Islamic jihadists in southern Thailand burn teacher alive

Will the Islamophobia never end?

"Insurgents in southern Thailand burn teacher alive," from Deutsche Presse Agentur, with thanks to Doc Washburn:

Bangkok - Insurgents shot a school director Friday afternoon in southern Thailand then set his vehicle on fire killing him in the flames, the English-language Bangkok Post newspaper website reported.

Police said the director of a school in Pattani province, 750 kilometres south of Bangkok, was shot in his pickup truck while driving out of school.

He was wounded but not killed in the shooting before insurgents set his pickup truck on fire. He was burned alive inside the truck.

Thailand's three predominately Muslim southernmost provinces have been increasingly restive the past three years, but no insurgent groups are claiming responsibility for the violence or making demands in exchange for stopping it.

Bangkok's new military-installed government has apologized to the people in the southern provinces for past injustices and is making a new approach to ending the violence peacefully a top priority.

It is the jihadists who should be apologizing, and being called upon to apologize.

Remind me what Riyadh wants the leader of the 'free-world' to parrot? 'Izlum is a religion of peace'... was that OK, your royal highness?

By the way, here is what Wafa Sultan thinks about the leader of the 'free world': http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52962

I bet this man was a Christian, Hindu, or Buddist.

But any ole infidel will do.

Muslims are simply being true to the Quran in that part of the world.

Eventually, they will be TRUE to the Quran here in the U.S.

This is some kind of a mistake, surely the Religion of Peace is not involved. These must be rogue muslims who will be condemned by main stream peaceful muslims worldwide. Excuse me...I just checked and mainstream muslims are at war with their neighbors worldwide. My mistake!

This brutality, along with the violence Southern Thailand has experienced, just goes on to demonstrate what kind of violent scum follow Islam.

"It is the jihadists who should be apologizing, and being called upon to apologize."

Superficially yes, but the government should be ashamed for apologizing for acts instead of acting against them. Even some bluff and BS would send a better message than "Oh my, you poor victims... I sure hope they stop oppressing you soon."

As for calling upon jihadists to apologize, I can think of some other things I might like to call upon them to do first. ;->

This is just one more of a long unending line of islamic events against the Rest of the World. What can anyone really add to the picture? They're painting a very expressionistic one of their foolish 'faith'.

The surge of terror in the south of Thailand is probably due to their coup too. This country is still under martial law, led by a muslim army chief who was visiting recently Pakistan and is going to Egypt to visit Thai muslim students there. Kind of strange flirts for an army chief, isn't it?

Perhaps Thailands majority Buddhists will end up like Lebanon Christians.

"Because they hate" is the title of Brigitte Gabriels book intruduced in her interview.

It is my very serious opinion that islam (small "i" offense intended) is the one-world religion mentioned in Scripture, and that all of these events are ushering in the last days.

There is no other reason whatsoever to explain just exactly why the US "superpower" state cowers before any serious action. We cower before our own traitors within, leaving the New York Times open for business instead of closed and auctioned off. We cower before al-brassiera in its English version. We are seen as weak because we are weak.

Any and all other western states snivel and wring their hands, mopping their collective brow. No one will EVER stand before this resident evil until the Second Coming.

So, on this I offer two points:

1) thank you, world, for doing exactly as your are supposed to do to bring in the final days of this earth and the return of the King, and

2) in the Name of Jesus I remind you all that Muhammad blows.

I believe that in the last days we all will overcome evil.
It's not ours to surrender to evil.

Don't give up! - keep yourselves!

I'm not sure about this statement. The one-world religion could also point to globalisation and the UN.

Gee, I wonder who the Buddiphobic assassins might be?

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 25, 2006 1:31 AM

It's so obvious! It was no doubt done by a monk assassin sent by Opus Dei!

Jesus Christ Super cop!

What has this to do with Opus Dei!

I do understand that the Roman Catholics have their flaws in their religious systems and that without the Protestants we wouldn't have even the "Bible", but there is also a big revival going on now.

Can you elaborate on your claims?

Well, this was done with the sanction of the (Buddhist) King. The fact that the coup leader is Muslim is rather irrelevant and he still continues to be for the primarily Buddhist government in fighting the insurgency.

Anyways, a sad event. :(

Where are the Muslim apologists now? They all seem to run and hide whenever a horrific headlines like this is posted.

Actually, there has been almost no international coverage of the ongoing ethnic cleansing of thai and chinese from southern thailand in any international media. bbc, cnn, reuters, none of them even touch it. I have been trying without success to get bbc to even mention what is going on in the south of our country but to no avail.
it seems if the news presents islam in an unflattering way it is not reported. if anyone meets islam's agression with force they are swiftly condemed as human rights violators, etc.

Gren! Wasn't the coup first and the King informed right after that?

Doesn't leave much of a choice for a well respected Monarch.
In fact the King is deeply distressed about the situation in the south of Thailand.

a rational aversion -

Get a grip. Your whining makes you sound like nothing so much as a muslim bleating on about 12th imam eschatology.

Muslims present a problem right now to all liberal western democracies, but to imply they're about to usher in the second coming of thebabyjesus and the end of time is hysterical rubbish worthy of amadinnerjacket.

It's true that there hasn't been much coverage in the English-language media, but that might just be a matter of geography. There's certainly a considerable amount of coverage in Chinese and in Thai. (And the Chinese-language media is pretty international in that it's read by people across the world, even if it's people of mostly one ethnic group.)

I've been blogging about the ethnic cleansing of Buddhists from southern Thailand, because many Buddhists whom I know in the West are completely ignorant of the situation there, as well as of Muslim persecution of Buddhists elsewhere in the world. It's somewhat understandable that Buddhist immigrants, many of whom come from countries which were formerly colonised by the West, would perhaps too readily accept the explanation that Muslim violence is caused by resentment at colonialism.

Does anyone remember a fatwa passed against bin Laden because the issuing cleric considered it contrary to Islam to use fire to burn one's enemies? I think the hadiths cited were Bukhari Volume 9, Book 84, Number 57 and Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260. I remember reading about this, but I can't recall the source. In my blog, I noted that the terrorists appeared to have contravened this injunction against the use of fire as a weapon.

Robert, if you're reading this, I know you're busy, but I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light on the apparent adoption of fire as a weapon by the terrorists in relation to the above hadiths.

Most people are confused and perplexed as to how islamists are able to wage such savage wars against the thai people.

In western countries for example, one hardly has the time or energy to do such things and life's problems like mortgage, taxes and insurances, kids education and so on are the prime concerns.

In order to find out how islamists are able to carry out such violent acts, we must know their source of income, the madarssas source of income and the training they receive for jihad.

1. Source of Income.
2. Radicalized ideology
3. Training as writers and teachers and preachers in madrassas and masjids.

The source of income is the arab oil wealth.
The radicalized ideology is received from Punjabi and Arab deobandi and wahhabi theologians
The training is received from punjabi madrassas in
bahawalpur, lahore, islamabad, etc.

The arab-punjabi axis of evil provides all this mind and physical training for terrorists throughour the world including thailand and this axis must be firmly dealt before the poison seeps to cause global catastrophe.

Vicious dogs! All these muslims know is death. They are the hordes of destruction. Eventually they will be eliminated. It will be in the history books.
