Al-Qaeda against the hypocrites of the Musharraf regime. At least so says Gulf Daily News. "Rocket plot uncovered":
ISLAMABAD: A group said to be affiliated with Al Qaeda, planned rocket attacks on Islamabad from its sanctuary in the country's tribal lands near the Afghan border, it was revealed yesterday.Pakistani security agencies arrested three suspects after rockets were found last month opposite the presidency, parliament and the headquarters of military spy agency, Inter Services Intelligence.
According to a report, the men took their orders from an Uzbek commander of the Islamic Jihad Group based in North Waziristan.
"While the fingers were in Islamabad, the tail was in Mir Ali," an investigator said, referring to a town in North Waziristan. The government signed a pact on September 5 with tribal elders to end fighting between security forces and militant tribesmen, but critics said the deal risked creating a safe haven for Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters.

That would be the Islamic Emirate of Northern Waziristan, thank you. Don't let Caliph Osama bin Laden talking so imprecisely, you could get murdered that way.
Expect much much more from this dynamic little nascent nation. Expect intense WMD development work, expect intense calisthenics, expect expanding borders, expect eventually the UAP (the United Emirates of Pakistan), expect Condi to go there with her gap toothed stupidities and pull a mistake train, expect Islam to be all the UIRNW can be there, expect the this new nation to one day fall under a withering rain of nuclear detonations, cuz the UIRNW is a Moslem boy scout camp with live ammo, and that's an intolerably bad thing.
There has not been a nation so pure an Islamic nation since Umar ibn al-Khattab took Arabia, and that was a long time ago.
