The God of Christianity tells us to forgive and love even our enemies. We are told to have faith that God will bring ultimate justice. He is allowing Islam to murder and rampage, just as he allowed the Babylonians to punish Israel. This is part of His plan. However, in the end God destroyed Babylon, just as He will destroy Islam.

Trading anything for peace is an illusion, but Bush and Olmert are still living under the fantasy that a "two-state" solution will bring peace. It won't! Just ask the Christian Palestinians still living under the rule of the PA. Peace (and justice) is better served by a three-state solution.

1. A secure Israel, with its Christian minority but minus its muslim demographic time-bomb.

2. A Christian majority Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria with a strong and secure Jewish presence. The Palestinian Christian population will supplemented by accepting Christian refugees from Iraq and other Muslim countries. This Christian Palestinian state will be in federation with Israel for trade, defense, and economic development.

3. After the Muslim interlopers are humanely transferred out of Israel and Palestine, they can establish their own state in Jordan.

Israel should adopt this as a solution since the Jordan river is a more naturally defensable boundary while marring the land with "security walls" is innefective and unjust to the Christians and Jews living in Judea and Samaria. Most importantly, it does nothing about the Muslim demographic nightmare. Of course the UN and Europe will scream about the population transfer, but the argument can be made that having their own Muslim state in Jordan is actually more humane than living as unaccepted and hated exiles in other Arab countries.

OK, first there's the fact that Israel should be giving up a strategic advantage for what is not even nominally more than a temporary peace.

In addition to that, why trust Palestinians to keep even a temporary cease-fire? Make a treaty with whatever Palestinian government is in power, and the terror will continue from elements such government can formally disavow, while no doubt supplying them with arms and other support covertly.

If Israel is to trust the Palestinians, first the Palestinians need to demonstrate that they are mature enough to be trusted. Of course, if the Palestinians had any maturity, an agreement of any kind would be unnecessary, because they wouldn't be attacking Israel, without whose goodwill Palestine will never be more than a misery and a failure.

I have this book called the Bible, the Muslims refer to it themselves (but I think only to justify Muhammods claims), and it talks of the kingdoms of Judea and Israel being in that part of Palestine. There is also archaeology that provides concrete links from those kingdoms to events in Babylon and Egypt.

And it constantly amazes me how Muslims claim that Jews have no right to live in Isreal.

And have you notice how the western learned people talk about the three world religions, the same God. Ramon, a Muslim, doesn't believe that God is a Jewish God. God is a Arab god. Not the same. Why don't we ever just take what they say at face value?

We need to stop trying to appease these muslims. They are never satisfied and only want to blame everyone else for thier problems. Israel made a mistake by not completing the mission in Lebanon and bowing down to World preasure. We've had a couple this week. One was banned. I think this is one of the problems for so many in their concept of all things Islamic because too many don't know about Islam and many don't interact with muslims enough to see their real agendas. Tell me how many non-muslim people are holding important position in the muslim world.

In Lebanon the president, Emil Lahoud, is Christian. In Iraq the defence minister Tareq Aziz was a Christian. The most important adivsor to King Mohammad in Morroco is a Jew. Even in Iran there many Jews in the parlament. However,in Israel you can have a man like Avigdor Lieberman join the coalition, who can openly say that Arab members of the Knesset should be shot for treason and all Israeli Palestinians should have their citizenship revoked. Olmert's suggestion is very strange, as it appears not to provide any indication of what the Arabs would provide in exchange for this retreat.

The Arabs lost the territory in 1967 due to their belligerence, born of misconceived self-righteousness and self-importance and the intransigence that naturally flows from such delusions. Based upon the historical record up to an including the present, with the continuing rocket outrages, why would Israel want to deal with the Arabs in a conciliatory way?

The Arabs and Moslems lay claim to Israel, but so what? Why should that parcel of real estate be any different than the rest of the world, for from the Moslem viewpoint, all the world belongs to Allah (and did you know Mohammed is his prophet?). There is consequently nothing to be gained from negotiation, trading land for peace. Instead, maybe the Moslems should be forced to enjoy the process of yielding lands for peace, so that territories lost over the centuries to these bandits can be returned to the rightful owners.

Netanyahu would fight it for all he's got. Secondly, there is no 15 year peace, as prophecy states a 7 year peace which only lasts 3 1/2 years. We can't allow the trolls to get to us, including myself. They're losers now and they lose in the end. Look at the poverty of their countries. In Gaza there are rats crawling on people in the restaurants. Iraq is one big sewer of trash. Look at the poverty of the other Muslim countries. They are not God's chosen that's for sure. Look at the prosperity of the Jews, how they took that barren land and turned it into a gold mine, with trees, fruit, etc. They are the chosen ones and God said once he gives them their country back, nobody will ever be able to take it away again. We must calm ourselves down. The West Bank will never be given to the Arabs for 15 years of peace. The Christians and Jews will see that never happens. I don't know what Olmert is thinking, grasping at straws I guess.
