Thousands denounce papal visit to Turkey

Tiny Minority of Extremists Update from modern, secular Turkey. From AAP, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Tens of thousands of protesters denounced Pope Benedict XVI as an enemy of Islam at a rally that highlighted the deep strains in Turkey before hosting the pontiff this week.

Chants of "No to the Pope!" rose among the nearly 25,000 demonstrators at every mention of the pope's remarks on violence and the Prophet Muhammad. Many protesters wore headbands with anti-pope slogans and waved placards that included a depiction of Benedict as the grim reaper.

The protest, organised by an Islamist political party, was the largest mass gathering so far against Benedict's four-day visit scheduled to begin Tuesday - his first papal journey to a mostly Muslim nation. The outcry also was designed to rattle Turkey's establishment.

Turkish officials hope to use the visit to promote their ambitions of becoming the first Muslim nation in the European Union and showcase their secular political system. But pro-Islamic groups - which have been gaining strength for years - perceive Benedict as a symbol of Western intolerance and injustices against Muslims.

"The Pope is not wanted here," said Kubra Yigitoglu, 20, who attended the rally in a headscarf, ankle-length coat and cowboy boots.

Nearby, a large banner was raised amid a sea of red flags of the Saadet, or Felicity, party. It called the Vatican "a source of terror".

Sure. That's why those 19 Catholic priests flew those planes into the World Trade Center towers.

'Resisting Islam is Terror'- because if you don't 'accept our invitation'- we must kill you to make you Islamic...

That seems to be the underlying, perverted conclusion here.

'STOP RESISTING ISLAM NOW' was one of the posters seen in Londonistan during Pope-rage, (or was it cartoon-rage?) Hard to remember which rage it was, since the rages rage more frequently by the day...

The Vatican is a source of terror? As usual Islamania has a slight problem with perception. No wonder it is nearly impossible to "reform" Islam-it can't even tell truth from fantasy. Where are the "moderates" to counter such BS? Islam sure makes it hard to develop better relations with others by making such ridiculous statements.

The Religion Of Terror (R.O.T.) is their own worst enemy. Not a day goes by that they don't make themselves look bad and the world can't help but notice. I'm sure the Pope is aware of the danger and is prepared.

Check out these photos of peaceful Muslim throngs in Turkey.

Take not of the sheer magnitude of the crowds, and of the black garbed women in their thousands.

The next time some obscurantist suggests that our hope lies with the women oppressed by Islam remember these pictures. Remember the exploding grandma. Remember the couple planning on using their baby for a bomb. Remember the women posing as pregnant mothers with extra large bombs strapped under their flowing Islamic garb.

How long are we to endure this?

I was in Istanbul two weeks ago and commented on the heavy police presence in the city centre when there was nothing happening. I was told "You should see it when there is a demonstration - There are usually about 30 demonstrators and 300 police watching them!"

So this cannot be true, such a large demonstration would have been widely covered by our fearless MSM – wouldn’t it?

This is the "turnspeak" that muslims use.

The Vatican is a source of terror actually means :-

"Islam is a source of terror".

On this I agree with them

Well, well another example of how tolerant and secular Turkey is...And this is the country Bush & Blair are trying to steamroll into Europe-only
70 million more 'pious' Muslims to ravage the West and its values.Bush & his poodle Blair deserved to be kicked up their arses for this alone-let alone a catalogue of disasters in Iraq & Afghanistan where their chickens infected with the deadly viruses of tunnel vision & imperial dreams are truly coming home to roost.Won't be too long before triumphant Jihadists put what they've learnt in Iraq to mass murder of Western
Infidels.

As a person of Greek heritage I dont want to say "I told you so" to those who swear that Turkey is secular and therefore tolerant (even though its 99% muslim and as my exmuslim friend said "its one revolutionary coup away from becoming an Islamic Republic). But what the hell:

I TOLD YOU SO !!!

Why Turkey doesn't belong in the EU:

they are not a democracy
they deny the obvious genocide of the Christians in that area (Armenians,Greeks) and non Christians (Kurds, Jews) THAT ALL EU COUNTRIES AND FREE WORLD NATIONS INCLUDING THE USA HAVE ACCEPTED! Turkey not only still denys its killing of MILLIONS but tried to get schools in the US to keep it out of schoolbooks with a Turkish lobby .
See smug Turkish politicians walk by the ancestors of those they killed as they come into the US to try to influence the American Govt.

I love Canada and as a Canadian I will fight till my last breath that Islam does not dominate in this fair land. The two Canadians just killed where young guys full of life who came there to help build their stupid country. Please pray for their families they leave back here in Canada.

Turkey's EU membership will be the first mistake , and then the Innevitable stripping of that same EU membership after Turkey and Islamania show us their mettle and true colors ( as if we don't already know) will be the second biggest mistake the Eu and Europe will ever make . There is NO way Turkey will ever be able to live up to the standards required of EU membership, in fact that is why they keep getting turned down. the innevitable will only Fuel the fire and Propaganda that we the west are the Evil ones, and that we are oppressing and punishing poor peace loving Muslims because of our jealousy of Islam, the Religion of peace.

I was re-reading some of Vernon Richards "Islam Undressed". From Islam's own history I cannot see a "civil" method to end Islam's centuries of killing, rape, and in-tolerance in of "G*d is Great!. The Islamic "Powers that Be" want nothing more than dominance over the world. THEY will not blow themselves up but they will "brainwash" their mentally inept to kill and terrorize the non-believers. After a few years of educating myself slowly to this Islam, I now am of the belief that Islam as it is today must be eradicated.. Muhammad must have been the "Anti-Christ".

One small bit of text from Mr. Richards writing..

"For in all forms of Islamic thought and practice, the non-believer cannot be the equal of the believer. A basic principle of Islamism holds that humanity is divided according to a strict hierarchy of worth. At the top of this hierarchy are free Muslim males, the cream of humanity. Below them, in descending order of humanity, are: Muslim male slaves, free Muslim women, Muslim female slaves, the males of the "People of the Book" (Jews and Christians), and, then, the female of the ‘People of the Book’. Finally, the rest of humanity comes in dead last (excuse the pun), because they lack a soul they are regarded as worthless having no rights whatsoever. This unfortunate final grouping includes Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, and others. But before Jews and Christians celebrate escaping last-place in this uniquely Islamic popularity contest, the fine print should first be carefully studied. Quotes referencing Christians and Jews from the Qur’an include: – "Worst of Creatures, Perverse, and Friends of Satan". The clear direction from Muhammad appears to be that Muslims are not allowed to even be friends or take favors from Jews and Christians, unless that devotion/tax is extracted by force or threat of force. Christians and Jews then and now hold a special place in Islamic theology, and are presented in a hateful manner in the Qur’an and in modern Islamic theology today. In the end they were regarded with contempt by Muhammad, the final words reported from the mouth of the dying Prophet were a curse on them "Allah's damnation be on the Jews and the Christians …."
98:6 Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
5:51 O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust).

How long are we to endure this?

Media control yields opinion programming, which in turn yields more mass delusion and thereby more time for the Moslems to breed up. I wonder if they complain while they're doing it?

Me, I favor the apocalyptic scenario cuz the Moslems just can't control themselves. They intensely believe their own bullcrap and thirst for blood too much to just sit back and breed.

What'll happen after they detonate? What will civilization's reaction be? Looking at Sweden, the PRC, and Russia, I expect the worst, a half-assed reaction that will set the stage for them to consolidate power merely by leveraging the 6th Pillar thereafter.

Try to figure the good things of this.

I can see that muslims are scared to death with the idea that the pope is visiting Turkey.

Muslims are scared of the truth.

Muslims are scared of being exposed.

Muslims are scared that others see the real islam.

I for myself I pray the Holy Spirit on the pope and into him, so that he may find the right words in this kind of tribulation he's facing.

Amen, Amen!!

The Vatican is a source of terror? Sure it is. All those headchopping, suicide bombing roman catholic groups like the Al Queda and Abu Sayaff look first to Pope and only later to Mohammed for their inspiration.

It all makes sense.

The Pope going to Turkey serves many purposes, and l do pray he comes out of it alive, not as Roman Chatolic, but a Westerner. The Pope does understand history, can can see what is happening today, especially in Europe. He knows when the EU brings in Turkey, Europe will go further into the abyss. So, by going to Turkey, he will unviel islam because being muslim they cannot stop from themsevles that is being violent, as all the world sees them. The words uttered by the Pope, the muslims are proving him right. The Pope before him helped bring down the Soviets, now this Pope has a much more difficult task of bringing down Islam.

Seems to get clearer now.

The negotiations with Turkey to become member of the EU are canceled for now due to the fact that Turkey doesn't want to recognize Cyprus in the talks included.

Amen, Amen!!

Josephine,

that's from their quran.
I've taken the time and effort to read it.

For example muslims say whenever they mention Jesus (PBUH = peace be upon him), which is a clear language that they do not respect him as what he was and is.

How can someone say/think that, when Jesus is the provider of peace when asked for? They better wish it to each other.

It all sums up in one result. Islam wants to patronize everything.

All Catholics in the United States have been requested to say this prayer daily during the Pope's pilgrimage to Turkey:

Heavenly Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name, we humbly ask that you sustain, inspire, and protect your servant, Pope Benedict XVI, as he goes on pilgrimage to Turkey – a land to which St. Paul brought the Gospel of your Son; a land where once the Mother of your Son, the Seat of Wisdom, dwelt; a land where faith in your Son’s true divinity was definitively professed. Bless our Holy Father, who comes as a messenger of truth and love to all people of faith and good will dwelling in this land so rich in history. In the power of the Holy Spirit, may this visit of the Holy Father bring about deeper ties of understanding, cooperation, and peace among Roman Catholics, the Orthodox, and those who profess Islam. May the prayers and events of these historic days greatly contribute both to greater accord among those who worship you, the living and true God, and also to peace in our world so often torn apart by war and sectarian violence.

We also ask, O Heavenly Father, that you watch over and protect Pope Benedict and entrust him to the loving care of Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Fatima, a title cherished both by Catholics and Muslims. Through her prayers and maternal love, may Pope Benedict be kept safe from all harm as he prays, bears witness to the Gospel, and invites all peoples to a dialogue of faith, reason, and love. We make our prayer through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE CHRISTIANITY IS A RELIGION OF TERROR?? Contrast this with what is going on in Turkey.

"Jesus (PBUH = peace be upon him)." Saying this is basically implying that Jesus is dead...

Jesus is God and these muslims are never going to understand that.

This is just another indicator of the Satanic origins of Islam. Satan was too smart to deny the existence of Jesus Christ outright. It was far more effective for Satan's purposes just to inspire Muhammad to deny Christ's divinity and His redemptive death on the cross for our sins, thus transforming His memory into an empty shell to serve as window dressing for the new Satanic religion.

The power of a great lie stems from the remnants of truth which it incorporates and thereby perverts.

Turkey in EU means Bulgaria becomes Turkish.

search on Google: Bulgaria population

Middle East Map including Turkey and Bulgaria

Demographics of Bulgaria

"Total fertility rate

1.38 children born/woman (2005 est.) "

Balkan region maps

Bulgaria wiki

"According to the 2001 census[3], Bulgaria's population is mainly ethnic Bulgarian (83.9%), with two sizable minorities, Turks (9.4%) and Roma (4.7%). "

Letting Turkey joining the EU effectively reverses European history and allows them to reoccupy the Balkans where the population is falling. This trend will reverse if the Balkans are left alone, but immigration on the dips in population means those there will face a ratchet down until they disappear.

An immigration policy of letting in immigrants whenever population has a fluctuation downward will over time eliminate any and all genes present at any starting date. This is true even if population fluctuates normally around a long term mean.

See "Unpleasant Immigration Arithmetic"

Balkan topographical map

Once they get through Bulgaria, they are on the plains of Rumania. Once through the Carpathian mountains, they enter into the plains of Europe, Hungary, etc. They can go there directly as well.

Turkish entrance into the EU means they would invade the Balkans, and the Balkans population would flee to the rest of Europe. This would accelerate the process. The most fundamentalist would come from Turkey. Thus the Balkans would become an extreme fundamentalist region in Europe.

This would then open up Central Europe, including Hungary, Austria, Germany, Poland, etc.

wiki/Demographics_of_Romania#Statistics

"In common with many Eastern European countries, Romania has experienced a decline in population in recent years. The population fell by 1,129,000 or 4.95% in the decade 1992-2002. In three counties, Caraş-Severin, Hunedoara and Teleorman, the population fell by more than 10% over the same period."

"The region's principal nationalities include Turks (12.3 million, 11 million of them inhabiting Turkish Thrace), Greeks (10.5 million, with about 10 million of them being in Greece), Serbs (8.5 million), Bulgarians (7.5 million), Albanians (6 million, with about 3.3 millions of them being in Albania), Croats (4.5 million), Bosniaks (2.4 million), Macedonians (1.4 million) and Montenegrins (0.265 million). If Romania and Slovenia are included, then also Romanians (22 million) and Slovenians (2 million)."

The same people, although they do look alike in their hatred. One picture, a long shot shows not so large a crowd.
Rueters really likes to fuel the fire. They mention over and over the Sept. speech. As if that is the only thing important about the trip. No mention of the persicution of Christains in Turkey.
They are really scared of the Pope. It feels good to see such fear.
Funny how they bring up Jesus. Satin is really afraid of the power of the Son of GOD.

Anyone get the impression that whilst 'Allah' was happy to demote Jesus to 'prophet' status, Jesus might have dispensied with such rubbish and simply labelled Mohammed a false prophet?

After all Mohammed and Jesus' words seem to have about as much in common as Amadinnerjacket's and the Dalai Llama's.

They overlap on the 'one true god' issue and that, as far as I can tell, is pretty much it. "Turn the other cheek" to thy enemy somehow morphs into "Chop off the head of any dirty infidel", and so on.

Broad strokes - I'll leave the direct quotations to the experts.

Jesus didn't denounce Mo by name because Mo didn't come along and make up his "religion" until several hundred years after Jesus was crucified.

I hope the Pope sees the photos and doesn't feel sorry for these "poor misguided children".

Cross civilization = Christendom = Western governance and institutions which protect the rights of individiuals.

The Religion Of Terror (R.O.T.) is their own worst enemy. Not a day goes by that they don't make themselves look bad and the world can't help but notice. I'm sure the Pope is aware of the danger and is prepared.

Unfortunately I must agree with the Farmer. People who insist on living in delusional bubbles can't judge reality and will in the end will insist on living out the conculsions of their belief systems. The only thing that's kept this on 'low heat' so far is the complete ineptitude of the Islamic world. They are incapable of dominating the world. The bad news, in my estimation, is that they are capable of igniting an Apocalypse Now.

They are like the abusive husband... if he can't have his battered wife - nobody can. He'll take her out and kill himself rather than lose.

Go holy father - help people see what we face. The pope is a courageous and wise man by visiting Turkey.

All Turks can read English. A little known fact is that English is the primary language of turkey, so the signs being in English, is a natural course of events.

duh_swami,
did you follow the other turk's comment where he says that Germans should learn turkish in Germany?

There must be something twisted.

The sign says: Aggression, slaughter, exploitation

Muslim Aggression and Slaughter often video taped and shown to the world:
http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

Exploitation: ongoing Muslim slavery, trying to use our Freedoms to implement sharia law, using blasphemy laws to kill Christians and steal their land, strapping bombs to special needs children who have no idea what will happen, raping and enslaving domestic employees, kidnapping and enslaving Christians...the list is too long to post here.

They accept Jesus a prophet replaced by the founder of Islam and state Jesus is not God's Son/the Word of God/God: An insult to Christians and the true God

Will Pope and Patriarch be praying in the Great CathedraL?

Now that would really do a social overhaul.

AMERICANINGERMANY you liked that video --ahh wait you havent seen anything yet! Did you know that genocide surviovers of Muslim turkeys history are still around from 20 years ago? Also notice one of the videos talks of LITTLE BOYS and GIRLS BEING TAKEN

The Crusades of course were a defence against constant mulsim encrouchment and attack. Finally when the muslims took over Asia Minor (there were no muslims of any kind in Turkey before 1000-1100 AD) the subjected the christians and jews there to, you guessed it, Shiara law and the "your not a muslim so pay for it tax" (jizya) . Finally around 1915 they wanted to force mass numbers of remaining Chrisitians in Asia Minor (now called Turkey) so they rouned up MILLIONS of these people. We know them as ARMENIANS. Also they rounded up thousands upon thousands of Greeks, and the 100,0000+ Jewish population that existed there. Over 2 million Armenians were killed and hundreds of thousands of other Christians.

Under Shiara law you MAY kill Christians and Jews if they are "not acting properly" after "court judgements" have been settled against them.

There are surviovors to THIS day, very old but who have not forgotten what happened. Many of these people were interviewed over 20 years ago.

Their testimonies survive...

Here are only a few of them in video testimony telling you what the muslims put them through:

Please note there is also a PROPAGANDA docutmentary called 'truth about Armenia" put on youtude by a Turkish govt official. They have organized countless propaganda programs to promote
that Armenia Genocide didnt happen. Of course its really hard for the world to forget the piled up bodies (just like in the Nazi holocaust). Many WESTERN journalists (like Americans and some Brits) took pictures of what happened and national geographic did a story with picutures at that time (I personally have copies of it they are also available at bigger university libraries around the US and free world). This is why the US and every EU country does not deny the genocide

but our muslim 'friends' deny it and get enraged when a "crusader" like the Pope visits them. If they accept the Pope today what hidden truths would they have to accept next time?

-----------
Turkeys denial in the news (2006 article!)

QUOTE FROM NEW YORK TIMES ARTICLE (link to whole article below):

"Turkey, Armenia and Denial
Published: May 16, 2006

Turkey's self-destructive obsession with denying the Armenian genocide seems to have no limits. The Turks pulled out of a NATO exercise this week because the Canadian prime minister used the term "genocide" in reference to the mass killings of Armenians in Turkey during and after World War I. Before that, the Turkish ambassador to France was temporarily recalled to protest a French bill that would make it illegal to deny that the Armenian genocide occurred. And before that, a leading Turkish novelist, Orhan Pamuk, was charged with "insulting Turkish identity" for referring to the genocide (the charges were dropped after an international outcry).

Turkey's stance is hard to fathom. Each time the Turks lash out, new questions arise about Turkey's claim to a place in the European Union, and the Armenian diaspora becomes even more adamant in demanding a public reckoning over what happened"

I would just love to see the turks demonstrate their despise of popes comments, say, outside the Hagia Sophia. That picture would be just beautiful, if it wasn't so tragic. Is islam the extended version of the Stockholm syndrome?

Plus there was another genocide by the Muslim Turks against the Greek Christians in the early 20th century which is sometimes lumped in with the Armenian genocide but which in many respects is a sepearate muslim attack on another group of famous Christian cities and getting rid of the Christians there:

http://www.greece.org/genocide/

quote from above link:

In September 1922, Mustapha Kemal, the revolutionary ruler of Turkey , led his troops into Smyrna (now Izmir ), which at that time was a predominantly Christian city. While a flotilla of twenty-seven Allied warships - including three American destroyers - looked on, the Turks indulged in an orgy of pillage, rape and slaughter; which the Western powers condoned - eager to protect their oil and trade interests in Turkey - through their silence and by their refusal to intervene. Turkish forces then set fire to the legendary city and totally destroyed it. A massive cover-up followed, by tacit agreement of the Western Allies, who had defeated Turkey and Germany during World War I. By 1923, Smyrna 's demise was all but expunged from historical memory.

PLUS THE MILLIONS KILLED Armenians, Greeks, Jews who would were killed after Constantinople was taken over. (Under shiria law you can kill the people of the book if they resisted you or you want to make an example of them after a war (according to Islamic court rulings of course!)

BUT THERE WAS A SECOND MASSACRE IN ISTANBUL(Constantinople) in 1896 also

Turkish muslims kill christians in ancient christian city smyrna:

Also killings and mass pogrom against Greeks in Istanbul IN THE 1950s ! (why do you think there are only like a 1000 christians there now? Its been a long history of Muslims persecuting them, kicking them out and killing them):

@Panentheist

Islam is the Arab national religion. It was designed to promote Arab imperialism, to enrich and empower the Arabs at the expense OF EVERYONE ELSE!!! It was created to establish Arab supremecy in the world.

Mohammad was ruthless Arab supremecist. There is nothing universal in Islam. It is a degenerate Arab tribal creed.

Read a great article here by Anwar Shaikh:

"The Pope is not wanted here," said Kubra Yigitoglu, 20, who attended the rally in a headscarf, ankle-length coat and cowboy boots."

Cowboy boots. Wow, an American Frontier tradition. Yes, that evil Pope represents all that is evil with the West. Yes, that is why I must wear these Western Cowboy boots.

Well, at least I got a laugh out of it. (The above was tongue-in-cheek.)

Josephine wrote...
Jesus didn't denounce Mo by name because Mo didn't come along and make up his "religion" until several hundred years after Jesus was crucified.

Correct Jo, but St. Paul did (call it prophecy), mention (I think in his letter to the Corinthians) that Christians should not listen to anyone preaching a different gospel (from the ones taught by the Apostles) even if it is from (now get this) an Angel from heaven.

Looks like Paul had some kind of inkling into a future religion inspired by Satan is disguise.

To urbanIIredux concerning your previous posting.

I heartily agree.

Crusader - Yes, I agree. I was responding to a question of why Jesus didn't just call Mo out on his lies and be done with it but I was trying to point out it's because of the timeline.
