Raff probably already sent a note of apology to mule-ah Omar for this and some supplies to replace what was lost.

If its the NATO forces, please drop a few on the madrassas (translation: terror factories) on the Pak occupied Kashmir side also. The Indians would be glad to be of assistance

but local leaders said those killed in the raid were innocent civilians.(*
Oh yeh, it is always" innocent civilians" whenever their enemy stuffed them. A typical lyrics sang by all Muslims everywhere it could be in Iraq, Israel, Kashmir-India, Afghanistan or in the US.
Of course they NEVER kill innocent civilians, because they preach ROP... give me break dude.

Whether or not it was Pakistan or NATO doesn't really matter... What matters is that their are fewer Jihazis today than there was yesterday...
That's just my opinion...

The Madrassa Mash! It was a Jihad Smash!
They did the Mash! They vaporized in flash!
They did the Mash! They did the Madrassa Mash!
Faquir was having fun
The praying had just begun. Facing Mecca, with guns on rugs
Suddenly they're feeding crows and bugs.
They did the Mash!
